Hi all,Has anyone got K:ADF2_FRACT_DEC_CARRY to work? On my panel it seems to decrease ADF2 by 1 not 0.1. ADF_FRACT_DEC_CARRY works perfectly for ADF1.Many thanks,Paul.

I've gotten some panels recently, like the Nord 262, that don't respond to clicking on the hotspots or key commands to change frequencies. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks---->Coach

Percent thrust reverser nozzles deployedThis is the only mention I can find in the ms sdk about reversers; true enough there is no surer way for me to go brain dead then searching through the sdk. The mention listed is in the parameters section, I am working on a military jet and the Learjet or 747-400 throttle combination reverser won't do. I can not write to the listing above I tried xx (&gt: k;Percent thrust reverser nozzles deployed) and nothing happens. How do I write to the reversers? The project is a Saab Viggen and it has a bear of a reverser setup, and leaving it out of the panel is ignoring one of its main design features. Please help

Hi All,Ive been recently learning to use the "Heads up Dispay" packaged with the SkyDecks B737. ITS GREAT however, im finding out that the characters and symbols get distorted a bit when displayed against a grey sky or low visibility. Is this just an unfortunate fact of life with the "HUD"? Would a different display color make a difference? Thanks,Tom

I have made a EICAS and have made the bit maps for N1,N2,EGT and OT, Now I want to add Numbers like the default learjet and 747, but have never used text, so after looking thought the 747 EICAS I find the text and try to use it in my EICAS but can not get it to work, I no it is somthing I have done but what I do not know.I know the top half of the XML works as have made the bitmaps in seperate gauges to test they work. Now just need to add text.(A:Turb eng1 n1,percent) X="24" Y="10" Length="4" Font="Arial" Color="#FFFFFF" > %((A:Turb eng1 N1,Percent)abs)%!5.1f!Eng 1 N1

I have a model that's something around 70,000 polys. Whenever I export it some parts are always missing. Sometimes it's luck, but I wanted to know if there's any way to get all the parts to show, meaning export properly. So can I do something to get it to export properly, or, if it's a problem with my equipment, can someone do it for me?

Hi @ll,Just dropping in here I was suprised to see that an example on using the C: interface from XML gauges(ie C:someinterfacename:somevariable) has been posted in this topic:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...21558&mode=fullUnfortunately, the attachments are already deleted and not available. I would greatly appreciate if somebody could email me these attachments. My email address is: tommy(at)alliedfsgroup.comOf course I would be glad if somebody points me to an alternative URL where I could find these attachments. Thanks in advance for any help.Tommy

Hi all, when the gear doors are closing, and start to face skywards, they get more ambient illumination and so get bighter instead of in realty getting darker. Looks like there is a light in the wheel well. Anyone know a way of stopping light getting through the fusalage. Seems that any part pointing towards the sky get illuminated. I could acieve my goal by having an inner door skin changeing according to door angle, each with their own texture, but seems like cracking a nut with a sledgehammer.thanks, nick

Gentlemen ,In FS2000 we had the VS increasing and decreasing in steps of 50 FT while the plane was beloww 1000 FT in Altitude .How I can get this is FS 2002/2004, as the steps in these FS is 100 FT at any Altitude ?I have installed the AP of FS 2000 in FS 2002 and he works with steps of 100 FT as the AP default of FS 2002 .Is there any set up to be done in aircraft.cfg ? or in any other file ?Thanks and regards.Alberto Kunzel

Hi!After a long time not doing anything for flight simulator, I want to make some gauges in C.(I think I've now enough experience in that language to try again)I'm not too bad at XML, but I want to learn programming C gauges finally because of some advantages(e.g. sound)As my favorite compiler is Dev C++, I wanted to ask if it's possible to use this compiler for gauges too?Would be good if it's possible to use this compiler, otherwise I've to use MS Visual C++ 6.0, which I don't like too much.(but wouldn't be a too big problem;-))Regards,Harry

Hi!I've the following problem: When I read a token variable via lookup_var, the returned value is always 0 in this case! It worked with other tokens, but the token GENERAL_PANEL_CIRCUIT_ON always returns 0 even if it is 1.When I read the token via a macro, I get the correct state.(of course , I could take the value from there, but why should I if it would be much better via lookup_var...?!)Also a simple XML gauge returns the correct value. In the Gauge Creation Tut. it says that you should read the token and save it into a local variable to get around the zero-value problem. But it doesnt work. Here the not working code:case PANEL_SERVICE_PRE_UPDATE: lookup_var(&…

Hi all!I was just busy with the AirWrench tutorial for the PA-28 180 and got as far as bottom of page 8 and got stuck. If I may quote from the tutorial: "The surface areas of the stabilizers should not include the surface area of the elevator or rudder. Some reference books add the elevator and rudder area to the stabilizer areas, so it pays to double check your data." Now, I don't know much about aircraft, but I'm sure that on most of the Cherokee series the entire horizontal stabilizer is also the elevator. How would I handle that type of data entry? The other question that I have refers to the Aileron Parameters under the Maneuverability Tab. Does the Aileron Area refer …

I would like to let the user enter characters in the FMC through the keyboard. I know how to scan the keyboard using DirectInput, but I don't know how to know to what key a keystroke corresponds. For example, on a US keyboard, if I read the keystroke DIK_Q, I know the Q key has been depressed. But if the user has a French keyboard, the DIK_Q keystroke corresponds to the A key (French keyboard layout is AZERTY instead of QWERTY in the US).If you know how to make the matching, please let me know...Thanks.Eric
