OK, I'm brand new to this. I did a search but couldn't find the answer to my question.Only one airport in the default FS2002 world has taxiway centerline lighting and that's Seattle-Tacoma. Even at that airport it's only 5 or so taxiways with the lighting. First off, why is this the only airport with the centerline lights?Second, how do I add them or turn them on for other airports? I know not all airports have centerline lighting (then again, not all airports have edge lights, either...) but iwould like to have them at the larger airports. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)

My Dig camera is capable of 6MP and I have been entertaining the thought of producing custom textures for some FSDS2 project I would like to do in the future.My question is there a tutorial out there that explains how to take a image with a dig camscanner and convert that image into a usable texture in a simple 123ABC format using PSP 7.04 and FSDS 1 or 2.Thanks http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/Us...9d503cc53ab.jpg

Hi!Is it possible that the Approach or the RWY lighting is enabled during day or fog? In positive case it could be controlled by frequency, or are there better suggestions?Klaus

Hi all,Is there an easy way to exclude (or remove) flatten areas (can be at airports or lakes)?The reason for this question is that on some places in Europe some airports are at the correct places, other ones (especially military ones) are several hundred meters wrong, and the lakes are definitly some distance away from the right place. When doing own scenery (e.g. photorealistic scenery combined with a DEM), there is a strong need to exclude the missaligned airports and the flatten areas of lakes.Christoph

I like to fly out of KBOS alot it would provide a better effect if there were jetways. I have downloaded some GMAX jetway macros and I would like to add them to the default scenery on my system. Can anyone suggest an easy way. I was thinking I would need to determine the coordinates then use airport to place them one by one but I am hoping there is an easier way.Any help would be great. I have downloaded my entire state county shape files *lka, *lkb, *lkc, *lkd, *lpy, and *wat. Would someone please give me an example/samples of attributes used by TerraScene? I just donot understand the documentation on this task. Maby because they give an example of other countrys files. If you wish or would e-mail them to me.I have worked with Terrascene for Fly! from its birth, but not with shape files, and as DlG data is no longer updated I want the newest data I can get.I get no response from Fly! I have owned Lago's Emma Field scenery for a while, and I am very impressed with the way that certain objects only appear in the appropriate conditions and times. I would like to do the same with static aircraft and static cars in my Harris Hill Gliderport scenery, if it isn't to horribly complicated. As I've mentioned earlier I have been placing custom terrain tiles/textures with FS Terrain Calc by Jari Kaskelin and Resample.exe. Then I've used autogen annotator to place some autogen on the terrain tiles I just made. For 95% of the textures this works really well, but one tile is giving me a headache. It is far from the airport itself, and should not be touched by any exclude files. The textures around it work just find and have autogen as you can see in the picture attached. I'm sure I've added autogen in the same way as I did with the other textures, so the problem is not with Annotator. What could affect such a thing?

Hello,On some spots where the airport's exclude files prevent me from annotating autogen trees, I will place library trees (FISD) instead. The problem is that autogen trees don't have a sunny side and a shadow side like the library trees. I would like to have the library trees to also only have "sunny sides". Is it possible to edit this in the code, and if, then how?Thanks in advance!/Sebastian

My taxi lines are not showing up. I want to use the road with a it's minnimun width. I select my texture complied and did not show. The taxiways were drawn using polygons. I have tried different layers and still no. Could this have something to do with the harden feature?I am at a dead stop. The lines selection works perfect. I just want to use a drawn texture.Thanks:-)

Hi AllThanks to Rumba and Falko I've placed an LWM lake and shoreline but the shoreline is reversed with the waves on the land side. I'd like to have a corrected shoreline without waves and I'm unable to get this fixed with my lack of knowledge. Hello !I'm building my first scenery (Lake Salagou in south of France). I am using LWM polygons and VTP polygons. All is fin with water, shoreline, lake... (thanks to rhumbaflappy and all other great conceptors). But... This is my problem :I want to redefine village in my scenery. The default city lanclasses are not well for me because little village of south France are frequently in circular dense shape. I decided to built a personal texture with adapted autogen. G'Day ~~~can anyone please advise me where im going wrong .i can't get any BGL file i build in FSDS to show up in any airfield i create in FS2K2i follow the tutorial instructions to the letter but nothing shows.i use XP-Pro and my FS2K2 is on a diff partition than C:, could this be an issue ?its frustrating the heck out of me as ive fin~~~y gotten AS&D to build some local airfields for my friends studying for thier PPL and it would be nice to have more than the basic airstrip.thanks in advance :0)image of YBSS ( Bacchus Marsh - Victoria - Australia )

Joe Watson and I just uploaded our landclass scenery for the state of Florida. National Landcover Database files converted and used as base. Then hand editing the entire state for accuracy. Look for FLscenes.zip in the file library. Enjoy! Bob Brown

Hi,I was wondering if:the yellow centerlines that direct the planes from the taxiways to the gates, are they usually centerlines with green lights like taxilines or just yellow lines without light?Also the hold short lines are they lighted?Thanks :)Michel

I have used Easy Object Designer/Airport for Windows to add a flashing red warning light to a chimney, but have a problem. I can see the light, but as I get closer it disappears when I am still quite some way away.I have looked at the .api and .sca files produced, but am not too much of an expert on these.Can anyone suggest why this should be happening??ThanksDavid
