Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I've found myself some what infactuated with the Pilatus PC-9/A. Had the plane in FSX-SE but never really flew it much, then again FSX never had the performance of P3D x64 However since purchasing the PC-21 I thought I'd get its older sibling up and running in P3D v4.5 HF3. Unfortunately 3 of the dlls are x86, the first being the sound, that was a Doug Dawson standard and easily fixed, of the other two one is a fuel dump (a modified Doug Dawson) so no drop in replacement there and the third is a custom Axis control for the throttles. However apart from those last two items it all works pretty great and is a blast to fly, both fast and manoverable and h…

I recalled, today, I've not yet explored, much, this nice (Airport) scenery from Aerosoft (that I'd acquired at their $5 offer) ...so, here we go, a dozen pictures in and around this Airport... [Note: The Czech name "Praha" is derived from an old Slavic word, práh, which means "ford" or "rapid", referring to the city's origin at a crossing point of the Vltava river.] Hope you enjoy these screenshots! [Aerosoft(LKPR) / Kris Pyatt(Freeware-AltraMax) / Orbx(BOB) / REX]

This is the fascinating story of one (fortunate) B707 (that many of us maybe already aware of). This Boeing 707 was special, starting from its birth, in 1964. This was the last (13th) of the so-called "Hotrod" 707s, custom built by Boeing, for Qantas. "13th" may be (universally) considered the "unlucky" number, but, this "13th" 707 was/is one fortunate plane, as we'll see! I say fortunate, because, airliners, at the end of their useful lives, unless, unfortunately, met with an accident, are (typically) abandoned in the (so-called) aircraft boneyards (or graveyards) e.g. in the deserts of western U.S., for storage, then, scrapped and salvaged for spare parts, or, in extrem…

Sometimes XP is excessive in it's punishment for overlooking the rules. A simple 'naughty naughty' would have sufficed.

Feeling a bit nostalgic today as Delta flew their final MD-88 flight IAD-ATL. Of course I recreated the flight and took just a few shots: At the gate, IAD Love those reverser buckets! Mission accomplished at the gate, ATL. I've always had a fascination with the Douglas/McDonnell Douglas T-tails that started with my love of Air Canada DC-9-32's as a kid...to the point that I'm probably going to end up paying to have the Leonardo Maddog painted in the 1980's Air Canada DC-9 scheme. Sad to see these aircraft heading off to pasture but they've had a great career, and time marches on. Thanks for having a look. Dave

Ortho4XP, ZL16 This time, the distance I fly is longer and I don’t use the Transall, but the Virtavia Boeing B-47E Stratojet instead. The B-47 was the first swept-wing multi-engine bomber in service with the USAF and truly a quantum leap in aviation history. Today it is considered the forerunner of every jet aircraft in service. Its swept-wing design was actually the result of a visit of a Boeing aero-engineer to Germany, where he was shown some secret wind-tunnel data on swept-wing jet airplanes. Already as early as 1943, Boeing engineers had envisaged a jet bomber, but were unable to overcome issues with the straight wings of the day. …

Shalom and greetings all my pals, On May/June/July 2016, areas of Fort McMurray had worst forest fires in history that destroyed and burnt 1,500,000 acres and 3244 buildings. This flight report presents my second relief aid cargo flight that I made 4 years ago (I have backlog of millions of screenshots waiting for me to publish) which was from CYZF Yellowknife Airport located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada to CYMM Fort McMurray International Airport located 7 nautical miles southeast of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. Cruising at 33,000 ft carrying heavy loads of much needed relief aid supplies bound for Fort McMurray residents …

[While the SpaceX Dragon has already docked with ISS...("We have docking"....such powerfully impacting simple three words..!!)...Truly, an upbeat and uplifting news and bright spot, in the current state of affairs,....heartening (and amazing too)...! As we continue to follow the details,...surely, enough cannot be said about these 2 astronauts: Hurley been the first Marine to pilot the F/A-18 Super Hornet, and Behnken been the lead Flight Test Engineer for the F-22 Raptor...., and, also, importantly, they (both), over the years, seem to have been good friends, together,...so crucial, here,....special people...!!] Anyway, today, I came across this Corsair F4U aircraft…
