Hello, I have recently found a video on youtube of a landing in KLAX on fsx and instead of using default scenery he was using Google earth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HfzDidYxXY is there any way I can use Google earth for my fsx I have searched through Google but I cant find anything.

Hello guys Can someone please suggest me a good Ai traffic addon please? An addon which provides almost all the liveries and all aircrafts types. I am currently using My Traffic 6 but i see some missing textures. for eg: there is Air Asia but not Air Asia India and there is GoAir but only the pink coloured texture whereas in realworld GoAir has blue, black, Red,etc. Even Etihad Airways is of old liveries and the A380 version can rarely be found in AbuDhabi airport. Can someone suggest a good addon?

hi, As seen from the screen shot the runway is totally obscured due to the papi lights due to which i am unable to line up with the runway as i cannot identify how the runway oriented VISUALLY. can anybody suggest a work for these high intensity papi lights. Hello: I have recently re-downloaded FSX-SE after a long absence...Everything seemed to go fine (I am using the default flight and this is a "virgin" install; no add ons at all) until I press the "Fly Now" button...The terrain begins to load quickly up to about 35% and then stops...Any idea what I might be doing wrong? (I have validated the files through the Steam website)...Thanks!

Evening I have been trying to perfect my crosswind landings to absolutely no avail. I'm flying the Aerosoft A321/A320. Could somebody give me some advice on the crab maneuver please. When there is a crosswind, I am attempting to point the noise into the direction of the wind in an effort to get that angle where the aircraft will fly straight. However, when I do this, the aircraft will never fly in the crab position. It drifts to the side I am pointing it into, thus, into the wind. Then, when I try to correct by turning into the opposite direction the wind together with my aileron cause me to drift to the opposite side. Does a 'crab' mean to dip the wings in…

Hey everyone, So I started noticing that some of my addon aircraft are suffering from what appears to be a font issue in the virtual cockpits. Anything that is supposed to have a digital appearance looks like Arial or Sans Serif. I honestly could not tell you when it started, as I just fired up the Maddog for the first time in at least 6 months, and magically my digital display fonts were all messed up. I also found this to be the case in my PMDG Jetstream 41, as well as the Carenado King Air B200. I just rebuild my i7-3770 Dell machine with Win 10 64bit and installed FSX-SE. I currently have hyper threading OFF. Is there any advantage to turning it on? Thanks in advance, Jim Driskell

When loading FSX you can get to the main menu when you try to load up the simulation by pressing fly now you just end up with a black screen you cant fly but if you go into settings and select preview directx 19 it will load up but the textures on downloaded add-ons wont display you just get a white plane

I have noticed sometimes when I minimize FSX to the taskbar and then go back to the taskbar to reopen it FSX refuses to open, I then have no choice but to force a close. I read somewhere that this is a known problem with Win. 7 and 10. Does anyone have any fixes for this?

It usually hangs on 6% for a short time which is normal, but this stays at 43% and that's as far as it goes. Just prior to that I checked the validity of the ORBX Files.

I have a fairly high end gaming computer. My FSX SE Settings are not maxed out. While in flight I noticed the buildings are little black boxes. I suspect it's my Nvidia Settings or maybe one setting that needs to be changed. Any ideas on which setting needs to be looked at first?

Hello everyone I have a problem regarding certain airports with ai. I am using My Traffic 6 in FSX. Everything seems to work fine but in an airport of Goa/VOGO i find that most of the Ai traffic are military aircrafts. I also found out that the Goa airport is a joint military/civilian airport with two ICAO codes VAGO & VOGO where both military and civilian aircrafts arrive and depart but incase of My Traffic 6 i see only military aircrafts in the airport. I used other addons like WOAI and ### AI. Both worked fine in Goa airport but i want to use My Traffic. Is there a way i can do something to get civilian AI too in the airport or just replace civilian ai with th…

During descent, I often have trouble with descending to an altitude by a certain waypoint. It is really stressful as I am constantly changing the V/S to be on track. VNAV and LNAV for some reason never seem to achieve the correct altitude by the waypoint in the FMS. When I am being vectored I can not descend on time, and on my own with the FMS, VNAV and LNAV can not descend and maintain speed as designated in the FMS. Any tips to make the last 15 minutes of my flight less of a stressful time and as "relaxed" as the other half of my flight?

Hi guys, I got a problem with clouds in fsx. My clouds look thin almost in a straight line. I used to have beautiful clouds but all of a sudden they're reduced to misery. I first used ASNext which just faded" and I couldn't recover it. Then I got Rex4 Weather Architect. I use it sometimes. Anyway no clouds or very little of it. Very frustrating and unreal. I recently installed a new system HD in my box and did a clean install of Windows 10 64 bit home edition. I'm now ready to reinstall FSX Acceleration on the SSD that previously held it. I had a collection of scenery odds and ends in my previous FSX installation but I'm looking for recommendations for this new install. Dear reader, After installing Aerosoft F16 Falcon (and the updates) in the FSX:SE simobjects/airplanes map I can only choose 3 airplanes in the FSX-SE "free flight" menu. Those are Texture.NSAWC_Blue and Texture.NSAWC_Brown of the Aerosoft F-16A 9 plane and the Texture.Shaw_20FW of the Aerosoft F-16C 120-9-88-370-184 plane. What could be wrong ?

I have just purchased the new EZDOK v2.6 and installed into FSX:SE. I am trying to set up the camera sets with some of my aircraft. Aerosoft A321 at the moment. I am able to set up all of my cameras correctly with various settings however, I am not able to cycle through the views in the virtual cockpit category. When I use the preset 'A' key it cycles through the cameras that you can see when you right click the mouse button and highlight cockpit. I have also assigned a joystick key to 'NEXT CAMERA IN CATEGORY' this does the same thing. I have deleted all of the preset cameras in the EZDOK Virtual Cockpit window too. Hello, guys! A question... it's happening with me the "stuttering" when using the mouse on FSX (boxer version, i didn't have time to move to FSX:SE yet). Sometimes is impossible to move in the flightdeck, it looks like the mouse goes to 0fps or 2fps and the simulator continues on 25/30fps. This behavior is with any aircraft installed. Hi, I'm using Win7, FSX, ORBX and REX package. Just installed 'Mega Airport Zuerich V2.0' on my FSX. Works fine but one thing isn't ok. When I switched from FSX to FSX-Steam, a new logbook was created. It worked for a few flights, but no longer works. Please help.

FSX is stuttering, slow to load and although very rarely has crashed. Are there any CFG tweaks to speed up texture loading, and less stutters and lag spikes. It ruins the joy in flight and I would be grateful for any suggestions?
