I have experienced clouds that are at some orange color I find unnatural. Time was dusk. I attache a screenshoot. I can think of part of the sky having this color but not the clouds

I wonder whether the option "Use update suppression" will also supresses the wake turbulence effect during landing. I have had two nasy surprises during landing when, just before touchdown, my aircraft violently went up, and down again. I like the effect, but it ruins an otherwise perfect approach.Thanks for the help,Allard.

Hi Damian/Jim,Ever since I installed SU2 for AS6 writing of weather station data after downloading it takes ages. When flying from KORD to CYWG it takes about 10 minutes before all wx data has been written. Previous versions used to write wx station data much faster (~ 1 minute).In areas less populated with wx stations writing of wx data is a tad faster. Any idea how to 'repair' this?Thanks,Hans

Hey guys, I downloaded the Service pack 2 for my ASv6. When i submit my new textures it takes about 15 secs longer than the orginal 3 secs it used to take. Also after a few hours of flying with Asv6 going in the background, i will get an out of memory error. This never happened until i got the latest Service update 2. Also i can't open IE or movies to watch while im flying with ASv6 going in the background. I just switched back to the orginal Asv6 and everything works much better now. I just wanted to express myself here for a bit. Last night I flew my sister-in-law into Portland Oregon KPDX from southern Oregon (a place called Medford). We filed IFR and landed around 7:00 in the evening. It was cold with fog patches and some low ceilings, very smooth ride though.Well, later that night a DVD movie that my wife and I were going to watch turned out to be scratched (I will have to retrun it to Blockbuster's). Anyway, I have not used FS in about a month, I have never installed ASV6. I watched the video Adrenalin-12 mentioned in the general forum at avsim and decided to have a go myself at a similar flight.Downloaded mesh,set up flight and off I went in a Shackleton around the Madagascar coast .Staying at 100ft AGL and 250Kts it was a bit exciting.Then I saw lightning up ahead and decided to carry on LOL.What a storm it turned out to be.Plane was tossed around,sheets of rain and no viz.I diverted to a tiny strip on coast but impacted terrain.Thanks to AS for a wild flight! HalloAs ASV customer i had a possibility to get unwrapper file with AS6.After verifying i had a file with new installation of AS6 with possibility to install AS6 from zero. My problem is that i fergot to meke a backup of this file. Now, after some problems with sim, i wanted to make a new install of AS6 again, but unwrapper searching for ASV installation, which i don't have anymore and as i said befor i don't have backup of normal full installation of AS6.My solution is only install ASV again and then run unwrapper...But is it possible to put to personal account of registered customers new AS6 Full pack (not just unwrapper) instead of old ASV Pack, which i still can get …

HiJust a small bug I noticed on my machine. When setting options in ASG the options are saved correctly in the .ini file, but if I open the options screen a second time the options have all been reset to the default. It does not seem to be loading my currently selected options.It's a small bug and doesn't impact too much on this awesome product.thanks

hi there!first, many thanks for the new SU2 update und your neverending support!i've a question regarding the auto-submit feature in ASV6 ( especially runway lights), which is ON and wx-influenced in my setup:when i start asv6, current weather will be downloaded and KSEA is loaded per default as departure (i know i can change this in the options screen) airport. Hi,This should be an easy one. I purchased ASV and then upgraded to ASV enhanced. Do to other computer issues, I decided to reformat my hardrive and rebuild my system. In the meantime you released ASV6 and ASV6 upgrade 2. My question is, what is the reinstall process from here? Should I reinstall all 4 in the order that they were released, just ASV and AS6 upgrade 2, or something in between?Also I have a registered version of FSUIPC 3.50. Is version 3.53 needed or does it offer any benefits for AS6UG2? FS2004 is working very well now and I have decided to stop being a mechanic and become a pilot again. Hi,I have AS 2004.5 setup using WideFS, the Actice Radar worked great, even showed white for show.Yesterady I purchased AS6, and have it working with WideFS, have deleted the activeradr DLL, and folder under FS/Models. Then ran the ActiveRadarConnector.exe program from the FS computer.Shutdown and restarted both cpmuters, start FS, then WideFS, then AS. Everything works properly.I start ActiveRadar, it shows wind direction, airports, ect. But doesn't show ant perceptation, rain or snow.I have used the search for wx, found loactions and moved the plane there, with in a few moments, the rain or snow starts. But even after 5 minutes, there is still no precertation show…

Hi, I've used ActiveSky products for 2 year now...and just had to drop a line and say thank you for such a great product!!! The free updates and support are unparalleled. I just flew KSFO to KLAX and the sunset was incredible....I only wish I knew how to take screenshots to show you. I have noted that while using ActiveSky 6 that I am experiencing some severe airspeed fluctuations. I have seen my speed jump from 290 Knots IAS at FL320 to around 390 Knots IAS then down as low as 220 Knots IAS all within about 1-2 minutes. This happens on nearly every flight and on one occasion it resulted in a stall. Is this normal? I have AS6 and the latest update. I just noticed that my radar does not work, open, or appear under flights in the menu. The readme claims it should have been reinstalled with the AS6 install, but this does not seem to be the case on my machine.What do I need to do to add it? I dont see a dll in the modules folder that would be the radar (unless the name is not at all like the application).

Since adding patches 1 and 2 and the January 19th patch I have been having real frustrating behavior from AS6. Lost hours and hours on this. Essentially, the program just won't ever recognize or retain the network shares to the FS directory and personal files and now it launches the installer for another program (FS Flightkeeper) each time it starts or generates initialization errors. I see that others have these problems as well and there just doesn't seem to be a good answer to them. I give up. Hi guys1. presently have the feature "depict fs9 haze layer" OFF and " Fog generation layer " ON or selected however it says it will generate a low overcast stratus layer when no clouds are visible BUT if I have set "favor cumulas over stratus" What happens in this case, and is this stratus layer the one that looks pretty bad with hard edges and really low mostly noticeable around the mountains? 2. I just purchased this monitor and to make things easier to see, I increased the DPI setting to about 120.When I do that both the ASV screen looks odd as does the ASG screen which is captured below. For some reason none of my other programs have this odd effect, they are just smaller.I am also using Large Fonts.This is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things, but I thought I would ask.I am also curious if anyone is using the monitor and running Active Sky and seeing a frame rate hit [ I lose about 5 fps at native resolution of 1900X 1200 since using the monitor with Radeon 850X, compared to my CRT at 1024X 768 ], but also upgraded to SU2 before I tried ASV 6 again, so …

I have Active Sky Version 6 installed with the first update. However, when I try to intall update #2, the intall programs stops and says Active Sky Ver 6 must be installed first, which it is. Any suggestions.Thanks Brad Storm

I have just applied the latest update to ASv6 and get the following error;ASG.exe - application errorapplication not correctly started (0xc0000135) I now read that all I need to do is go find something called net 1.1 or higher. I don't want to sound ungreatful for the update but just what is net 1.1? Lately I've updated a few programs and in two cases I have had conflicts which have caused me lots of grief and lost time to fix. Can I go back to asv6 as it was before the update I only wanted to update ASv6?
