The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Porting FSX planes to FS9 may sound retrograde, but it does seem to work rather well... Within 30 seconds of loading the model, you can tell it is pretty classy Looking inside does not dispel that notion Excellent pilot figure, one of the best Taking off from 7,500ft it is suitably mushy One of the few approaches where the mixture can stay forgotten... flight model is pretty convincing

After all the recent Alaska discussion in the Flight forum, I decided to try some cold weather flying in FSX. I started free flying out of Sitka and headed into the mountains without a plan. I know, bad idea. After clearing some high passes, my airspeed indicator got stuck in a vertical position for some reason. I tried to tap it, but that didn't help. Eventually, I turned on the GPS and decided to head for Juneau. As I descended my airspeed indicator needle came unstuck and started working again. I came in to land a bit high and slid across the runway, but the plane and I were both in one piece.

  11. When I get frustrated with work and need some distraction, I like to settle in and hunt terrorist base camps and caves in the mountains of Afghanistan with the UAV Predator Drone. This shows a flight out of Northwestern Pakistan just crossing into Afghanistan and overflying mountains. The UAV Predator Drone came with some missions like SAR and so on, but I enjoy these too.

  21. Note I can only keep a good framerate on all medium settings so it's not at it's absolute best. Doing a walk around photo-op: Startup by the book, though now I see that blaring 'TURN ALL AVIONICS OFF BEFORE STARTING ENGINE' Quick fill-up, left the tanks low last go around. Holding for some traffic on the runway, just because there's no ATC yet doesn't mean it always has to be the Wild West :-P Hard to maintain an even climb and set the camera up for a picture. Picked this departure heading for the background visuals. Taking in the sights on this pretty level terrain flight: Outside view, Hawaii is gorgeous, even where…

Enroute from Liverpool to Norwich I had a double engine failure about 40 miles from Norwich. Luckily I was already in my descent phase and managed to restart the port engine but could not restart the starboard engine. I had just got established on the localizer and my computer crashed.......I am getting really tired of my comp CTD. I have recently purchased ASE as ASv6.5 was giving me problems but maybe I need a new FS comp. :(
