Hi, I am having a problem with arming the auto throttle on the above aircraft. I am trying to get to grips with F2Crew but so far have only managed to get to the runway only to find that when I go to ARM the auto throttle it will work sometimes; and othertimes it wont stay ARMed. Can any one suggest what I may be doing wrong? The FMC seems to be setup ok but could the A/T be affected by the Load Manager or Fuel setup?

Gday everyone,When taking off and selecting ICAO B, VNAV departure, passing 400ft I push flaps, which calls for flaps and VNAV, but my FO never does this? Instead he retracts flaps and selects Heading. I know I must be doing something wrong, any ideas??? Brett

A few of you experienced frame rate problems with FS2Crew. After much hair pulling, a user finally figured out the solution (at least on his system). I'll quote his email:"I've found the problem. It was quite by mistake, I was checking my DVD burning settings due to another problem I was having, and found that I didn't have the same IDE settings as was recommended in the FAQ page of the program I am using. The FAQ was talking about primary and secondary IDE items in hardware manager (i.e.burner/DVD drives), and when I checked, I had NONE of these, only my MoBo was listed? I posted this on the forum, and after some back and forward posts, it was suggested (and I did) upda…

Hi everybody, great product! I have only one problem. When I first click on the before taxi checklist, I get the following error on the desktop: creation failed: check if sound file is available. I already uninstalled fs2crew, copied the original aircraft.cfg files, installed the update that allows the pmdg 600-700 virtual cockpit to be clickable then reinstalled fs2crew. Still same error. I happens on both the 700 and 800. I can keep going by cancelling the error then go back into fs and continue clicking the green box for my responses. Any ideas? Christoffer Herner

I did a search on the forums and came up with nothing on this so my apologies if it has already been asked. My problem comes during climb and descent. The autopilot seems to be extremely erratic during these phases. The aircraft always seems to pitch up very far bringing my VS to around 6,500. It isn't as bad on descent but it still wants to act very quirky. The only thing I can think of is that it may have something to do with the trim. No clue what though. Thanks for any help.

Is anyone succesfully running FS2Crew alongside VoxATC?Both programs are complex, and both (according to the reviews and the forums) add greatly to the immersion factor and to the enjoyment of FS2004. But I am just wondering if they can happily coexist side by side in the same flight? Thanks for any comments.Martin Gleeson

Has anyone else had this problem: When i fly normally just with Flight Simulator, no fs2crew, not online with VATSIM etc... My joysticks sensitivty in the 737PMDG is how i like it, not very sensitive, but when i connect FS2crew and start flying with FS2crew my joystick returns super sensitive, (so sensitive that just a slight movement on landing and it totally tilts the plane)?Cheers,Nathanial

For those that want to use FSInn with FS2Crew, you can now download and install the beta version 4 of FSCopilot. All you really want is the FSCopilot.dll to place in your modules folder, the rest is up to you but I have found the full install of Copilot does seem to reduce framerates in general....you can remove it by deleting its folder and keeping the .dll file.Mark.

Hi,I just have a few questions: You know the start consideration buttons on the Engine Start page, do they work? Because if i click them nothing is said. And also, i saw in the FS2crew slideshow that the Co-Pilot calls "Approach lights insight", which type of approach does he do that because i have never had him do that?Cheers,Nathanial

  15. Hello Nathaniel,Double check the Keyboard assignments and make sure they're exactly right. Also, make sure that your SB's text window is not in focus or "active". Best to use voice. What's happening is that to interact with the PMDG, the FO is literally making the "Key Press" associated with lowering or increasing the MCP speed (as defined in the keyboard assignments). That's why they're appearing in the SB text window. All the best,Bryan

Hi Everyone,Just a word of caution for anyone using Sim Control. If you do a service scan of your FS files Sim Control will restorethe original PMDG A/C cfg. files. You will then have to re-installFS2Crew to get it to work again. Experience is a good teacher.

Hey everyone! Long time reader, first time poster. I've been using FS2Crew for some time now, and I can't seem to figure it out. I'll go through the before start checks, etc, but when it comes time to taxi, the plane won't move! I have released the break, N1/N2/EGT/Etc all rises, and the F/O reminds me of breakway thrust, but it won't move! Please help! - Paul

hi Bryanis it possible to undock the flow window to another window on a multiple window setup?also can everything be controlled from the VC with this add on, or do you need to go to 2D mode at some phases of flight, also how much work does the FO do with regard to start up etc, can you make him do most of it, if so what do you as the pilot have to do / know to successfully start the engines and etc all the way to take off.rgds.

I own the PMDG 600/700 and am considering purchasing FS2Crew, but was wondering whether if I purchase the PMDG non-800/900 version, that I could still manually amend panel.cfg's of other freeware 737's e.g. FFX 737-500 etc. so that the programme is not restricted to the PMDG 737.I am aware that there is a version available for purchase for the Default737/others, however as I own the PMDG I presume this should be my choice, but I would like to utilise it with others too, but without paying additionally for another version. I already own and use Flight Deck Companion and am unsure of the added benefit that I would gain from FS2Crew.Regards,Stuart Hyett
