The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hey folks, Came across Gibson Enroute Sceneries while exploring the web for flight sim related stuff. https://www.gibsonsceneries.com/ Interesting is that his Northern Territory scenery feature 2 x options. 1), where it is all the enrounte photo scenery 2), where the scenery features an area around the plane showing underlaying scenery e.g. Orbx with the enroute photo scenery for all further. A composite type of scenery if you like. There is a demo it you'd like to trial it out, an approx 900 x 450 KM area of the lower Northern Territory area which encompases Alice Springs and Uluru (Ayers Rock). This pic is of the full enroute phot…

[Note: All the "Russian" linguistics, here, (plus my own "visit" to the beautiful township of Severka), put me in the mood for a bit more Russian, and made me think of this (Soviet) aircraft. The impressive Tu-95 goes by the NATO reporting name "Bear". It was the creation of the (visionary) aeronautical engineer (and pioneer), Andrei Tupolev, in the USSR. Tupolev designed (or/and oversaw) the design of more than 100 types of civilian and military aircraft in the Soviet Union over 50 years: imagine a "Soviet" engineer been honored outside the Soviet Union as an honorary member of both the Royal Aeronautical Society and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics…

I've flown into (and out of) the Alexander S. Pushkin International Airport (UUEE), of course, in our fanciful "virtual" world, several times, including, just recently, while testing the Tu-95 Bear. However, it occurred to me that, I've never got to look (closely) around this airport (scenery), from a (walk-around) viewer's perspective. So, here, below, please find such a set of (15) images, from this Airport...(UUEE is one of the three main International Airports that serve the city of Moscow, and, is the busiest airport in Russia). Moscow's other two International airports are: Domodedovo (DME) and Vnukovo (VKO). And, just a few notes and observations, on a few of …

[Bit of notes and thoughts: My inclinations to fly military aircraft is (has been generally) less than that for (commercial) civil aircraft, but, kudos (and thanks) to those, who do so, here, both freeware and payware, and, especially with the (remarkably) complex DCS SIMs, often, too, in a foreign language based cockpit (e.g. my Russian language expertise is, now, limited to one word, "Аэрофлот"...🙂...hope to change it one-day, though...)! And, there is no denying that, we're where we are, now, with our modern airliners, owes great debt to the many evolution and enhancements, that we take for granted, first implemented and tested in military aircraft (that includes techn…
