Hi Terry,Since you are one of the few who comprehend the IFLY system (or so I hope) i was wondering if i could ask for some help with adding an airport and a few approaches. I am quite fluent in the language of lat/long and alt as I am a pilot in real life. I also do cfg and panel editing. I am quick to learn and know data manipulation. I already managed to get one of the airports I need into the database but I am having problems with the runways. primarily,CJY233 "04000014" 75.385124 -96.920380000".0001400232" the sections in quotes. the code after the airport/runway identifier and the second decimal place after that. Hi all.Below is a section from 0803 KSEA, what is missing is the MGNUM waypoint between ERYKA and ANVIL. This only affects the ILS and not the LOC or other sections for 16C.ie PAE ERYKA MGNUM ANVIL etcat the moment my app reads PAE ERYKA ANVIL etcIs this something that you can add or is there a reason it is not added here? I could add this myself but when I upload a beta of my app that uses this data then any user would have to manually add it too.I take it that there is no need to identify the FAF within these procedure files? ie SODOE is FAF in this case. Hi all,Ever since I installed the latest set of terminal procedures for the Flight1 ATR FS9 has been crashing when I try to enter an airport included in the new TPs into the FMC. Does anyone know what is causing this and more importantly how to remedy it?I'm using the Flight1 ATR with SP3 and the latest PlanePath 0803 procedures, installed normally with the .exe included.Thanks in advance for any help.Dave

Hi everyone, I just discovered planepath and i think its absolutely wonderful. I was wondering if the same PMDG tutorial applied to the IFly. Thank a bunch for the wonderful files!EDIT: Also what program are you using to make the procedures? i opened the fies in note pad and saw the name, lat/long etc but it look like overly difficult. Terry,I am not sure if you have heard or not but Clutch 9 group is about to release Kai Tak, Hong Kong for FS9 as freeware. They have really outdone themselves on this scenery project making all the surrounding buildings and such ( http://www.milehighproductions.cwhnetworks.com/ ).I was wondering if you could possibly add Kai Tak's ICAO code, VHXX along with at least trunway 13 and the IGS 13 approach into the PSS navdata for us? Hey Terry!I've got a quick question and an error to report. With the latest AIRAC for the LevelD 76 in FSX, I've found that altitudes are not inserted with the Terminal Procedure data. It leads to a lack of decent information displayed on the FMC and no Top Of Decent is shown.Now, for the question, with your AIRAC data, do you keep backups, such as other cycles. I've been flying with the 0710 cycle and it was just perfect, maybe any way to get that as a permanent backup?____________________________________-Ryan Hall

Hi all.I've finally got the 0711 terminal procedures up on my site. Thanks to the donations of a few people I was able to get the FAA NFD data subscription for a year. I apologize for missing the 0711 cycle due date but I had a lot of programming to do. The NFD uses 5 more leg types than the USFIF did so I not only had to write and debug an NFD conversion program but I had to update and debug 10 more programs that actually turn the master data into the various formats of your aircraft. Use these procedures as a beta run. You might find errors or weird courses caused by the new leg types. Please report these to me so I can hopefully fix them.The NFD has one big flaw though…

I'm having problems with Navdata 0612 for ATR. When flying my F1 ATR from any airport in Korea I can not get the sid or stars to link to a rwy. The FMS will display both sid/star & rwy together, but as soon as I select a rwy, the sid/stars option disappears. If I select sid/star the rwys option disappears. What can be wrong? I have several airports that are fictional. These were created in AFCAD but the PMDG FMC does not recognize them. Creating a procedure page and writing procedures for these airports did not work. The FMC gives a "Not in Database" response when you try to load the new airport in the route page. Thus far I have been able to glean that the airport probably has to be added to the FMCWP/NavData in the game itself. I have attempted to add the airport to the following files: wpNavAPT, wpNavAID. I suspect that some modification of the airports.dat file must be completed. Anyone have any clue how to open and work within that dat file? Or am I even on the right track here? …

Hi all. I have some bad news for those that don't know about it. The USFIF will be taken off of public access as of 1 Oct 2007. Since there is no other source of free data for the US I will be forced to stop providing monthly terminal procedure updates once that happens. The NATS data, however, will still be available so I am deciding whether or not to continue with those terminal procedures as there are others who are providing the major airport over there, at least for the PMDG aircraft anyway.Some good news though. I can buy the US data but it costs $168 a year. I gave thought to that but I have been already absorbing the cost of the web site at over $150 a year and be…

Hello All!First off let me thank Terry for all of his hard work and dedication he has put into this community, and furthing the realism of flight sim.I currently have a small dilemma on my hands. I own the Wilco CRJ-200/700/900, the PSS 757, the PMDG 737, and the Maddog 2006. All of these aircraft are experiencing a CTD due to the FMS or CDU. The problem is triggered by different things based on the type of aircraft. On the Wilco CRJ it's the DEP/ARR page key. On the PSS 757 it's the CRZ ALT or Cost Index boxes. Or it could be just the intialization of the IRS itself to cause it to lock up. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall all of the aircraft mentioned above, and t…

Terry,First off, I'd like to express my appreciation for your work. It's good to see someone who is willing to sacrifice of themselves for others.Now my problem. :-)I updated my Wilco CRJ navdata with the 0704 cycle from Navigraph. I then updated my procedures using the CRJ file from your website. When pressing the DEP/ARR key on the CRJ FMC, my screen would go blank, and then I would get a CTD. This happens with the 200, 700, and 900 series.When I revert my procedures back to the ones in your beta file here on Avsim, the CTD goes away, and I can select departures and arrivals once again. Is there any light that you could shed on what is happening here? Thanks!

It is still unclear to me in which sequence the FMC searches for a FIX/NAVAID.Does it first search in the Fixes section and subsequently in the AIRAC database or vice versa?Further could you confirm that when determining the "correct" Navaid between duplicate IDs in the AIRAC, it simply selects the one closest to the Airport in question?RegardsStephen

Does anyone know where I can get the procedures file cycle 0608 for PMDG (or any other old cycles)? Yes I know these are very old but I want consistency with the the last AIRAC I have which is 0608.

I posted this in the PMDG forum but was advised to request help here.I have loaded up the latest EGKK SID's from Planepath in to my PMDG 737-800 and have selected the LAM4M sid from runway 26L. I can see the first fix (IWW2.3) in the FMS Plan screen but the magenta line does not fly over it. The IWW2.3 is the first turn point after takeoff but the aircraft follows the maganta line and turns too early. I have LNav selected and the autopilot in command mode. Any ideas why its not waiting for the IWW2.3 fix before it turns to the right. It can't be following the HDG bug because this is set to 260.I'm also having the same problem with the latest Navdata SIDGlen
