I was just thinking. Some of my payware add ons have road traffic around the airport. Would be nice if one of the third party companies make a global road traffic program. Is it possible to have something like this in FS9? Also, anybody know if there is an add on to add global boats and cruise ships? I was flying around Miami the other day (Miami 2012 add on) and there were no boats present.

Hi all, long story short, I downloaded a freeware CYOW. According to that website that lists all the freeware sceneries, it was for FS9, however, it turned out to be for FSX. I started to convert the textures so that FS9 could the scenery. Am I on the right track? Is it just a matter of converting textures? Does anything need to be done to the .blg files as well? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I was just installing more sceneries in my FS9 and perhaps one of them did this, but I'm not sure which one, can you tell anything I could do judging by the picture ?

When I try to delete a "Route Discontinuity" on the FMC, it says Invalid Delete and I wan't to start the flight A.S.A.P But with the Problem, my plane will go bezerk!

Yak-40 as freeware now. Furthermore, the model uploaded there seems to have some modifications. Now I ask if there are pirates at work or has this happened legally? There is a discussion about the author's rights on the site but frankly spoken, my Russian is not sufficient to understand it. Seems that the question is evaded there... Does anybody know more? Hi, I was wondering if there was anyway/tweak/mod available that would allow for my VC gauges (PFD,MCP etc) to be backlite permanently? The issue arises at disk times with decreases lighting there is a period when facing the sun te gauges are dark and hard to see. This is until the gauge backlighting finally comes on. The problem does not effect the PMDG md11 however as these gauges, PFD etc are permany backlite! Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers Chris

I have quite happily been flying around South Africa for a couple of months now with my newly reinstalled fs9 and the scenery/airports from Aeroworx, until yesterday when, flying into FACT, I found only taxiways/gate signs and parking areas. The airport and associated buildings gone leaving only a green/yellow/black area with nothing on it. Tried other airports in SA and eventually found the same thing had happened at FAJS. All other airports(default and Aeroworx) are all good. I tried reinstalling the worx01.zip and worx01a.zip for FAJS and the worx09.zip for FACT but, apart from rewriting some files nothing is any better. B…

Some sceneries in my library dont want to be deleted, nor even installed in some cases, what could be the cause of this, anyone knows ? Everytime I delete a scenery in my library, I restart FS9, but the scenery is back in the library again, why ?? I was installing a lot of sceneries now, since I'm reworking my FS9 on a new PC PS in some cases, some sceneries deleted themselves :(

Many may already know this but I just learned you can actually use FSX Weather themes in FS9 This is great as i noticed a great improvement i just backed-up my Weather Folder within FS9 and placed the FSX weather folder in its place works great Ive been using the FSX ORBX Weather theme in fs9 and runs great no crashes everything is running as it should

I have a couple of repaints that when you switch from the cockpit view to the spot plane view the textures become blurry. The only way I know how to fix them is to zoom all the way in then zoom back out. What causes the textures to become blurry and is there anything I can do to spot the blurry textures from happening when switching views??

Hello everyone, FS9 was working brilliant until I needed to reinstall my entire pc however now this problem is happening as on screenshots. I do not get any CTD just simply the display doesnt update realtime type of thing. im on Windows 7 and have installed it outside of the C:/programme files and kept it in C:/ just like last time. Hello, I'm trying to find some information on fuel planning for my carenado f33a bonanza. In the past i've just filled her up to the top, but now i would like to plan more realistically. I've tried to look at some fuel calculation software from the avsim library but there is not much for GA and nothing for the bonanza. I have just reinstalled my FS9 from a backup, my entire package of old aircraft and 100s of scenery layers and it launched beautifully. However, my scenery quality sucks. The area under my plane is crystal clear but my mid and distant scenery is blurry. I have my config set for AA ticked and running with Bilinear filtering and MIP mapping quality set at 5. Anyone out there with a good clear config willing to share their FS9.cfg file with me to save me hours of tweaking and messing around, it would be greatly appreciated. Good Day All, I have searched the forum but cannot find anything on the topic "top menu bar" in fs9 In fsx all I have to do to get the top menu bar is to press "alt" and then I can use the menu bar and also continue to fly whilst it is there. In fs9 as soon as I press "alt" the menu bar appears and I can use it, but fs9 freezes and will not fly again until I press "alt" again and the menu bar disappears and then I can fly again(sometimes when I press "alt" to fly again the curser has gone from being white to being black).
