Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Love the floodlighting on the nose of my LH Cargo paint from the airport lighting! The cargo building in the background pretty much sums up how this scenery looks. Click the images to see them in 4k. Going to do a lot of cargo flights out of EDDF with this scenery and bird!

REP (Reality Expansion Pack) was released today for the default XP11 C172. Man, I liked this aircraft before REP, with it, it's just fantastic! TIP: Set all of your artificial stability settings to zero (ok well maybe leave some Yaw in there!), and set your controls to full linear (sliders to the left - most realistic) for the best experience. This is flying! The REP adds the usual engine realism, FDE improvements and fantastic sounds, as well as walkaround mode, failures, persistance, towing and checklists. Clearly you won't see REP in these screenshots but hopefully this will whet your appetite. A particular highlight is how the C172 now feels on…

Bought new Carenado C208B XP11 version (which now also includes the Cargomaster expansion). It flies very nicely and the PBR is evident. But I can't help feeling wanting more for a full new purchase over the XP10 version. Texturing has not been upgraded and a lot of the panel text remains blurry (2010 standards, which is when these original textures were created for the FSX version). Some of the sounds are also of a low quality. But it's certainly not all bad. New engine modelling is good and ground power handling is improved. I'd recommend it for new purchasers (who don't own the XP10 version), as a C208 is essential in the hangar! But I'm not sure I'd r…

June 18, 1924: As they continued there adventure the flyers did not bring there dress uniforms with them in there cramped aircraft, instead they would usually they would be lent cloths by the officers on the Navy ship that was there to help them. They would borrow shirts, socks, pants and ties, but not Jackets, since those would have Navy insignia on them and they were members of the Army. In Saigon this led to a less than friendly reception from a very french waiter at a street side cafe who despite there explanations, would not serve them because they were not wearing jackets. There destination for the day was Bangkok Siam (Thailand), They could have saved 100 miles…

My night shots suck..lol, so...only day shots from now on, lol Here's two from a flight over an hour ago...British Columbia really comes out well, in FSW's orb's global whatever edition... The second shot has me right over Abbotsford, BC Any shot taken with FSW, is with all sliders set to Ultra, and never set lower. BTW, try doing an aggresive side-slip to lose altitude quickly...in FSW, what a hoot...in how well it is handled, and the sounds of the wind coming from ACCU-FEEL when doing so... I was over Abbotsford at 12, 000 or so, when I decided to land there...and basically floated down in a full control, side-slip. Dropped beautifully with m…

As you can see, Landclass files are badly needed within FSW, (just as required for FSX and P3D!!!) and once installed...everything looks like any other ESP-based with ORBX Global and OLC Landclass installed. ORBX (Hack) OLC_Europe and Pilot's FSX2010 Global (Hack) Custom Mesh running in theses screen grabs: Here is just out of ENVA, Norway...

All of these except for the first one are pics from a flight I took yesterday with the Grey and Rainy theme from KMRY to KSTS. I thought the clouds looked really good. just about all of it did really... Its an amazing thing when the Orbx ground scenery is the most detracting part

Been painting this CRJ livery on request...trying to get all those lines aligned just right. After about an hour of staring at them, I started getting cross-eyed! Soooo......took a flight in my Lufthansa Cargo 747 paint to give my eyes a change of scenery.... Just landed at KDFW, flew in from KLAX, unloading a shipment of weinerschnitzel Here I am, stretching my legs on a nice walk around the big lady.... (I think the WOW logo is ironic, because when I see this livery on the 747 I just say "wow"! It looks good on the MD-11 too. In my paint package I included all 3 colors of the WOW logo...orange, blue, green) Checking out tha…

...and what a difference custom mesh adds to FSW! I now have the same level of LOD as in P3D and FSX. This is getting easier and easier, lol... Here's how you place it into your FSX Scenery.cfg file. You will need to make some changes in the numbering, etc...as this is following some other custom scenery I have already placed in. You know on what drive you placed the Pilot's FSX for global 2010 mesh....and so just edit my drive letter, and you will be good to go. : [Area.132] Title=@IDS_AREA127_LocalMeshes Local=H:\FSGX2010\LocalMeshes Layer=132 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE [Area.133] Title=@IDS_AREA128_NAM Local=H:\FSGX2010\…
