FS2CREW: DEFAULT AND PMDG 737 (FS9)

Please forgive me if these questions have been posted before. I'm very close to purchasing the PMDG 737 version of FS2Crew. Does each flight have to begin from "cold and dark" or can you begin a session, let's say, from "pushback"? I ask because like many who flightsim, time is usually a commodity with work, family, etc. Yet I want to add another level of realism to the experience.Thank you so much.Ed Lin, D.O.S.

Hi, I recently downloaded FS2Crew for PMDG and must say that I am impressed :) !!! I also like the SID/STAR briefing that happens before flight. It would be great if the SID / STAR briefing could be auto generated based on the SID/STAR database of PMDG 737 / AIRAC cycle. As far as I can tell, all these files have specific keywords that could be mapped to voice snippets. Would this be very difficult to do? This way Fs2Crew will be able to brief me on any SID/STAR/IAP and the briefing wouldnt be limited to a small static set.Amod

I purchased FS2Crew for the 600/700, and am now considering upgrading to the 800/900. What do I need to do to make sure FS2Crew works after my upgrade? Do I need to purchase the 800/900 version of FS2Crew, or will my key work with the 800/900 version?Thanks!

I just purchased this software and this has been frustrating to me. I'm not sure if it's a PDMG problem or FS2Crew, but with five tutorial flight attempts from SFO-LAX, and the FMC completely programmed, I lose the ability to "lock-in" the autothrottle. I did read about waiting a few minutes before take-off to arm it, but it just won't stick, even then. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,I purchased and installed FS2Crew default edition for the FS9 default 737.I then went through the included tutorial and completed the flight flawlessly.After that first flight, every time I take off, FS9 goes to a black screen and hangs, and everything crashes.I can have SB3 running or not....using default FS9 weather or not...using a variety of FS9 freeware planes, from the default 737, to other freeware 737s that use the default panel.....nothing changes the problem.Every time I take off, I call for LNAV or HDG, and then usually I get to call for FLAPS. Hi, Having difficulty activating FO prompt to start his Take Off flow which includes PA telling FA's to be seated for departure. I'm arming autothrottle about a minute from the runway and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks Marty

When the FO disconnects the APU, the autothrottle stops working. Am I supposed to fly without autothrottle, or is there a workaround? As it is now i have to manually restart the APU everytime.thanx,Balooba

I am seriously considering purchase of the PMDG version but my FS2004 is running on a separate computer that is not connected to the Internet. I think I read somewhere that I could still download the software here and get E-Mailed a key to setup FS2Crew on a different machine. Please let me know if this is still possible.RegardsRoger

Hey Bryan,I've installed the new PMDG747 & allso the interim update, maybe you've got it yourself by now (so as to be able to use the 737NG again). Now I've noticed that FS2Crew on the PMDG737 doesn't really act the way it did anymore. e.g. instead of setting the aurobrakes (by use of the mini-panel) the throttle panel pops up. I suppose it's because the 747 install erradicated the keyboard commands of the 737. Is there an easy way to fix this or should I re-install in some way.Greets,Jeroen

Thinking of purchasing FS2C, but was wondering...I know from a previous posts that it's possible to use the PMDG NG w/out FS2C, but is it possible to use FS2C, but to not have passengers and the FA?I ask because some times I like to fly touch n goes or test flights as short hops, in which the a/c is not loaded w/ pax.thanks,

I had an OS crash and burn awhile back but didn't reinstall all my previous stuff right away after I formatted. Now I find that on PMDG 737-800/900 with SP1 that FS2Crew is not working like it once was. The dash icons don't work. Most noteably the "C" to bring up the start button. Without your update 1 the drop-down menu was there from the task bar but the icons didn't work on the dash. After applying your update there was no way of starting the sequence. I did get the start-up array when it loads though.Terry

Thank you PMDG and FS2Crew for your awesome products. I can't even begin to tell you how much fun I have with the models and the ulta-detailed realism of the two packages. This is what flight simming is all about!Keep up the great work. I can't wait for the ATR.And because us customers are never satisfied: I want to see real flight plan handouts, metars and fuel slips... and maybe an addon a la FS Passengers and maybe a nicer interface... oh, and voice recognition! come on, it can't be that hard ;-) *smirk*

OK, so I bought the PMDG 737 ages ago and never really flew it that much. The I saw FS2Crew and bought it, but again never really flew with it because I couldn't seem to figure it out. Well, anyway, I sat down with the manual and have got it working finally, and now am completely hooked on the NG. I've even (temporarily) abandoned my precious LDS 767 for the 737. I never realized how much extra realism this kind of thing would add to my flights. Hi, I have had F2crew for about a month and at first it worked fine. However, just recently it has started to crash my system each time I try to load a PMDG aircraft:(. Of course I am not sure whether this is due to F2crew or the PMDG aircraft causing the problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Peter

HI all, On reaching the runway and getting ready for T/O, I applied the F/D switch and then tried to arm the autothrottle only to get a flashing light on the annunicator panel to say A/T disconnected. I checked the FMC only to find this message: "Time Error tolernace" under ACT PERF LIMITS (PAGE 2) Any ideas of how to fix this? I have had F2crew for nearly two weeks now and am getting very fustrated as the passengers keep having to disenbark :). Thanks in advance Pete

For some reason, the F/O in my PMDG737 is not setting the autobrakes. I have to set them myself even though he is supposed to set them. I have the proper keys set, so what could be wrong?Thanks,
