The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I've been away from flightsimming for far too long. A simple flight in southern California. There's actually no sun until you get above the overcast layer. Climbing Cruising at 8000 ft. A few hills dare to punch through the clouds The F33a doesn't mind a few clouds

I guess we all tend to fly where we live, so although I love mountain flying (as in a previous post I made), I still fly around my home town a lot (NYC). X-plane has great looking mountains, but is rather lacking in urban or city scenery. I’m told this is being worked on, but for now, I’ve gone ahead and ported one of my favorite FSX add-on scenery’s to X-plane to liven up the city, plus I bought KLGA for XP and a few freeware add-ons to fill in the blanks. I pleased the result. Though not perfect by any stretch, (there are a few graphic anomalies) but it will hold me over until Xplane X matures a little more. Rob

I guess because I live in a rather flat geographically boring part of the world,(NYC), I love to fly over and around mountain areas. I always think to myself, what would happen if the engine quit over one of these areas? Where would I go? Rob

I can't afford the Carenado C90 or PA46T Malibu now...but I fly what I have so it's a Lancair IV-P From Here to There...Civilian Style (Part I) Note: I don't have the radio on or use it when I fly civil aviation, so please don't bring it up! Hopefully you enjoyed these screens (not edited except for borders, re-sizing & a slight sharpening), commentary is always appreicated...Darryl
