Hello Anthony,How are your packs and bleeds configured before Engine Start? When you start FS2Crew, ensure the APU is ON (APU generators, too). The Packs and Isol Valve should be in AUTO.The engine bleeds should be off, and the APU bleed should be On.Leave them configured that way.If you don't configure it that way, the FO will move switches incorrectly.Let me know what happens.Cheers,Bryan

Hello Heath,Unfortunately FS ATC isn't really all that great when it comes a few things.I might suggest you use the Generic Briefs. See the Briefing Codes Manual.Cheers,Bryan

Hello Sandy,I know what you mean. I originally wanted to do what you suggested. The amount of fuel the Captain says is on board is "generic".Reading the amount of fuel on board is easy. However, the hard part is recording a different "wav file" for each and every possible fuel quantity... that would involve recordings "hundreds" of .wav files and then coding each one individually in.Perhaps in the future a text-to-voice generator will be devised that actually sounds 100 percent human and life-like.Then we can do these kinds of thing easily. Let's hope it happens soon.Cheers,Bryan

Hi Marc,I thought about it, but found controlling the plane too difficult. So I scrapped the idea.-Bryan

Hello Bert,1. Ask China Air, it's how it's done there :-) I think it might have something to do with keeping the FAs in the loop so they can better time their service.2. Let me look closer at number 2. Cheers,Bryan

Hello Rakham,There is no absolute right or wrong time to start programming the FMC during your Receiving flow.Take a look at the Flows and Checklist manual, I think something may be mentioned there.Regarding: FS9ATC, yes, you can use the two together if you like.Cheers,Bryan

Hello Daniel,Looks to me like your download got corrupted.I suggest downloading FS2Crew again. To make extra sure the download doesn't get corrupted when downloading, I suggest using the Flight1 Download Tool.Cheers,Bryan

As you have to switch off all the necessary switches during the termination checklist you can just start a new flight using the FS2CREW config page and it will be treated like a thru flight, so the FO won't check the oxygen again etc. No problems there... .

I'd give it 20-25 minutes just to be safe, especially if this is your first time. Just be sure to read the manuals first. Otherwise you will become quite frustrated. Once you get comfortable you can squeeze the time down to 15 minutes or so. However, keep in mind that this depends upon your flight plan and personal practices. IF you have a long, complicated flight plan and intend to enter it manually into the FMC, then you might want to build in some extra time. THe same gose for flight planning in general, if you want some extra time to look over you charts and plan your route, then build it in. Of course, you could do this before you start MSFS, but it is kind of…

Hello Simon,FS2Crew does not write to (or read) any PMDG 737 FMC items, so FS2Crew is not the culprit on this one.No one else has reported it, and I've never experienced it, so the probem must be local on your machine. Are you sure you entered the Flap Setting on the Takeoff Page?If you don't enter the flap setting, V1, VR, V2 will not autofill.Cheers,Bryan

Good Catch Glen!I just checked it out. It's associated with the 2D panel.cfg. The VC panel.cfg is okay. The issue is in this section:[Window02] // PMDG_ZOOM_PANELgauge15=fs2crewpmdg737crewIcon!crewIcon, 154,580,74,18Change the numbers in this line to:gauge15=fs2crewpmdg737crewIcon!crewIcon, 545, 926, 74, 18Remember, this is for 2D panel.cfg only (panel.cfg in the main 800 'panel' folder, ZOOM Panel section only). You only need to make this change if you use the Zoom panel in the 2D cockpit model only, and if it bothers you that the CPAL icon is not visible in that panel. I suspect this will only be an issue for a minority of users. Most won't need to bother making this very…

Hi,There are already people who are trying to do just that. I wish them well. However, how well it will work in reality is the big "If" once you factor in server lag, and a whole host of other very complex issues. It's a fantastic idea "in theory," but...I can see it possibly working ok perhaps with people who are using the default MSFS aircraft... but who wants to use those? Well, maybe it'd be fun for VFR sightseeing in the Cessna or something...However, quality aicraft like the PMDG, Dreamfleet, and PSS stuff all use variables that are not publicly available and tightly gaurded. That's why I had to to use the "mouse click" method to get the FO to do his thing. It's…

Hi, first, please sign your name so I know who I'm talking to. Thanks!Second, what happened is that you forgot to select either your Flap, ICAO or Automation Mode (AM) in the Departure Brief. If you forget to select either of those three items, the FLAPS button on the Takeoff Page will not function properly.Cheers,Bryan

Here's the simple explanation:ON LINE ATC = "NO".... The FO will request pushback clearance during his Before Start flow.ON LINE ATC = "YES" .... The FO will *not* request pushback clearance. If you're departing from a parking spot and don't require pushback services, I suggest you select ON LINE ATC to "YES" even though you may not be using VATSIM, etc. Why?Because you don't need to request pushback clearance if you don't require a pushback! It would sound silly to have the FO request it.In short, the only difference between "YES" and "NO" is the audio of the FO requesting pushback clearance -that's it. In other words, a small bit of dialogue. There are no other effects…
