The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I am getting better at getting this bird into a stable orbit, it takes just the right amount of fuel, about twice what is needed for orbit. It makes the spacecraft light enough to take off from a runway, light enough to turn towards Dakar to take advantage of the earth's orbital spin and fly a good orbital path. I recorded the takeoff to orbit so I can just enjoy drifting thru space after the recording ends. I love my 4th pic, high over Africa, with just the lights shining of the Spacecraft in the darkness... Although this aircraft has no cockpit whatsoever, I just use the GPS to track my heading and groundspeed so I can make a stable orbit. Once in orbit, in the abs…

  4. The 727 had followed in the foot-steps of (and heavily borrowed from) the highly successful design of 707, a quad-jet airliner, with which it shared its upper fuselage cross-section and cockpit design. The 727-100 first flew on February 9 (1963), from Boeing's Renton (WA) factory to its first landing at Paine Field (WA). It had first entered service with Eastern Air Lines on February 1, 1964. But, the distinction of owning the very 1st B727 to roll-out of the assembly line goes to United Airline, which along with EA and AA, had primarily contributed the specifications to the original concept. B727 is/was the only Boeing trijet to have entered commercial production. I…

  6. Ortho4XP ZL16, MLADG Mig 15 Bis Weather ain’t the best, but I think that with the power behind my seat, I can get myself easily out of it, should more trouble show up. This Mig was formerly flown by the East German Luftwaffe and was bought many years ago by a Canadian enthusiast, who has brought her back to her former glory (well, at least here for my little story and flight) Approaching Penticton Now I swing north-west, heading towards Whistler Mountain Luckily the weather turns better and gives view to the fantastic mountainous area of Northern BC …

  7. The only teething trouble I had was having to manually activate LFLJ in the scenery library. Anyhow I thought I'd see how the Rockwell Commander 114 managed with full tanks... She did lift off before the runway levelled out :) Just a couple of shots as I was only trying to see if the altiport worked rather than undertaking a full flight. This is the lovely LLH Creations rendition of Courchevel with the photoreal option selected.Well worth the £11-odd I paid in the recent sale.

Carenado has just updated the PC12 for Xplane11, I am flying the new update here from Reno-Stead down the Sierra crest, to Owens Valley. Views of Tahoe, Virginia City, and Mono Lake along the way. I used my overlays over my photo scenery to add some depth, and ground auto traffic. John

Just enjoying "the personal Cessna Airliner" that all piston oriented pilots dream about getting in real life, so they can fly in the flight levels and listen to the lovely hum of piston engines in flight. Also posting because someone asked about this aircraft in Hangar Chat, thought I would help him review the AC... JC
