Hi all,(@c:FlightPlanWaypointFrequency, MHz) gives a number like 230604000, knowing that the recognisable frequency should be 113.90We are trying to convert 230604000 to 113.90Does (A:NAV1 ACTIVE FREQUENCY,BCO16) produce a number in the same format as (@c:FlightPlanWaypointFrequency, MHz)?I have the formula,%((A:TRANSPONDER1 CODE,BCO16) d 16 % r 16 / intd 16 % r 16 / intd 16 % r 16 / int10 * +10 * + 10 * + )%!d!I was thinking that replacing TRANSPONDER1 CODE with NAV1 ACTIVE FREQUENCY would still give a valid result,if this is so, I was thinking I would get((@c:FlightPlanWaypointFrequency, number) d 16 % r 16 / intd 16 % r 16 / intd 16 % r 16 / int10 * +10 * + 10 * +)%!03…

If this has been covered before, I am sorry. I did search without success.Does anyone have a discription of how the fuel management is suppose to work. From what I can tell, you can only designate the tank(s) an engine will feed from. Where as I want to beable to turn a tank on/off and route to a particular engine. This is an excerpt from the panel sdk."Opens cross feed valve (when used in conjunction with

Hello All,I was wondering if anyone knows of an FMC which could be intergrated into the DF727 panel that has a moving map like the old SB had for flying on line? Or perhaps not even an FMC, just the moving map gauge which has all the info that the new SB has for intersections and such? Thanks in advanceClayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. The variable (A:GPS WP NEXT ID,string) shows the ID of this waypoint as a string of letters (e.g. EGSS). Is it possible to check the ID of the next WP against a given, and if true to associate an action to it. e.g.:------------------------------------------- (A:GPS WP NEXT ID,string) EGSS == if{-------------------------------------------but I cannot get it to work.Your help is very appreciated!Servus from ViennaErnestus

Has anyone experience of creating gauges using Borland C++Builder. I have Version 4 Professional?Alternatively, can anyone direct me me to a website with any information/advice about this?I've written in C and C++ for a few years but find the MS SDK and the program structure confusing to put it mildly. For example the main entry pointBOOL WINAPI DllMain (HINSTANCE hDLL, DWORD dwReason, LPVOID lpReserved)seems to be hidden away in the definition of GAUGE_TABLE_BEGIN() in gauges.h.

I have made a digital "Fuel Quantity" gauge for use with a two tank configuraion and I am using it on a number of aircraft panels. When I load an aircraft, with this gauge on the panel, it always has "Both Tanks" selected and this is what I want to happen. However, I just put it on a panel for the default FS9 Mooney Bravo, and when I load it, the "Right Main" tank is always selected. Does anyone know why this happens or of a bettter way to code the gauge?ThanksGauge code follows:Fuel Load (Gal)LR(A:FUEL TANK SELECTOR 1, enum)(A:FUEL TANK SELECTOR 1, enum)(A:FUEL TANK SELECTOR 1, enum)(A:Circuit general panel on, bool)(G:Var2) 0 == (A:Avionics master switch, bool) &&a…

Once upon a time, Discreet sought to find new ways to wring additional revenue from its older version of 3dSMax. A bit of creative thinking led them to the decision to offer a slightly altered (read: "dummed down) version to the gaming industry as a development tool, cleverly giving the "born again program" the name GMax (Game Max, get it?). Individual game makers could - for a hefty price - obtain the SDK that would allow them to develop their conversion plugins, and for a further hefty annual license fee, they would be allowed to distribute GMax and their in-house developed conversion plugins to their loyal customer base. Unfortunately, there was no great rush by gam…

A number of simmers I correspond with would like to know if there is someway to "dim" the back lighting in default gauges such as the Attitude Indicator, Altimeter and Situation Indicator so they are not so bright at night. In a dark 2D cabin they really are VERY bright!Or is this factor hard coded into the default gauge and thus not editable by the average user? Most of us use a "work around" by just reducing the contrast settings on our monitors but this creates its own set of problems with items such as scenery beacon lights not displaying properly.Any help or ideas would be appreciated! If some one comes out with a set of replacement default gauges they sure would mak…

1.If && is written as "ampersand amp; ampersand amp;"how is "or" written? 2.What are the parameters needed to draw a vector arc. I need a circular arc that spans 300-degrees.3.Okay, I lied about two question. Where can you find more details regarding vectors. A bit of info is found here but mostly it is a discussion between folk that already know vectors and it's hard to follow their conversation. Thanks,Glenn

Dear All,I'm just wondering (and think it's a good idea) if it is possible to include clickable doors etc. so that when I am in spot view I can move my mouse over a door / hatch, click on it and it will open / close. It would probably be the same concept as the virtual cockpit. Perhaps an additional 'invisible' paint layer could be added so this could be achieved. Is this at all possible???Mark Hardy...Novice!

what causes certain aircraft to be invisable from the cockpit view?i can see them from an external view, but not when in the cockpit.same thing with the landing lights, external view..shining bright, in the cockpit..no landing lights.odder still i can see the invisable planes navigation and strobe lights, but no plane.do invisable planes reflect a problem with the invisable plane or the user plane? same question about the landing lights...can it be fixed?

gauge0=Gaugesdsd_window_status!window_0, 1,1,2,2,MINIPANELident=MINIPANELThe gauge works like a Pip when the parameter in the panel cfg is a number but it doesn't see MINIPANEL. if this is a brickwall, is there some way to assign a number to the minipanel (numerical ident), and it still be accessable with the default 'w' key?

(A:ATTITUDE CAGE, bool)simplest of codes right? while on the ground the animation works fine, but when the gears come up the animated button goes to the off, position. the att gauge stays caged, i have a test gauge returning a '1' value for A:ATTITUDE CAGE, bool. i played with the frequency doest change anything. how odd. gets stranger, i can actuate the cage button on and off in flight, but the animation only works on the ground.

Here's one for you aircraft modeling gurus: I just got the DF727 and it seems like the rate of turn is very slow, even at large bank angles. I don't know if this is well-modeled or not. I was wondering what in the flight model controls this? Is it easily adjusted via the aircraft.cfg file? Mike

Hi Guys,I'm requesting that someone with good panel development skills develop for me a freeware MD-90 EFD panel for FS2004. Of course, it doesn't have to be 100% realistic, it just has to be at the same standard of the latest great quality freeware panels that we can find in the Avsim File Library. To describe it to you as simply as possible, it's basically almost identical in layout and instrumentation to the 717 panel, except this SV MD-90 panel has a standard (but probably with some changes) MD-90 autopilot MCP, a tan color panel (unlike the 717's grey background), and probably some other minor differences in the glass screens, pedestal panel, overhead panel, warning l…

Every so often, somebody pops into the forum with a request for a plane, or a panel or some other part of some sort. People's design ideas deserve to be heard. Just _not_ in the developer forum perhaps. It occurs to me that one way to "nip this in the bud" is to create a seperate "Wish List" sister forum in the MS conference. This list can then be used by anybody to post ideas and/or desires. Because it is simply a "wish" list, nobody would ever take offense to somebody's idea. A pinned posting in the developer forums would then direct those with design requests to the "Wish List". (Or maybe simply pin a thread called something like "AC Panel and Model Wish List", but leav…
