Getting better at Russian thanks to flying the MiG-29 in DCS and getting better at landing it too, although I'm glad it has a braking parachute. In case you're wondering what the title means, that's pronounced 'prekrasno' and it means everything is fine. 🙂

The latest version of the Xtreme Prototypes Learjet has finally been released! Just a quick test flight into the very scenic Santiago de Compostela Airport by PILOT'S. Apparently this airport is know for foggy mornings and bad weather, so too this approach was full IFR. The early morning sunrise casts a strong orange hue all over the foggy landscape. Runway 35 approach with the airport clearly in sight, the silhouette of the Learjet is just stunning! Cleared to land, perfectly aligned on the ILS! At a suggestion by a fellow AVSIM member about not flying over Iran or Iraq if I could help it, (countries to the east of Iran would be far less friendly to a low flying, noisy, slow twin) I arrived at the torturous flightplan shadowing the Iranian border with Iraq to get us to Kuwait. From then on it would be a long range flight over water Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman & the Arabian Sea to get to Karachi.. Leaving Dyarbakir. LTCC Perhaps I should have asked for some fighter escort? Taken this morning just out of EMA 09 for Valencia, some nasty clouds on the way into EMA quite close to minima! So happy with how my 4.5 looks, absolutely no need to get upto V5!

A new 'lut.png' I just installed in 'Reshade' - doesn't do much for the default XP sky nor, I suppose, for any other default textures but the plane is the default Cirrus and the terrain is Orbx.
