The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Aaron Swindle has a freeware sound pack out for the PT17. I pressed it into Eckert's Model 75 and went flying, forgetting that despite the new sounds you still have to watch the manifold pressure. After a while the smoke started to come out, and I was lucky to make it back. It's a lovely model, and some great sounds...

Hey Guys, haven't posted any shots for a while despite still grabbing a few on flights here and there. Here are two shots from my latest Jet2 travels, Newcastle-Krakow-Newcastle. Boarding at Krakow ready for the trip back to Newcastle, recommend this flight to everyone! Poland is a lovely country to fly too. Great ATC also if you fly on VATSIM. Bit dark but here we are landing back at Newcastle, all round lovely rotation. Cheers for looking! Also, check out Jet2 Virtual @ www.jet2virtual.co.uk

At engine shutdown, I only had 618 lbs of fuel remaining. I started out with 10,606 lbs!

Once of the best pieces of freeware released in the last few years is the Basler BT-67. It is a conversion of a DC-3 that equips it with turbine engines and among other things like a modern day cockpit. I thought the Basler would be perfect for cargo and charter flights in Hawaii, but could a Basler fly non-stop from California to Hawaii? Did it have the range? The documentation included with the Basler says it has a range of 2,140 nm with the long range fuel tanks. Of course, the payload must be reduced to not exceed the aircraft's MTOW. I wanted to re-create a flight that took place back in 1941 when three DC-3's (equipped with ferry fuel tanks in the fuselage) flew f…

Greetings folks, I managed to find some time to rummage around my screen shot folder and collect some shots (mostly shots from the past @3 years that I never got around to posting) to make up a themed screen shot series as it has been a while since I posted such series. The theme is based around a spotter's view when trying to catch a photo of heavies in and around airports. I do hope you enjoy the view and, as always, these shots (unless I state otherwise) are unedited apart from resized down from 2560x1600 & JPG'd (I did crop certain shots so the ratios is different in some as you will see). Spotting the heavies: …
