FS2CREW: DEFAULT AND PMDG 737 (FS9)

Yello all,I am considering buying this product, but I am wondering, I have a 2 comp set up using WideFS and FSUIPC, can I offload FS2Crew to the second one? Also can I choose which audio device this product uses? I have a USB headset and a soundcard and want to choose the soundcard for this.Heh just did some forum searching, amazing tool no? and answered the second comp question, but the sound question still remainsThanksAndras Kiss

Hello. I was just curious. I read in a previous thread on this forum that FS2Crew comes with a limited number of full SID/STAR and IAPs briefings. Out of curiousity, just exactly how many is, "limited?"Also, is it possible to record your own voice to use as the captain or first officer in FS2Crew? FDC LiveCockpit allows for this ability, though it is difficult with the number of recordings required. I did it, anyway, and I would gladly do it again if FS2Crew supported this. :-)Thanks!HighFlightP.S. From what I've read, and the amount of support I've seen you give, $20 for this software is a very comfortable price considering that it cost $40 for just the 737NG.

Hello,I purchasesd FSCrew on 18th April 2005 for 800/900 ugrade owners, and have made several succesful flights since then (a very nice addition, by the way!). On May 20th I downloaded update 3 for 800/900 owners, and since FS9 has crashed every time after selecting any of the PMDG 737 aircrafts. The error report refers to "crew8.gau" as the culprit. Could you kindly advise me what to do in this case?Best regards,Michael

Is it possible to fly PMDG 737 with FS2Crew not activated? For instance, you don,t want to take the time to go through the start up process from cold and dark? Or to do the same with an engine running start up mode? If so do you just click off the FS2 Crew windows? Thanks Dick Davis

I saw in the vancover video that you had a window view...does that come with the PMDG 600-900 or is it come specially with fs2crew, what botton/key is it?

hii was just wondering that if you have this product, do you have to follow it by the book, the procedures, or can you skip some, i.e can you press ctrl E to start the engines or do you need to go through each step like a fine tooth comb before going to the next?

First : I just love the program !! Thanks a lot.After starting up with cessna and changing to PMDG, then saving the flight, You cant start up from this saved file( FS change the settings again).In the manual you write that there are other ways for a cold and dark start. Hey guys,Three of my last four flights have ended with a CTD. They occured at exactly the same time, after takeoff when requesting FLAPS. I skipped this step once and no CTD occured.I re-installed FS2C after the second occurence. I have update 1 and 2 installed.I have the 800/900 upgrade with the 600/700 PMDG VC patch installed.Aircraft used was the 600/700 series.Two occurenses where on Vatsim, one offline,First time using FS2C with a new system. No problems previously.Using CH Throttle Quad to set flaps when using other aircraft.Looking for suggestions.Thanks for a wonderful addon, looking forward to the next release.cheersGreg

Hii select a precision approach, do a great flight, set the TZDE then disconnect the a/p on final, but the yoke will not put move. I cannot use the elevator. The only way to pitch the plane is by trim. it then crashes. the alerons work ok. Anyone else have this problem..it is VERY annoying/thanks,

Hi I have just recently joined BA Virtual Airways and when flying my 737 flights I use FSCrew when flying offline as well as online. I would just like to say how much more realistic this makes flying with BAV.Well done am now looking forward to you completing FSCrew for Level-D's 767.Many thanks and keep up the great work that you have been creating.

Just becoming familiar with the software.I know this is in the FAQ, concerning slewing causing problems and suggesting loading cessna first. However, I thought that saving the PMDG as a cold & dark situation (after first loading the cessna as advised) would allow me to load the flight from the select flight screen with the PMDG already cold and dark. But as soon as the FA screen appears it disappears !! Surely it is not necessary to load the cessna EVERY time, this is such an annoying overhead. Hi recently aquired fs2 crew and think it is awsome!!I have a small problem tho. After takeoff i call heading select then try to press the flaps button to start the after take off check list and vnav flaps 1 but nothing happens and i get no checklist which skrews up the rest of the flight. I have gone over this many times and made sure my depare brief is correct. I have also ran the tutorials and FO t/o procedures but get the same result. Any help??Regards Nick

I am seriously considering FS2Crew, but before doing so I have one question. I current use FDC, and many of the checklists etc. begin automatically depending on phases of the flight. Is this also the case with FS2Crew or does one need to interact all the time with the various pop-up windows, which to me seems somewhat unrealistic?Any other feedback on how easy the programme is to use, without distracting from the job at hand - flying the aircraft - would be much appreciated.Best regards,Stuart Hyett

First of all, let me congratulate you on a product well done! This is amazing and now I can't for a minute figure out why I waited so long to purchase it, especially since the PMDG 737 is the only aircraft I simulate in FS. My question though, are there no cabin announcements in this product or solely the interaction between the Captain and the First Officer? I think cabin announcements would have made this product even better, in my opinion.Oh well, I'm off for a flight. Doesn't get any more real than this!Best regards,Fredrik

I got the impression from your last sentance that it worked properly before.Are you running in the 2D cockpit or VC?Which version of the PMDG do you own?Did you ensure that you had all the latest PMDG updates installed before installing FS2Crew? That's very important, or things can get messed up.All the best,Bryan
