The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

When you've had your fill playing with the QW 146, where to? Well how about taking one of Icaro's new giant Pack4 down the river? It has a very crisp VC, in this shot the original model on which it is based is in the background. ...and back up the foggy river in time for an evening departure:

  5. Shalom and greetings all my pals, As all of you know that one of Canada's most recognizable and famous pilots Arnie Schreder of Buffalo Airways died few days ago. Arnie was a Chief Pilot for Yellowknife based Buffalo Airways which was also featured on the TV show Ice Pilots. He came to Northern Canada in the 1970's and trained literally hundreds of pilots over the years who are now flying for many airlines based in Canada and America. Here is some photographer's real life photo of planes flying in formation past CYZF to pay tribute to the great Canadian pilot!! Here are screenshots of many planes flying to CYZF Yellowknife airport to participate in flying…

Sometimes the real world weather can result in AE2012 giving some "I think I'll just switch to a default weather" results.. Then there are times when it's just normal and pleasant to look at. Then there are others like this week so far where it's just producing cottony bliss and fun to fly in.

Not sure why I do, but I just think Silhouette's look really good... I was coming in to fast and had to abort...but I had to see if this shot looked any good first Funny story, I forgot the Spit's fuel system won't flow when inverted for very long...I yawed over to the left side after a vertical stall, and pulled up just in time.. These were my first shots using the EMB mod, and I must say it does add a bit to the feel of sim...using John Venema's settings...

Just one I snapped from the sim, lining up on 31L at JFK. Went to the spot view, and was greeted by a nice looking angle and took the shot! My long time FS friend Kyle Schurb, offered to do a custom rendition of his all new American Airlines paint for the Sky Spirit 767-200. So I immediately fired up FS9 to test her out and was just amazed by the pure greatness of the paintjob! He's actually going to be releasing an update of this paint that he released 2-3 weeks on AVSIM. Correcting some very minor things, but also adding some all new features and textures throughout the paint to really bring out the very best in it. Edit : Why not I'll throw another one…

Morning departure from Santa Fe , New Mexico

  24. I can still remember the very first time I was on a plane very well... It was back in the summer of 1989, we were leaving Belgium to spend a one week in Greece. I was 10 back then, and ofcourse I was full of joy when I heard we would be travelling by plane for the very first time. Usually we were spending our 2 weeks summer holidays in southern France; the Côte d'Azur and later in the Languedoc-Roussillon. Oh those +14 hours drive... :) Back to my very first flight now... There is 1 image that I will never forget, sneaking out of the window while the plane was taxiing to the runway and seeing that strange looking exhaust. Here I've took a picture of it over…
