The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This is a repost from the Flight Forum, showing the visuals in Lake Clark Pass for MS Flight's Alaska DLC... It's a little hard to spot the entrance, as it curves right, then makes a sharp hook to the left. This may be it. Found it! One last glance back at Cook Inlet. Is that a glacier up there? Indeed it is! This route is easier than Merrill, with fewer decisions to make. Here's my first, and by my chart I should go left. My second decision, but this time the map indicates I can take either one. They merge back together later. I go to the right. Is that a glimpse of…

ORBX released earlier today a new freeware package in the PNW. So I decided to leave the Legacy in the hangar and go check out this latest offering in the Sierra. Three fields are included: 7WA3 (West Wind), 4WA8 (Riverside) and a private "farmer's field". This flight started at ORBX's 74S (Anacortes) and then north to the Nooksack River while checking out the scenery and then landing at 7WA3. A somewhat bumpy affair all the way, but quite enjoyable. Love the area that these fields are located in. And of course... it's free! Next visit will likely be in the A2A Cub. This package calls for it. Nooksack River, 4WA8 is on the right, a bit further …

Here are a few pics of the Stearman coming into PADU, Dutch Harbor. Nice details with the mesh (Mt. Ballyhoo) and with the Dutch Harbor area. Winter flying will be a hoot in "Flight"...lighting is very nice, as illustrated in the Stearman flyover of PADK, Adak. Now, with a DC-3 or Goose or other slightly faster plane with a cockpit...the Aleutians will be grand! Bill KGYH

I had not planned for these to be dusk shots; I thought I had started my flight early enough to be a late afternoon flight but I guess it wasn't early enough. Cascades Locks (KCXK) to Hillsboro (KHIO) via Portland

Hi! I don't normally go back in time for flights but one of the airlines I always liked but never flew on was America West and one of the periods where I did the most travelling in my life was the 90s so thought I'd try this! The flight was a 1pm departure from LAX for the roughly 1 hour flight to Phoenix Sky Harbor. The aircraft used was an Airbus A319. Pushing back from the gate: Lined up Runway 7L: View of the terminal on initial climbout at 160kt and 15 degrees nose up. Climbing out of LA heading East: In cruise at 35,000ft passing over a large lake: Descending: Descending on vectors for runway 2…

Finally got around to downloading Mr. Stolle's FDE. Had to reteach myself how to keep a stable approach, and by the color of the VASI lights, I'm still relearning!
