The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

May 9, 1924. Wade asked an old trapper when the seasons changed, he replied “We have only two seasons here, winter and next winder”. Having no word on what happened to Martin and Harvey, the flyer waited in Atka for fuel and for weather to ease, by the 9th weather was better and they started for Attu at 9am. Winds from a williwaw hit just as they were taking off and almost caused Nelson to crash but they were soon all in the air. The 555 mile flight was long and cold with occasional snow squalls, the only life they saw along the way were birds and whales, They arrived in Attu after 7 hours 52 minutes of flying. May 10, 1924 Martin and Harvey walked out of the wil…

April 23, 1924: On the 19th Algonquin arrived at Kanatak with the new engine for Seattle. In blowing snow they managed to install by the morning of the 22nd. On the morning of the 23rd the men of the village helped Martin and Harvey break up the ice that was forming around the floats and tow the Seattle from the pond they had been working, down the stream to the bay where it was now calm enough to take off. Visibility was too bad to fly a direct compass heading to Chignik and at one point the weather became so bad they landed in a protected cove until the weather cleared. After waiting an hour and a half the storm eased and they then few the remaining distance to Anch…

Suggestion - Instead of tagging a topic as XP11, FSX, etc., it would be better to Prefix the Topic with a Prefix showing FSX, FSX-SE, XP11, P3DV4, P3D, FSW, etc. This way, if someone wanted to see everything XP11, they could click on the Prefix XP11 and all of the topics with XP11 would appear. I have Prefixed some but there are many more. Making a Prefix is like making a Tag. Just click on the Tags and enter your Tag, then CLICK on the BOX to save it and you should see "Item Prefix" is set to None but you click on that at you will see you tag listed. Click on the item and Save and you will have a Prefix for your Title. Enjoy! Best regards, Jim

We have a lot of excellent images from the various flight simulators and our members should be proud of their contributions to our community. At one time (and for a long time) we had only FS9 and FSX simulators. Now, thankfully, we have several simulators that are users have set up. We have received recommendations from the community asking that our members be required to indicate the simulator used for the images in the topic title. This sounds like an excellent recommendation. Effective immediately, please indicate the simulator used (XP-11, P3DvX, FSX, FSX-SE, or DTG FSW) in your topic title or properly tagged with the name of the simulator. Topics without t…

I took these screenies on a flight from sunny Nice to stormy and rainy Munich. Except for the Ortho4XP scenery, everything is stock. Default clouds, sky colors, weather, lighting, etc. Plane is the fantastic IXEG B733 1.2. Seeing this in person and in motion is just pure awesomeness! ;-) I hope you like them:
