The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Following on from my previous post (here) and after my Canadian aside (here), I'm about to operate a Virgin A340-600 to JFK. The 340 did the last New York of the day and during winter meant it was entirely in the dark. Virgin had 12 A340-600s (along with 7 300s), with the problems with the Dreamliner RR engines, they've been given a new lease of life and are still plying the routes. All the 300s are gone and only 5 600s are still being used. Parked up at T3 with the tower in the background Shortly after take off, turning right to 220 degrees, climbing 6000ft A clear evening An American triple coming the other way Lots more dark nothingnes…

Avianca airline has always fascinated me...It's the prestigious flag carrier of Colombia, and flagship of the group of Latin American airlines. It's the 2nd largest airline in Latin America after LATAM of Brazil-Chile. It's also interesting to note that Avianca, which was initially registered, a century ago, on December 5, 1919, under the name SCDATA, is the oldest operating airline of the Americas, and also the world's 2nd oldest airline after KLM (KLM was founded 7 October 1919, and is older by only about 2 months). Avianca has a curious origin. The (source airline) SCDATA, cited above, was a Colombo-German Company formed by 5 Colombians and 4 Germans. The company had s…

I was looking for something different, something I could again fill a niche with in X-Plane 11. I wanted a business turboprop, not too expensive, but something with the look and feel of a classic turboprop, even though it was known for being a chore to fly. I finally settled on this from X-Aviation. It is nice, not too extravagant or systems crazy, but it has all the bells and whistles one needs. Reading the manual for proper autopilot operation is recommended, but with that, I recommend this aircraft, which was easy to purchase and install. John

A bizjet out of Amarillo Texas and overflying New Mexico, and a microlight, out of Willcox Arizona.... My high def P3D photoreal is loaded on my Samsung 2TB SSD, for sharp, fluid flying. It is allowing me to rediscover P3D after a long time using Xplane11 and Ortho scenery, not that I will abandon Xplane11, my Ortho scenery is also on my new SSD.... John

Hi, some impressions from a journey Pyongyang - Kathmandu in three legs via Xian and Lhasa. Before flying, praise the Dictator! (Unfortunarely, the scenery is outdated and somewhat old style. However, it's the only one we have for FS2004.) ... then hurry up. Turning into final at Xian: It's quite busy there: At the position for take off to Lhasa ... and at the final for Lhasa Luckily, this is only virtual (polluting the high altitude environment)... Taxiing for the last leg to Katmandu. I really looked forward to cross the Himalaya! A brief view onto Lhasa city: …
