Hi TerryThanks for your good work on the iFLY 747. I just loaded the terminal procedures and find that the SID speed entrys are missing off the FMC flightplan legs page. I checked the original SID example and that that loads all the speeds OK. Not sure what's missing but you can't use VNAV with speed hold till reaching cruise level where the speed fields are entered.

HelloTaking SBRJ as an example, is it correct to say that an FMC, as capable as it is on say a 737-7/800 etc. series (take the PMDG version as an fs example), can take you to the end of a STAR and that such approaches to touch down are then down to basic raw data flying using NDB/DME etc. combined with V/S or FPA functions ?or, can an FMCs be programmed with such DME/NDB approaches, if yes do any FS add-on support this type of approach? Thanks, anyone, for your help to clarify/understandjlm

Hi all,I was wondering if I could solve this problem. I have installed many new sceneries from Aerosoft and FLYTAMPA, and the problem is following the ATC directions when taxiing. When I taxi sometimes with any aircraft, I will obtain incorrect instructions for taxiing, especially with the new products and I don't know why. I understand how to taxi well using the Alpha Beta Cuba language and how to interpret the taxiways, however it seems that this is wrong in FS.There are times when I taxi, and after writing down the taxii instructions, I try following them, but they take me to wrong taxiways but to the right runways. At the end I get there because I decide to take any ta…

Hi Terry,Is it possible to place multiple RNW entries in an approach in the same way as one does in a SID? Failing that, is it possible to have an approach WITHOUT a RNW defined at all?I'm trying to write a procedure for the KPDX VOR-A approach, but I'm sure the technique would be the same for all lettered approaches. At PDX I can use RNW 21 since the approach would come in to that threshold, but at other airports there may not be a runway threshold in line - often it's the VOR colocated at the field. The other problem I'm trying to code is an approach where the Missed Approach Point is well before the airport - there's one at KSFO and there are others. Basically the wa…

Hello!I have an old (0608 cycle) PMDG TP set which contains approaches for my home airport VABB. Now, these days I am flying the iFly 747 for which the download from www.planepath.com do not contain any approach data for VABB.Is there any way I can easily convert from PMDG sidstar -> iFLY sid/star/app files? I know the documentation is out there, but in case there is an utility to help, I would really appreciate it.Thanks,Arvind.

Terry,I have to add two approaches to KIGM.Before starting I checked the current .xml in the Level-D.I cycled the current approach (PAR03) in the Level-D FMSand the runway waypoint (RW03)is some distance fromthe airport symbol on the EHSI display. The procedure is cycle 0810.I think this may be an older KIGM.xml LAT/LON for RW03.Also the approach name is PAR03.But The FAA plate I downloaded is named GPS03??I do not know, maybe the name and lat/lon is not current?****<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>** Runway 03 sectionRW03Runway35.194225-114.017861034490at

KLAX.xml Cycle 0810I found e.g.:ILS06LMissing main appr waypoint NATHN and the hold is at POM and should be AMTRA.KOYEV could possibly be used instead of radial intercept.ILS24's are missing many approach transitions/waypoints.Looks like the FAA made many changes this time?I think the entire xml needs a review.

When I open the XML procedure file for VHHX there doesn

Hi Terry,First off, thanks for all you do, keeping up with the TPs and all. Thanks especially for keeping it free. I'm writing to ask if you would give me permission to upload the TPs for the LVLD 767, ATR72, and PMDG, cycle 0613 from 2006, to the AVSIM Library? This cycle matches up with the last free AIRAC released, also available in the AVSIM library. There are many folks, I believe, that don't update their navdata. As I'm sure you're aware, having different dates on the AIRAC and TPs can cause issues. If these are already available and I missed them, I apologize for taking your time.Best Regards,Jeff

Hello,After a FS9 reinstall, I reinstalled the LevelD 767 and then AIRAC 0801. Followed by that I got your 0801 Terminal Procedures..Whenever I go in my FMC, no airport has SIDs and STARs. All the files are in the correct spot, but the FMC is not picking them up. I have recently just tried AIRAC 0802 and your new set...No luck..I also tried a package from navadata.at and still no luck...Do you have any ideas or suggestions?ThanksJohnny Ginley, WWA1559LevelD 767 Captainwww.flywestwind.com

Terry,First of all a big thanks for all that you do to enrich our simming experience with your work. I have been a happy user of your data for as long as you've made it available. Having said that, I was wondering if you could take a look at the data for EGLL. Myself and two of my friends flew from EGLL to VHHH in the new PMDG 744F and when we started up at EGLL, it gave a runway error code 5 after loading the flight plan. We all had 27L programmed as part of the flight plan through FSBuild. Anyway, after loading, we got the error but continued on as the ND showed the runway anyway. We also noticed that there were no SIDs available to us from the ARR/DEP page of the…

This is the first "fix" given in the most used (flightaware.com) flight plans between KMCO (Orlando FL) and KHOU (Hobby): FMYDT PIE REMIS Q100 LEV MHF1. I can't figure out what it is, it is not a fix according the airnav database and it's not a DP for KMCO (I've got all those). The flight paths depart SW from the airport and then turn W towards the PIE VOR. Anyone know or have a clue?
