Hi All,I'm currently converting a FS2004 panel to FS2002. Except one problem everything is ready. Unfortunately I found no way to solve my existing problem at the moment.I made a spring load switch to increase and decrease the duct temp. When pressing the switch, it moves up and increases the duct temp as long as you press the switch. When releasing the switch, it moves back to the center position. This works perfectly in FS2004, but I do not know why it won't work in FS2002. Here is the code for the mousecklick:Flightdeck Duct Temperature Select %((L:Ducttemp_FD,percent))%!3.1f!

HiIm trying to toggle a hydr. failure when the landing gear is fully up Im wanting to have the hydr system fail,when the gear is first raizedand not work again till aircraft is reloaded.Thanks Warwick

Hello!Yesterday, I downloaded the famous Cessna 172 from RealAir. I was a bit surprised over the fact that RealAir has re-used the panels of the original 172 from Microsoft, but maybe there are some changes / extras in this panel I havent seen yet?Will you recommend a beginner of flight to change the panels to other, more realistic kinds, or will the basic panel from Microsoft do it's job? See, I'm looking for the most realistic behaviour and look (especially panels) when I'm trying to take my first steps into the sky.It would be really nice of you to post any suggestions. Has anyone else noticed this?Sometimes, having made a change in the aircraft.cfg file it doesn't seem to take effect until I use FSEdit on the corresponding .air file. Typically, I'll make a change to some descriptive text in FSEdit, cancel it, then save it. After this, the change seems to take effect.

After much searching, I've decided to ask this question here:I'm trying to set the gear of an aircraft model with retractable gear (using as a replacement model for Squawkbox 3 traffic) down permanently, as I'd rather deal with that than planes that are floating about because SB3 doesn't do any handling of gear state. I'd even go so far as to write a bit of code if there was a FSUIPC interface I could write to or some sort of multiplayer DirectPlay magic I could do to force gear down of multiplayer aircraft, but it doesn't seem I can do that. I'm hoping there's something in the model configuration or aircraft.cfg I can tweak to get the desired result... any suggestions?

Im one of those folks who thinks "well enough should be left alone"Im bad about not reading before I jump in the fire. I really didnt see any imformation on the RXP site as what would happen when I upgraded my Flight Line Apollo avionics to the 2005 version. The Jetline 2 and 4 as well as the WX Radar still work properly but the Apollo sytem has trashed all of my panels so to speak. I do not like using the pop up menus to launch and view the Instruments so I did custom installations to many panels of some are all of these avionics. Well the upgrade wont support these, It requires you to use the Avionics the way RXP sees fit or at lest it seems that way. Heck I cant even …

I have the formula that give the heading and distance between 2 points located with their latitude/longitude coordinates. Something like: (heading, distance) = f(P1, P2)Now I would like to have the formula that give the position (latitude, longitude) of P2 when you give P1, heading and distance. Something like: P2 = f(P1, heading, distance)I know I just need to turn the formula the other way round, but they are so complex that it is difficult for me to handle it. All displays (L main, R main, C main, Total Fuel Quantity and Total Gross Weight)in normal mode are OK.I want to have other two options like the real:ZFW and SELF TEST......but I don't know what I have to write in the strings to have displayed right value,for Zero Fuel Weight: Total Weight,kg - Total Fuel Quantity,kg in kilogramsfor Self Test: (Total Weight,kg - Total Fuel Quantity,kg) + 4500 kilograms ...somebody can help me?Kind RegardsRoby

I realise this might sound odd but I am hunting for a gauge that does nothing other than list the nearest airports. Similar to as in GPS put only a list of Airports and not ditance and heading.Andrew

Having tried using A:ADF STANDBY FREQUENCY in a gauge I found it just mimics the values for the A:ADF ACTIVE FREQUENCY - both values alter when you retune.Has anyone a suggestion for setting and swapping the Active and Standby frequencies? Hi everyone, I am new at this so plse be patient.I am currently trying to adapt a Tecnam P92 Super Echo made for fs2002 to fs2004. The aircraft pitched way up at take-off so I found out I had to change the [flight_tuning]elevator_effectiveness from 1.000 to 0.500 (?!), which stopped the pitching somehow. I still find the aircraft needs a lot of tuning though. For instance: turning the throttle iddle, stalls the aircraft immediately, which isnt so in real life. I am trying to tackle each problem seperatly as i hope this is the way to finally get a realistically flyable model. Hey Folks.I've been adding some new gauges to a panel. My latest one however brings up an error message when I click on it. It reads :- ' Your Computer has run out of memory, FS will now close 'My pc has a gig of RAM and although I'm not a techie I would have thought that the RAM was sufficient. Is there however a limit to the number of gauges one can put in a panel? The new gauge is number 118. Is that too many? When I remove this latest gauge I do not get the error message!!! Hello,I am a real life pilot on the Tecnam P92 Super Echo and would therefore love to fly it in FS. Seems only one version was made for fs2002, which doesnt behave well at all in fs9. Is anyone aware of an fs9 version out there? Would it be possible to adapt the existing fs2002 to fs9? and if so could anyone help? I contacted the designer but his email doesnt seem active anymore.
