The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hi all, want to post this here as the last for a few days because it's interesting handling the new sims. The developers calculate the new physical based light from real world data but it's always a bit overdone in the sims, I can hardly handle it. Same in MSFS. So in XP12 my screen setup is a bit dark all the time because otherwise the sun is really annoying. And, honestly, I've done a little correction of the brightness in these shots afterwards which I normally never do, it was too dark. I think they will adjust this on the long run to something which fits better for the sims. Okay, here I have a little flight from EDDM to EDDF and I inserted …

Hi all, here you can see a nice scenery in XP11 of a wellknown area in Italy. Scenery constists of 1. Ortho4XP tiles all around, 2. the fantastic Simheaven Europe overlay (autogen) and 3. Aerodrome LIPV City_Venezia XPFR on top, wonderful. There is also a plugin running for worldwide boats and ships in XP Marine TrafficX by pilotflo based on Marginal. Aircraft is the very perfect VFlyteAir C150 Commuter, I love it. 🙂 Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

Delta Connection is a regional airline brand operating under the auspices of Delta Air Lines. It actually consists of a number of individual regional subsidiaries that operate the Delta Connection Flights. One of these principal subsidiaries is Endeavor Air, one of whose flights and routes, I've recreated today on my desktop. First of all, I've rarely travelled in Delta "Connection". However, I recall one occasion, many moons ago, but rather clearly, in O'Hare. It was for a short-haul flight, and as I proceeded to the departure gate (well ahead of time, as is usually the norm in my case...🙂...) and prepared to get myself comfortably seated in the lounge; I caught si…

Here is another small airport, I'd got, a while ago, from the Marketplace. Braden Airpark (N43), also known as Easton Airport, is a small airport located about 3.5 miles north of the town of Easton (PA) and is owned by the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority. It's located about 10 miles northeast of the well-known Lehigh University of Bethlehem. The airport's single (18/36) runway is of length 1,956 ft. I do recall seeing signs for both the towns of Easton and Bethlehem, on the eastward Highways, I used to regularly drive on, years ago...to cities on the east coast of U.S. Find 20 images, below, of what I captured, on the ground, and in the air, in the vicinity of t…

Hi all, a fast brake in the taildragger and it moved into a handstand. And the funny thing was it didn't drop back. Stood there, engines running, no damage.... And I could even perform a pushback by shift/p, it didn't drop back. Repeated this a few times and brake again and than it came down. And I could go flying! 🙃🙂 Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

In MSFS, there has long been a Texas-specific (Free) Update, but I have not really explored much of it except for a cross-country flight from Austin (west) to El Paso, about which I'd posted here earlier. This (MSFS) Update specifically mentions Austin and San Antonio. Having lived in Austin for several years, and having visited San Antonio a couple of times, I thought, I would see what it means to extrapolate my RW driving experience into a virtual (MSFS) trip between these 2 cities. San Antonio is about 80 miles southwest of Austin. I distinctly recall that Saturday morning drive down the (very) busy I-35 South Interstate, as if all of Austin was on its way to San Anton…

A remembrance to one of my favourite TV-series in the '80s was Magnum PI, a privat investigator with his red Ferrari living on the propetry of Robin Masters and managed by Mr. Higging guarded by 2 Dobermans Zeus and Apollo. For MSFS is a remake modelled by Spinoza and is fine integrated in the wonderful Hawaii scenery and located at the eastern shore of Island Oahu. Hereby an impression:

I wanted to show you guys some photos of the beautiful new avionics created by Working Title, in the SU15 beta. This was a fun trip in the XCub from Creative Mesh's payware U70 (Cascade, ID) to U60 (Big Creek, ID). Normally I wouldn't use this aircraft, but the addition of the new G3X Touch, now available in SU15 beta, is a game changer. In fact I heavily avoided any freeware or payware aircraft equipped with the old G3X... for starters the looks of the unit was laughable at best. WT has upgraded this incredible avionics much like they have with their G1000nxi, G3000/5000, and GNS 530/430 units. At the moment we don't have full GPS capability (loading procedures…
