The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  2. Gawd, this sim has 'Soul'! The night flight between KORS and Abbotsford, was so incredible...and the screen grabs do not due the actual upon-the-screen any sort of justice! I have stated many times since purchasing and installing, that this sim is so different from my FSX:SE, XP11, P3D v3.4...it has such depth of atmospheric 'feel'...you feel..that you flying through, and over the environment...especially at night. They have KILLED this..and not even RTM! The terrain, the lighting engine, the MOON...casting across the ocean...gawd...this is such a piece of work. I can't stop flying the dang thing...wow, wow, wow... The images don't have 30 percent of the de…

  9. June 10, 1924: It was extremely hot as the flyers got there planes ready for the flight to Hai Phong, there route would take them over the Lanzhou peninsula that separated the South China Sea with the gulf of Tonkin, it was the shortest distance but it was covered by jungle that contained more tigers and leopards than any other place in China. Also for a sea plane any mechanical problem would result in a crash in the Jungle. They traveled down the coast and over the peninsula. They flew at around 500 feet and could see the locals scattering in all directions as they passed over. Wade wrote of the flight, remembering all the tiny islands that “rival our thousand island…

  13. The most amazing thing about XP11 is that this is how it looks on my modest system, on low settings (no HDR, Visual special effects on Minimum, etc) FPS, never less than 40. :)

Hi, There was I flying out from Juneau Harbour in one of the MILVIZ DHC-2 Beavers when I spotted a strange white patch on a distant island. As I drew closer this alarming scene unfolded: So, I closed down the sim and reloaded afresh, took off and flew a different approach. Again, the Captain of this same cruise ship seemed intent on another Kamikazi mission: I landed to take a closer look: Like the Concordia this could be another challenging salvage job unless, of course, the hull survived unbreached. Deary me, I would like to be a fly on the wall at this inquest? Mike

I'm liking her so far. Playing with the paintkit and will make some changes to Holgi's included textures to tweak them to my preferences. Here is an updated American Eagle paint: Added the PSA logo to the nose, the Bombardier logo under the cockpit, changed a few other things based on pics I referenced. Made the change to the wing root color (that's the original)...just did it after these screens. It matches the rest of the planes shade now. Tweaked the color on the Delta -900 too. Here she is turning into a beautiful sunset.
