Hi guys, i went to the pic team panel page to down load the nav data- how do you put it in ? i didn't see any instuctions. And by the way i had a real good face to face talk with a 10000 hr. airline jet pilot who does a lot of beta testing for flight sim products and he said there is nothing out there to surpass this 767, it's 95% acurate and if one was to be real good on this he would most likely be able to sit in a sim and fly here.Louis

  4. In FS2002 many of the aerodynamic, physical and engine parameters from the aerodynamics (.AIR) file have been transferred to the aircraft.cfg file. If a parameter exists in the aircraft.cfg file the value in the .AIR file is ignored. If the value does not exist in the aircraft.cfg file then it is read from the .AIR file and FS will automatically place it in the aircraft.cfg file the first time the aircraft is loaded. So the easiest way to update the aircraft.cfg with the correct parameters for an air file is to delete all of these parameters from the aircraft.cfg file and allow FS to read them from the .AIR file and automatically update the aircraft.cfg file for you.If…

Hi there, Im having an annoying problem with the VOR/DME on the glareshield. I was setting up for the SID which required a 4 DME climb out then right turn from the loc freq, 110.75, but every time i went to re-check the freq before t/o, the VOR/DME had changed to *AUTO*.I put it back to manual, then reset the freqency and AGAIN!, it changed to auto!Anyone know how to stop this from happening ?Second problem i have is with FSNAV. As soon as i close FS nav using F9, the 767 will decrease its thrust and it will rock its wings.. i have to press F4 quickly to regain the thrust.any light on these problems would be appreciated! Thanks

If the new ACLoader Ver 4.0 does not see your merged 767PIC/POSKY Aircraft, then rename the aircraft.cfg of the original "767 Pilot in Command Wilco Publishing" to aircraftcfg.$$$.

I have not loaded up Flightsim for quite some time as i have been busy tweaking my system..Just upgraded to a Radeon 9500pro, and i thought i'd load up the PIC.I am not able to run 32bit color inside the options in flightsim, with antialising on and AF on?It works with 32bit colour but no AA and AF on on??The AA and AF only work if I select 1280X1024X16bit colour inside the Flightsim options??I use 1280X1024X32bit on my desktop, so it should work inside flightsim?anyone else using the same card at same resoulutions?Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum..Please direct me to the right forum?I have not be able to find any posts about this sort of thing?

Hi All, Has anyone noticed the 767PIC aircraft pulling to the right or left after touchdown? That is, after a sucessfull autoland and the plane starts rolling out, it veers off to the right or left as thou you were steering to turn off a taxiway. It mostly turns to the right. When I try a generic panel, the prob seems to go away. I fly FS2000, for now. The plane flies ok otherwise. I almost get the impression this problem my be the FS98 "air" file when used under FS2000. Not sure thou. Thanks everyone for any help with this one.Al Whitney - Bacal Aircraft Lab :-)

Thanks, Jose. Here's a question for the experts.... In the second picture, are the spoilers being used to slow the aircraft, or are they assisting in a turn? :-) Or is it impossible to tell?Cheers.Ian.

Hello guys~I have a question about the T/D, i found that in most cases for me, i can't follow the VNAV decend phase, because some STAR will need me to start decend far before the T/D which calculated by FMC, and i also instructed to decend by ATC at the same time, then i have to use V/S for my decend, so in real world, does the T/D only for reference? or it has other useful functions? Thanks!!Best RegardsTommy

Tom,this is one of those little quirks of PIC.Looking at your pic, you have not filled out the Perf Init Page, because when this is filled out GR WT is diplayed between the Runway length and the TOGW entry.I think the TOGW entry is used to enter the ramp gross weight minus taxi fuel.I have mucked about with the entry, and you are right in saying that if you use Kgs that the FMC converts it to lbs.I also noticed that this has no effect on the computed V speeds.Mark

Hello,When I use my flaps the sound keeps rumbling? I only can stop it by on/off the sound in FS?Also, when landing 2000FT from the RWY I alway's dissable my autopilotto land it by hand. Before that the approache mode was active. Its not possible for me to get the plane down for more then 1500FT a minute?....so if I try to pitch it down for 4000FT a minute ore more using my yoke and the autopilot off, its not possible? Its like the plane is still on the locelizer mode ore something...with the Autopilot disengage it must be possible the take the descent rate you want???What am I doing wrong?ThanksKappa

Gentlemen,You may want to email Randy Smith [email protected] many hours of testing and tweaking, the 767 PIC Landing View package by Randy Smith is now complete and bug free as far as I can see. I have helped Randy a little with the readme file that outlines installation and other useful information relating to the package and also by testing each generation of his efforts to provide a good view package. The best thing is that this uses all default gauges except for the xml file that was first developed by Lee Hetherington and the taxi light switch first developed by Gauthier Halberdier. Because of this, installation of this package only requires overwriting…

Just a another point for the new Landing panel setup, you can NOW look in any direction WITHOUT it changing back to the deafault main view! Using the keypad also will not effect the landing view. And a correction for the above post line 4] should read: default AIRCRAFT not panel. Randy

UK to Canada over the North Atlantic! All the way out of EGLL to BURAK then TRACK "CHARLIE", crossing the ocean to YAY (in the good company of BAW738 on TRACK "ALPHA") and then weaving my way through a bunch of VOR's to YSO and finally CYYZ.Apparently I programmed the FMC properly. Apparently I used the 767 Dispatch(er) the way you are supposed to. Apparently I seem to 'basically' know what I am doing.Like at the Oscars, I have so many people to thank!! :-)Mike B and the gang that came down to Bolivia and introduced us to the PIC 767.Lee H for showing us how to merge it with POSKY textures.
