Jason,My words exactly! It really makes you try and fly by the book. I had a sense of achievement yesterday, when I finally got through a full flight. I really hope this is going to bee a success, I'd like to see it on the Flight1 ATR 72-500 as well - What about very complex aircraft like the Request for Pushback 742, CaptainsSim's 707 - etc. Well time will show - I'm really enjoying my self. Now I'm off to try it on my own (No tutorial flight). Thanks for a wonderful product.

Hello Scott,Most definately, you're more than free to use the rudders or ailerons as necessary during the takeoff even though you're the PM in FS2Crew. Nothing bad will happen. Just pretend the FO is having a bad day and you're stepping in to help him out.During an FO Takeoff in FS2Crew, the FO only controls the pitch axis (nose up - nose down).I tried various methods to get him to track the centerline using the localizer as a reference, but I couldn't program him to hold the centerline very well. He kept swerving back and forth. So until I figure out a way to get him to hold the centerline properly in an x-wind, you'll have to help keep him going straight down the runw…

Anyone care to comment?I just shut the Cessna down using the method I described in the manual. It's takes an extra 20 seconds work to do, but at least I can be assured that I won't have to manually close all the pop-up pages when I go to load the PMDG.All the best,Bryan

Terry,Would you mind telling me how you went about doing that? What precise steps did you take?Let me know and I should be able to tell you based on that if everything will work ok.Cheers,Bryan

Hi Christian,no, at the moment FS2CREW doesn't support any other aircraft than the PMDG737-800/900 and maybe in parts the 600/700, too. There are plans to expand the products range to other types of aircraft but nothing in detail about that... . Bryan is in bed now so let's wait till tomorrow to see what he states about that problem.

Hi Jack, you should have set the correct keystroke combination for Autobrake Increase (CTRL+SHIFT+6) and Decrease (CTRL+SHIFT+7) in the PMDG Menu as it is written in the Keyboard Assignments.pdf manual.

Hello Chris,I'm very happy to hear all is going perfect for you!!!!That makes my day.Answers:1. 15 Mins sectors. Yeah, I'm located in Asia and those little 15 minute hops aren't uncommon over on this side of the drink either. I can think of the Jeju Island to Gwangju or Pusan trip as being one of them. I'll add 15 and 30 min options to the Update for you.2. Load Sheet, FP, Fuel, all generic. A dynamic fuel sheet is being considered.Cheers,Bryan

Hello Christian,Are you using two monitors?A few people have reported this problem and we're still trying to track it down. Why it only happens to some people and not others is still a mystery at this point. In the meantime, I suggest you use the "2D cockpit only" PMDG model. Don't load the ones with the VC or VC and Cabin.Let me know if the problem goes away for you.Cheers,Bryan

Hello Aaron,I know exactly what the problem is.Did you try to install FS2Crew on Win2000 or 98?The other possibility is that you tried to install FS2Crew on a machine other than the one you unwrapped it on.Pls email at: [email protected] Talk to you soon,Bryan

Thank you Randy.I'm flattered, what more can I say?Cheers!-Bryan

You're very welcome George!I'm happy to hear that you like it!!Cheers,Bryan

Hello David,Don't hold me 100 percent to this, but changing the FS2004 default keyboard assignments (not the PMDG ones) shouldn't effect FS2Crew.FS2Crew only simulates keypresses to interect with the PMDG switches that have an associated PMDG Key Press assigned to it. That's the only way to control them.FS2Crew doesn't need to simulate keypresses for the PMDG switches controlled by MS default events (ie., lights, landing gear, etc).FS2Crew controls them directly.Cheers,Bryan

Hi Eric, you can use the program and the fix also if you are running single-monitor system only and flying from the vc, but it is VERY important that you follow the steps explained in the manual to load the aircraft: You have to load the default cessna first, then shut off the engine, turn off both battery switches but leave the avionics master on! Don't use any pre-defined cold&dark standart situation as this won't work (I tried it). You really have to go the way explained above. So, first of all load the cessna, perform the steps above and transfer to your departure airport PRIOR switching to the PMDG as this may cause great problems. It is also better to load the PM…

Hi "nameless" (->please post real name),you are sure you selected an ICAO B, Flaps 5, VNAV departure on the briefing page? At 400ft you should select a roll mode like HDG or LNAV and during an ICAO B, Flaps 5, VNAV departure push the flaps button passing 1000ft to select VNAV and Flaps 1. Did you use the flaps button "slowly and deliberatly" as advised in the manuals? Please look at section 16 page 5 again and check you are doing every thing like it is written down in the manuals. Don't have another answer for you, if it doesn't work we will have to wait for Bryans response...;-).

Hi Andy, you can find the procedures of ICAO A and ICAO B and how they are flown in the profiles manual and the sprague manual... .I think, the ICAO B departure is used under more strict noise abatement procedures as you have to level off very early at 1000ft to reduce to CLB Thrust which is more quiet. On an ICAO A departure you fly with takeoff power and much noise up to 3000ft before really reducing thrust, but don't really know... ;-). And what you say also makes sense :-).

Additionally, after much patient testing and trying to get the system to work. As soon as I get the countdown to zero the flight attendant enters the flight deck and asks if she can close the cabin door. The message dissapears from the screen so U load it back in, but as soon as I click the green box, FS2K4 crashes and closes - Everytime.Urgent help now requested!ThanksWG

Hi Joe,You are sure you selected an ICAO B, Flaps 5, VNAV departure on the briefing page? At 400ft you should select a roll mode like HDG or LNAV and during an ICAO B, Flaps 5, VNAV departure push the flaps button passing 1000ft to select VNAV and Flaps 1. Then, when reaching the green up marker on the PFD speedtape click the FLAPS button again to call for "flaps up, after takeoff checklist". Did you use the flaps button "slowly and deliberatly" as advised in the manuals? Please look at section 16 page 5 in the tutorial again and check you are doing every thing like it is written down in the manuals as a wrong use may lead to your problems. Hello James,It's easy. Just don't click "Start" on the Config page. The ATIS printout is generic. FYI, the one for Boston was taken off a flight deck printer. It's the Real McCoy, as are the other flight deck printer print-outs. The fuel slip is even real, too. American accents in France: FS2Crew includes French Accents, among other world accents. The geographic area that the triggers the French Accent for France is defined by Lat/Long coordinates.Given that Europe's borders are anything but square, there is always the chance that your airport could fall out of the defined Lat/Lon area for French Accents. In that cause you'll get the default US accent. If you want to te…
