The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Had a great flight today through the Merrill Pass in Alaska (Flight). Spring, two hours before dusk, traveling east, low sun from behind. Awesome. One thing that screenshots can't capture, unfortunately, is the great effect you see when you fly in and out of the shadows, specially when the sun comes up from behind over a mountain ridge with trees: awesome. I like to fly low and slow specially for this! I usually fly with Low and threatening weather, but I wanted this to be a sunny day so I chose Clear skies. The lighting system in Flight makes ALL the difference in the world imho...

Good evening to all As a recent father of a 9-months boy, long time no fly...Not a very original one (the flight, not my beloved child ), but what a pleasure. I hope it will be a pleasure for you too to watch these screens. Full album here : https://plus.google....400140131572257 (click images for full resolution)

I didn't have many expectations for a $20 airplane but this is surprisingly really well done for the price range it falls under and exceeded my low expectations by a lot.. Great textures, great VC, and flies darn well.. Nice little diamond in the rough seas of low budget aircraft shopping. Sure, why not.. Some late evening bombing runs on the local mosquito population! :P

I purchased this scenery a little while ago when PIS came out with the combo pack "Raw Grit: PNG Bush Pilot - Extreme Bush Trekker Combo Pack". It's great bush flying, remote areas, little or no navaids, dirt short strips, and volatile weather with high temperatures. I've only just started actually flying the tour, and I can already see how great a purchase this was. There are 40 airstrips included, as well as seaplane ports and helipads. The manual has information on real routes, and an orientation kickstart 40 day tour. I'm doing the 40 day tour from now over the rest of this year, these are my shots from day1:

Not what you were expecting eh? But there genuinely is one of these things, Pan Am being a railroad now rather than an airline, so this pic is of course of it simulated in Railworks rather than Flight Simulator: Al

Just finished another repaint, this time for the freeware alphasim ah1w super cobra. The model isn't bad and vc is pretty barebones, but couple it with flight model from hovercontrol or helicopter total realism (htr) applet, it's a fun chopper to fly around. should be uploading to avsim and hovercontrol soon. happy 4th!

This is a private airstrip in NC with a strange slope to the runway which makes for some interesting landings. I dont know much about this place other than its built around a golf course and even has occasional Turboprop aircraft landing there. I guess if your into aviation and Golf, this is heaven! Rob

The ground texturing and objects are simply excellent. Sensation of flight is hightened with photoreal textures and objects whizzing past the canopy.

Nice place to fly in Idaho. There are a lot of challenging airstrips to try to land on.
