Hello Jason... you mean the PSS Concorde? I've never heard of Koch Media. As for future products, I can't really comment. There are a million addon aircraft out there worth doing, so it's a pretty tough decision.I may start an official thread on this subject soon.Cheers,Bryah

Hello Stephane,First, anyone out there with hardware like Stephane's have this problem?I don't own any Flightsim Hardware, so it's impossible for me to comment based on first hand knowledge. Are you using a French keyboard Stephane? A French user had a similar problem entering key assignments with the PMDG, and I rectified it by giving him a copy of my keyboard ini file. Please email me at: [email protected] your other MCP problems, I suspect your MCP may somehow be overriding FS2Crew inputs. Again, without seeing your setup first hand it's hard to say.Can you temporarily disable the hardware and see what happens then? All the best,Bryan

Thank you for the kind words Werner,I don't own Flight Assistant, but I'll see what I can do about adding that kind of capability in future versions/updates. No promises though. My slate is pretty full as it is!Cheers,Bryan

Hi Phil,Make sure you follow the instruction to always start with the default Cessna and THEN load the PMDG a/c, might solve your problem if you haven't already tried this.Cheers,

Look at the "Legs" page on your FMC.FS2004 doesn't model sloped runways, etc., so you can just use the figure beside RWxx". You of course need to enter your landing runway first. That's what I do if I don't have charts handy.Cheers,Bryan

Hello Joe,You can actually "alais" the 700's panel to the 800 via a very simple panel.cfg entry in the 700.I don't have the required steps right in front of me. Just do a "search" under the term "alias" in this forum and you'll find it.All the best,Bryan

Hey Richard,Good questions there.1. In the real aircraft there are two FD switches and depending on whom is in command they are turned on in a set order to decided which side is considered master (That small MA light above has got a use after all). In FS you turn yours on when setting up your flight instruments.2. No, they should be turned back to OFF in the after take off flow by the eff oh. They are only turned on in flight if you encounter heavy precipitation (and perhaps icing but I'm not sure on that one).3. You control the taxi lights, turnoff lights and landing lights. You also work the nav and logo lights.4. Yes, switch them on (along with the logo lights at night…

Hello,The key assignments shouldn't be a problem because there would be no point in assigning them to external hardware. Why?Because the keypresses I added are for the FO's use, not yours. That way he can automatically control certain functions on the plane as per his flows and other duties.Just make sure your PMDG keypresses match up with the manual and you'll be ok.Remember, the keypresses are for the FO, not you.Cheers,Bryan

Hello,You need to install PMDG Service Update #1 for the 800/900 prior to installing FS2Crew.That'll solve your problem. All hte best,Bryan

Hi Ingo,You are correct, the FO will make sure the start levers are in cutoff position during the recieving flow.Does the captain turn them back on before starting the engines? No not before, he uses them to start the engines. Here is some info about the start sequence:Position engine start lever to IDLE detent when:

Not realistic I'm afraid, so no PA annoucements will be included (at least the way you typically think of them). Why? They can't be heard "directly" from the flight deck with the door closed. One of my friends sits left seat on the NG, and I specifically asked him this very question. What I may do however is give you the option to simulate "listening in" on the FA's safety brief via the cockpit speakers so you know when the FAs are done talking. That's something you could turn on and off.-Bryan

  17. Started by byork,

Greg,Glad you like the program. You can record over the existing briefs if you want.Trouble is though your voice won't match the other recordings in FS2Crew, so it'll sound pretty funny and out of place.Perhaps if you think of yourself as doing a "voice cameo" on the fight deck as the "Mystery Briefer" that could work Cheers,Bryan

Hello Andrew,FS2Crew doesn't touch the Cessna, so I can't comment about why your Cessna 2D panel doesn't work.Did you attempt to install FS2Crew on a computer different than the one you unwrapped in via the Flight1 wrapper?Did you recently intall any other programs?Cheers,Bryan

Hello Mike,The only changes to the panel.cfg files are that it incorporates the Dual Monitor fix which was made available a couple days after FS2Crew was initially released. There is also one other little change: The position of the CPAL icons have been changed, but if you like were the CPAL icons are now then that shouldn't be a concern for you.The Update installer will overwrite your existing panel.cfg file.I suggest you backup your custom panel.cfg file, run the Update program, then copy your custom panel.cfg file over the update panel.cfg file if you want to do it that way.Otherwise you can just do a simple "copy and paste" job with your custom panel.cfg entries and ad…

  20. Hello AJ,Doesn't Ready for Pushback already come packaged with a modified version of S-Combo or Flight Deck Companion?I believe it does. The trouble for me is a lot of RFP users will say they don't need FS2Crew because RFP comes with the two programs mentioned above (even though FS2Crew and the above programs are very very different).Make sense? All the best,Bryan

Hello Steve,What's your been your longest flight and at what cruise altitude? You should at least be getting one more from the FA asking you if you can expect an on-time arrival.Has everyone else been getting the "On-Time Arrival" FA conversation???Please chime in if yes so I don't have to go trudging through code. Also, there is a random chance you'll get a sick passenger.Other people have reported experiencing those, so I know they work for sure.-Bryan

  22. Started by byork,

Hello Ole,In cruise, when you hand control over to the FO by hitting the "A" button on the CPAL icon, all that will happen is that the FO will engage Autopilot B.That's all he'll do. The FO doesn't answer FA calls. You can leave the computer with the FO flying the plane so long as you're in cruise and not close to the TOD. The FO obviously cannot reply to any ATC calls. When the FA calls you, she won't say anything till you hit the Blue Call lights, so if you have to step away from your computer you won't miss anything.Cheers,Bryan

Hi,You can always use Etienne's (SP?) pushback gauge or even the default one. With the PMDG key commands turning the aircraft with the default FS push back system is much more reliable. You can even do this after the use of the FS2Crew pushback or even in place of it. On the tutorial flight I started at a gate, had to push back about a plane lenght, turn 45

Hello Jeff,Hmmmm. When you load the PMDG, all the FS2Crew "Pages" should momentarily flash on the screen.Did that happen? When you hit the 'C' button on the CPAL icon are you telling me that all that appears is a empty black box? What kind of video card are you running?Try re-installing Service Update #1.Did you let everything install to the default location on c:?-Bryan
