The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.
  1. Shalom and greetings all my pals, Here is gorgeous sunset flight from PACD Cold Bay Airport located in city of Cold Bay in the Aleutians East Borough of Alaska to unbelievably extremely busy PANC Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport located 4 nautical miles southwest of downtown Anchorage. Being pushed back from cargo apron ground Pushback tractor doing tight turn for the plane Starting engines with background view of Mount Simeon Exiting from cargo hold into runway 08/26 to taxi into runway 32 for backtracking Starting backtracking at beginning of runway 32 On verge of completing backtracking with background of …

  2. I had a bit of a heavy metal fetish last night. And I don't mean Iron Maiden (although the QW757 Iron Maiden tour livery is fantastic..). But l love the Jet2 repaint! Retro attack! Air France Lockheed L1011. An aircraft "built like a brick ****house" as an ex-TriStar Captain told me once. I just love the LevelD 767. Great systems, no bugs and fine handling. And still looks sexy despite its age. On approach to my local airport. Birmingham International in the UK.

Been updating the new United Express..... They changed their font..so I had to fix that. Got the winglets painted (more difficult than you think. Now all I have to do is work on the bottom tail...that horrendous multi-compound curve that will bring any painter to their wits end...and missing hair! :vava: I bet all you guys are glad you don't have to put up with it...you get to just fly the results! :LMAO: Then this one is right after...and has a bottom tail to also deal with.... But at least her tail looks good. Ok...back to the canvas! Next post will be the United release post! Will do some painting from seat 3A on Delta's fl…

This was such a cool pic, I bought EGLC some time ago, together with my hubs EGLL and EGKK, and this just didn't get any attention!!! I simply LOVE the lighting (please don't mind the Ryanair at EGLC, I am just trying the new McPhat liveries).

Just finished her on the flight back to Atlanta, all wrapped and packaged...here are the release pics. Enjoy her (I'm liking this livery on the EMB) I think she's pretty photogenic. :LMAO: Oh, I adjusted the reg position and color after taking these pics ....looking more closely at the only 2 photos of this livery I noticed I was off a bit (so glad there is one of each side, hehe). Oh yeah...and looks as though they changed the font on the fuse....can't say I like it as much as the older font. Regards, Steve Dra

  11. We've had some horrendous weather here in the UK over the last couple of days. Torrential rain, flooding, storms and gale-force winds. Just the weather I thought to go flying (in the sim..)! I jumped in RealAir's aptly named Lancair G-LANC and departed RAF Chivinor on the North Devon coast and headed for Gloucester at FL120. Hoping for some bad weather - I didn't have long to wait! Hope you enjoy the pix. Ready for departure at Chivenor On climb-out the weather doesn't look too bad but... ...not long after I came across some very dirty looking clouds Finally! Out of the CB's and over the rather misty Glouc…

First of all, many thanks to Steve Dra for the fabulous paint job. It looks great on the -600! I’ve been flying around the Atlantic and Caribbean lately and PA was without a doubt big in that area back in its hay day. I started at JFK and have made my way down to Key West via Bermuda, Eluthera and then Nassau. I’m now going to go bother Fidel as I make my way Eastwardly across Cuba! The iFly 73 with FS2Crew is a super combo. Enjoy the shoots

...and on the model. You can see in the pic of the right side...Azul is another airline that paints english on one side and their language on another....the things you learn (or notice) when you paint an airline! (And this is my 1st Azul paint, so I never noticed it before). Still a ton to do....right engine needs paint, the bottom needs alignment (UGH...my worst nightmare), the tail needs adjustment, winglets, etc. Just wanted to show you what she looks like in the sim compared to the WIP I showed ya! Some of the pics look darker due to me having a shader on in the sim. Hope to have her done this week. Regards, Steve Dra

  22. Finally had the time necessary to get down to business and purchase the RA Lancair Legacy. And yes, there is nothing like the feeling of trying out a much anticipated add-on. And this one does not disappoint, far from it. I will stick to pics for this thread, leaving the flight notes for the FSX forum later. Flight plan called for a scenic VFR flight from 77S (Hobby Field) to the east to fly near the Three Sisters and then back to the home field. Thanks to: ORBX, RealAir, AS 2012, REX Essential and RXP for making this first flight memorable!
