I find that ALT TAB does not work well with Vista 64 and tends to corrupt FSX to the extent that it must be task manager shut down.Making it very hard to start up RC.Solutions? Thanx.

First, quick rant to fsx developers. The world does not use inches of mecury for pressure settings we use millibars. You got it right in FS9, why the backward step in fsx?OK, I feel better now. So in order to fix this oversight I extracted the xml gauges from the B737 cab file and edited the xml gauge so pressure is shown in millibars. Rather then use microsoft's utility "Cabdir" to recreate the cab file again I used a 3rd party piece of software cos it had a nice GUI interface. This all worked fine but I noticed it took longer to load the 737 at startup. I could also cause fsx to crash if I clicked OK before the 737 was loaded fully on the selection screen.Recompiling th…

HiI'm stressed. I am starting to get annoyed with FSX. No matter what I do it keeps crashing. It flies for a couple of hours and then crashes and has done since the start. I have changed from WinVista 64 to WinXp and it still crashes. I have reinstalled FSX so many times and it still crashesthe only add on at the moment that is on is PMDG 747-400X. I have both SP1/2 to see if it will help but still crashing. I do not know what to do anymore. Has anyone had troubles with the video card that I have and had troubles with. If anyone has the same problems that I have and they fixed PLEASE HELP! It will be appreciated very much.Evan

HiJust a general question. Does anyone alse have a problem with FSX, when they use it, the computer crashes and goes to a blue screen. Hello everybody. I am here due to the fact that I get a ctd everytime I fly for about 4 hours. I set up my flight and after about four hours the sim randomly freezes. I then have to the to the task manager and shut it off manually. When windows asks me to close the program or check online I click the little arrow with the details and I get apphangb1. Is there anyway to fix this or do anything about it.thanks steven

i have had several ctd while approaching LIRF or opening the sim at this airport. using fsx with sp2. win xp with sp3. crashes occurred prior to sp's. have no afcads or scenery added for this airport.any ideas?steve chavin

just installed sp2 and would like to register that on a nvidia 7950gt I am also getting ctd on drop down menus. When I started troubleshooting I realised that some of the posts I was reading were close to 12months old. To #### with it. Hello to all. I generally run the FSX smoothly. But after some addons, sp1 and sp2 installed, I encounter the CTD problem after changing the time setting in some airports.I had tried some busy airports (addons and defaults) around the world. I found out paris and london's airports causing the problem. I do have addons in london, but not in paris. I am not sure whether is software or hardware's problem. Before I am going any further, I would like to ask any advice. Just had my second flight with FS9 on my new system.My first flight was flawless. Now, I got a CTD with msvcr70.dll-error message...Any ideas?I found another msvcr70.dll and downloaded it..
