Hi,I have had this behaviour for a while now: everytime I start ASV, I have a installer windows that opens up for some reason. I have to cancel a few times a message box. After that, I can use ASV without any problems, but I have this bizarre behaviour on startup.Any help?Regards,Francois

I've been playing around a bit and understand most of it but am still a bit unsure how ASVE interacts with FS9 re: depicting weather.Best explained by an example I think :I have local suppression set to 50nm in ASVE and online mode enabled. I have cloud draw distance in FS9 weather display options set to 40nm.Now I take off from local airport (no flight plan loaded in ASVE) say YMEN (Essendon airport, Melbourne, Australia). Hi,I had to reinstall FS9 yesterday and this morning I reisntalled ASV then ASV enhanced, put Imagetool in ASVActive Enciroment folder and run the program, everything ok until I tried to convert clouds to dxt. It gives me a message saying that imagetool is not there, but it is!!! I've been sccratching my head for the past 2 hours and can not understand why is doing this.Any suggestions please?ThanksAbraham

I've seen the answer to this somewhere but can't find it ...I get the subject error when I start ActiveSky, regardless of whether I start FS9 before I start ActiveSky or after. What can I do to get ActiveSky talking to FS9?Appreciate any help,Tom

Just thought I would warn everyone about this. Did a windows update yesterday and after the download of their montly malware remover my chillkatzip2.dll file was gone.Simply rerun the ASVE update and choose repair to fix this.JT

No intentions here to criticize this great product, but I noticed ASV weather reports update is usually delayed 15 or 30 minutes (sometimes even more) with respect to IVAO (or VATSIM) weather. I know IVAO doesn't allow ASV to access their weather database :(, that said, there is an explanation to this lag?Marco

Found a small problem with the log files.It looks like ASV is clearing the ASV.log file at each startup, BUT it keeps writing to as2004.log This will make that file really huge after a while as it is never cleared.JT

Hello,Since this morning I receive an error popup "ASV Error on submit FS Folder Target CProgram filesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9 [ok]" when ASV is Generating Active Radar Data .As I do NOT use Active Radar I deleted all the the dlls except the activeradarconnector.exe .I did install AISmooth 1.12 ....but I do not see the relation with that installation.I did never had this popup before.Any recommendation?Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am looking at adding FScene to FS9. I've recently added ASV. Does the addition of FScene override the ASV ground textures? Secondly, is there anyone out there who has FScene and what is your impression? Are there any special considerations to keep in mind before adding FScene? I recently purchase Active Sky for FS9, the ver. I have been running FS9 (737 PMDG aircraft) and Sqkbox3 together for 6 months now with no problems. The sad part is, ever since I bought Active Sky a week ago, my FS9 closes/crashes in the middle of the flight. I end up in my windows with Sqkbox3 and ASV open only.I have 3.5 FSUIPC (free ver, no reg key) and have set up the display for weather in FS9 as stated in the read me.I don't get it, I can install, open, and run all these programs for 1-2 hrs perfectly, but all of a sudden it crashes! Hi guys1st off the enhancement seems to have added alot of stuff, honestly i haven't played with every option yet but noticed my flights being more realistc. I think the route temp option helped my speed be consistent throughout my whole flight where as before i had sudden changes in my airspeed.Also wind changes seems more realistic, though i do have a question, i always noticed problems over the atlantic but since the enhancement i haven't flown over that pond so don't know if its a pacific or atlantic difference or ASV and then the enhancement that cured the problem. Hi Jim,Perhaps you can help. For a, to me, not apparent reason I once of a sudden can't process any imported flightplans any more. After I imported a flightplan and hit the Process button I now get a "Error during process" message. I'm using the latest build, #367, and up to now all have been working great. Hi,When all, clouds get streached verticaly in your screen: It's related to the (AreaModel spherical earth in Msfs) not metar, Fs2004 engine rendering have bugs with clouds gets worse the further North or South you go, ALL clouds, cumulus familly, stratus, CB, ANVIL, get stretched. No matter what's metar, the clouds will always remain stretched in your flight a these area. Problem in sceneryrunways as well will appears, there is problem at these area. Sadly the only solution to avoid this issue, you will have to fly others area.
