  1. Started by DAL488,

Folks:When I execute a MAP (assume after a precision ILS appr.) do I just push the red-outlined MAP button or do I also need to push the TO/GA button on the panel? If the answer is "just the MAP button" then how do I select a Reduced Thrust GA which s typically done by pushing TO/GA twice?Lovin' it so far! Practiced appr. ands MAPs for 2 hours last night!!Thnx,James

Hi crew of FS2Crew :)I'm having a problem with the program after installation.Installation via the Flight1 wrapper proceeds smoothly. However, when I fire up FS9 (after having selected the cold & dark startup option), the 737NG loads BUT the little windows of FS2Crew do not close on their own. In addition the battery switch on the overhead panel is inoperative.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.Pertinent hardware and software info follows:Asus P4P800, P4/3.2, 1GB 3200ram, ATI X800Pro(256MB), Soundblaster Audigy2, 60GB Maxtor (partitioned), 40GB Seagate, 200GB Seagate S-ATAWinXP Home (SP1), FS9, FSUIPC (registered 3.4), Activesky2004.5, FSBuild2 and …

Hi all:I was eagerly awaiting the release of FS2Crew. It promises to be a great add on. Unfortunately,I am having a "slight" problem:-zhelp I load up the Cessna Flight, shut down the mixture, turn off the master and off with the mags. I then load the 737 -800/900 2d Cockpit. All the FS2Crew panels briefly flash before me(good)....Then I try to configure flight by clicking the "C" button above left MFD, and voila! Nothing happens!!!! The the only button that works is the "A" button which tells me I have given control to the FO...Am I doing something wrong here? I really do not want to have to unintstall this, but may have to if I cannot get this software to work....Thanks i…

  4. Hi,Following the Ops Manuals, I should assign keys to PMDG commands menu. For Autobrake Increase Pos, and Decrease Pos stuff.. when I'm asked to set CTRL+SHIFT+6 , PMDG detects [ CTRL ]+[ SHIFT ]+[ - ] , however my scroll lock is set ON or OFF, because I first tried the 6 above the letters and the - character is the default one, and I must use SHIFT to get a 6. But in PMDG menu, it doesn't detect a 6. Then if I try the same, pushing CTRL+SHIFT+6 but with the 6 key from my numbers pad, then PMDG finally detects [ CTRL ]+[ 6(KEYPAD) ]. I don't have the [ SHIFT ] detected :(Well, it seems like I won't be able to get from this the accurate settings keys registered as required …

Hiya.My appologies for coming with suggestions before this program is even launched but I got this idea this very windy morning. It would be neat to have the F/O call out the crosswind factor at certain heights during short final as a selectable option. The info can be seen in the FMC so it should be possible to extract it somehow (not being a programmer I have endless faith in what can be done, lol).As I can imagine that this kind of feature would need a lot of wav-files it would perhaps be better with a few warnings such as "Crosswind near limit" and "Crosswind above limit".Just an idea.

This looks like an interesting product but my computer has enough trouble just running the 737ng as it is. Any chance the product will run on a second computer via WideFS? ThanksDavid

Hello Bryan,I think that this is going to be one of the "most wanted" add-ons for FS9. I wonder whether Microsoft had ANY idea how hugely Flight Simulator would snowball! I am constantly amazed by the variety, originality and quality of all the add ons available be they payware or freeware. "Bravo!", to all you developers out there. :-beerchugSince I'm also waiting for the new version of Radar Contact I was wondering if FS2Crew will be able to interact with it. Also, do you have any plans on developing FS2Crew for PMDG's upcoming 747 and/or MD-11?Cheers,TonyP.S. If you ever need any voices from this little corner of the world (Greece) don't hesitate to let me know. I…

  12. Gentlemen,To give you a better sense of what FS2Crew is all about, I'm going to briefly demonstrate what is involved in shooting a Precision Approach using FS2Crew's Monitored Approach Procedures.Monitored Approach Procedures are used when the landing visibility or RVR is very low and they're designed to help the flight crew focus on their specific tasks. What makes Monitored Approach Procedures unique is that the Captain and FO essentially switch roles. In FS2Crew, you -the Captain- are typically the Pilot Flying (PF), and the FO is the Pilot Monitoring (PM). But during a Monitored Approach, the Captain becomes the PM and the FO becomes the PF. The FO essentially flie…
