  1. The first screen shot shows the Golden Gate area of San Francisco with corrected coastline. Note the large errored flat areas at the base of the cliffs. This is a problem which I have not been able to solve. The same thing occurs when correcting rivers. The old river bed elevation remains. It seems that we can exclude the original coastline, plus fill the water with land, but cannot allow the underlying mesh to dominate in these areas.I have placed Ground2K excludes, with all the blue (available) options checked, plus land fills, over the areas in question.     Hi, Arno are you there?I know you always hang around here!Er, how's your schipol doing? I'm itching for an up to date version of it as i'm going to start fly Easyjet routes when i've got A320PIC sussed out and when the PMDG 737NG is released. All i have at the moment is the default. I just wondered if it was finished and you were hanging on until the whole NL2000 v3 project was done. Could you upload EHAM as a separate file for those who don't want the whole NL2000 thing?Thanks, Mark

    This is the problem: I've added some small freeware airports to my fs2002, all of them are visible in the "goto airport" menu but some are not visible in the approach, traffic... menus of the ATC when I approach to them. I noticed that the ones (i.e. AL08.BGL) controlled by the ATC have a file called AL08_AFD.BGL in their scenery directory, the ones not present in the ATC menus don't have this "_AFD.BGL" file. So, the question is: which is the smarter tool to create AFD files for existing aiports?Thanks

    Just to let you know I'm working on a new add-on module for FS2002 called FSConnect. It's basic purpose is to allow third party programs to "read" and "write" state information from/to FS2002, similar to FSUIPC. When and if I get it done, it will be released as freeware.     I have a strange problem with my ai planes. If I fly to my scenery from another location I notice that my AI planes are a few feet underground. If my start location is at my scenery the AI is fine. Changing the time of day will also fix it.I also noticed in FS Navagator that theres 2 airport directory popup thingies displaying Airport Name, country etc. Ones mine, the other is the original MS one. There seems to be a 3 feet difference in ground elevation between the two. The MS info is coming from a file called usneaf04.bgl in the adffiles dir. The other is coming from one of my BGLs.could this be causing the problem? Any help would be great please guys.Thx georgehttp://f…

    Hi all, I've included a pic to show what my problem is. Ive put down a ground polygon in FSSC over the default terrain. Then I've created an API in EOD that contains amongst other things 4 flat rectangular 'bases'. One is a stadium containing a running track and a soccer field and the others are all soccer fields using sub-elements of the stadium texture which is a 16 bit 444-4 with blank alpha. I've placed this API onto the poly in FSSC.All is fine after I experimented a bit with altitude.I've then created some tree APIs in EOD also using 444-4 bmps but this time I've placed the tree images in a full black ground which I've made transparent with full black alpha channels…

    Is there a GMAX tutorial specific to MSFS2002, I guess I would say it seems like there is a difference of terms in GMAX and FSDS2.I am specificly looking for information on how to place objects(lat/long)and create a BGL and import it into FS2002 as well as applying textures to the parts.Any help is appreciated.

    :-mad Does anyone else find Gmax texturing a complete pain?1) use the material editor to drag your texture onto the each of the models building block (texture dragged for each side- arghhh)2) unwrap uvw/select face/planar map(for some reason)/edit3)wrestle with lots of points on the image including those for other sides which can be deselected watching that points between sides are not moved by mistake when doing another side...arghhh.Surely there is an easier way of assigning the texture to an object and mapping it to each side, particularly when each side is exactly the same?

    I have no problems in creating ground texture polygons for taxiways and parking positions with gmax but taxi lines with gmax is not possible. I have two questions. How can one incorporate 'airport for windows' or other scenery creating software to provide taxilines over the gmax ground textures? and over the 'airport for windows' created tarmac runway?The taxilines I have created with airport for windows dissapear under the gmax ground textures.Secondly, Could one create taxiway edge lighting with gmax (blue glowing lights)that will come on after dark?I would appreciate for your help.Letats

    I'm trying to load a background map into FSSC and Ground2k.I start with fssc first and after take NW and SE Lat and Lon from fssc i load the same map in ground2k with the same coordinates of fscc.Later i go to compare one point but in the two map it isn't on the same place. I get some difference in coordinates.Now i don't know what of two program give me the right position.Can help me to understand the problem????I hope can understand me but my english is not good

    I have both FS2002 and FS98 installed. I decided to make some scenery for FS98, however, after exporting the scenery FS98 comes up with the following error message 'ERROR - FS98 Seek error E:FS98SceneryTestlakeSCENERYtestlake.BGL' I must say that I don't see a synthetic scenery tab in the properties of the scenery.     Hi,I am new on this forum and I would like to learn how to make a scenery from the first steps. I bought today Schiratti Control Center and I would also like to know what kind of programs are needed, such as adobe photoshop or others, specially if i want to make a fotorealistic scenery in Gmax.     I have uploaded 3 sceneries now and am trying to make more, but, Airport does not seem to export all the textures.Some of my testers get messages, scenery object not found, others have missing textures. like in the enclosed pictures.
