The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

(Folks, I'm done, now, with my livery-hunting for mjc8), so, here is a collection of lovely repaints for this wonderful add-on...(selected - with a bias that's mine alone, and it was hard to pick, please see below...) My Original (Pilot Edition) came with 20 liveries, and, you may say, I (surely) went overboard, here, because the very last [fltsim.X] on my Aircraft.cfg, as, I notice, now, has X=99...🙂...so full 100 liveries, at my finger-tip, now, to roam the world, (btw, it didn't take that long, really, as it might appear...)...(And, our hard-working repainters are to blame (eh...I mean, to salute and praise, actually...!!)... BTW, the Dash8-Q400, with its ful…

First of all, I must state, this (SIM) aircraft and this (SIM) flight, turned out to be one of the "most enjoyable" due to several factors (including the right mixture of complexity and novelty, from my perspective). I was triggered, to fly this SIM, this week, after a very long break, thanks to a member (recently) posting some wonderful screenshots of this same plane. As I've implied in the Title, this SIM is a remarkably authentic rendition of this modern turboprop aircraft, placed into our hands, for enjoyment, (especially, for those of us, who are not real Pilots!). In fact, (IMHO) it will not be too much to say, that, since PMDG JS41 (I miss that SIM a lot!), this ha…

I'm a soft touch for photo scenery, but I like 3D objects sitting on top. Best compromise. Gibson Sceneries' photoreal for cruising and Orbx's Aus v2 for lower down / 3D elements. Uluru and Kata Tjuta (Ayers Rock and the Olgas), NT North of Melbourne, VIC Looking back at Orbx's Melbourne Lake Burragorang, NSW A long way from anywhere over the Red Centre Alice Springs, NT Banking over Orbx's Canberra, ACT

I am hoping to video my recreation of Flight VDA3212 from Gander to St Maarten. Inspired by the new (or maybe not so new) Gander scenery. Although I must warn FS niners there are a lot of faults in it. Here are some shots from my test flight. Need to mop up the apron. Pretty sure the Gulfstream G-III is involved in Covid 19 operations as well. 😎 Hurtling along at initially FL320 then FL340 90 to 100 knot crosswinds as we head south.😄 Landing checklist.. If it wasn't for Covid guaranteed the beach would be packed! Touchdown on point. 🙂 Such a cool aircraft IMHO

Folks, I came across these...today...and, found them interesting... The aircraft had flown (briefly) for Eastern Air Lines...and, also, had worn the colors of American Airlines... I've tried to hide the obvious markings, as much as, I could, here, but, not sure, if I was fully successful...🙂... Anyway, please take a shot at naming the plane...(if you wish)...

[Note: This is a (somewhat) ambitious post, and involves a story, surely, told and re-told, umpteen times, but, still, it has always sustained its appeal, to me, as a most remarkable one...! Ever since, I'd seen "that" (atypical and anti-climactic) image of the "up-turned" Vickers Vimy, as the culmination of a triumphant voyage, the picture has remained with me! And, since quite a while, within the limits of the SIM, I've been thinking of a Screenshot-based post, on it, but, I've not been able to get to do it, although, I've been collecting bits and pieces of (random) thoughts about it...It took me several hours, this week, to (finally) accomplish it, as best as I could, …

Once Olympic Airlines was Greek´s biggest airline and flag carrier. Today, after the merger with Aegean, Olympic Air (as it is named now) is Aegean´s subsidiary and degraded to just a regional carrier. With temperatures in Greece up to 104°F for the last few days, people flocked to the beaches for refreshment. Here´s a planeload of heat-suffering citizens of Thessaloniki heading to the beaches of lovely Paros onboard Olympic´s Dash 8-100 (Olympic have 2 Dash 8-100s and 8 Dash 8-400s in service). So let´s join the flight. Hope you enjoy. Passing over Skiathos: Athens with Piraeus in the Background: The smaller, but hip island of Antiparos…

Today we leave sunny Greece and the Aegean islands for something different. City Express was a Canadian airline, which ceased operations long ago. It operated a fleet of Dash 7 and Dash 8 out of Toronto Island Airport to destinations like New York, Montreal, Ottawa and of course London, Ont. Here we see an evening run from CYTZ to CYXU.
