Just made a new installation of FSX Steam version and for some reason, the throttles can't be taken out of idle. More accurately, they can be moved, but they snap right back into the idle position. At first, I thought it was an issue with my throttle quadrant but after disconnecting all my hardware, the problem still exists (including the default aircraft). So for instance, I can push the throttles forward with the mouse, but they just move right back to idle again. Strangely, the problem went away yesterday but it's back again today. Could this be an issue with Windows 10?

Validated FSX ok, however, when the acceleration pack was installed, no validation key is requested, and a "Trial expired" message ends my flight. How can I validate? I read of a fix that involves modifying a registry key, changing the word partmgr to PartMgr.. will this work? and if so, how do I enable editing of that word.... what option do I choose from the popup edit "NEW" menu? thanks xitop

Hello everyone, I am using GSX since a month. Now i am seeing something weird that whenever i request for boarding, i see only one cargo loader and sometimes just one catering vehichles too. Well i don't use any payware aircrafts. All of my aircrafts are freeware. I am having doubt wether i have changed a setting by mistake.

Can someone please tell me how to turn off the runway announcements that I hear when aligned on the runway? I'm running FSX-SE. Is the announcement specific to a particular aircraft or system wide? Thanks, Jim Driskell

I read an article here (Thank You) that suggests that: FSX is still alive because of so much passion from so many people. That L. Martin started Pr3p. but based on soft made be Microsoft. And because of that has some limitations. Conclusion: FSX or Flight Sim has not advanced so fast as it could be because Microsoft (We call it here (MOCOS SOFT) does not leberate their soft nor allows other to fully develop. Is there by chance a download for an airlines.cfg file that contains all (or most) airlines? I thought I saw one a while back but I can't seem to find it now.

Using these planes with GSX, but cannot open service and cargo doors, only the passenger doors. Shift + E is the only key I'm aware of for opening aircraft doors. Any advice from anyone? I cannot get help from Feelthere for some reason.

The steam opening screen has again reverted to the default view. Braden Bogdan fixed this before with an avsim download but the site referred to www.fsxworld.com has changed its address to www.flightsimulatorxworld.com therefore the fix no longer works. Could Braden or someone else follow this up? Regards Mike

For years I've been wanting this in FSX, seems FSDreamTeam may finally deliver animated people boarding the plane. They are calling it "GSX Level 2 expansion" which seems to amount to BOTH animate people and their SODE jetway(at any and all) airports Lots of details and questions on how comprehensive this will be but I will be keeping an eye on it for sure.

Hi, I am having an issue with a recently bought QW Avro I can carry out the cold & dark scenario but when I do the MCP and PDSTL is not showing any values all the buttons work on it but nothing shows in the display this type of display are the only ones not showing values. Has there been a fix provided for this in the past? Thanks.

Hi I'm sure I've set my system to the best of FSX, but I'm not satisfied. I've seen videos where it's all just running and I've doubted if my setup is optimal. Is there anyone out there who will just look at my CFG in comparison with my system and tell me what I'm doing wrong and how I improve it ? Cheers Rup

Hi everyone, not sure about the rest, but I enjoy mission add-ons to my FSX-SE, especially bush missions. I've had some great ones, like Air Alaska & Treasure Hunt, but my latest one, Beaver X Mission add-on seemed good for first few missions but now glitching. Main problem is objects not appearing where intended, like water not being where supposed to, so aircraft automatically in a "crashed" state & mission ends, or boats being about 100 ft above the ground. I ran my Steves DX10 fixer which always worked in the past but not this time. Sucks because it was fun while it lasted the 5 out of 12 missions. Just curious if anyone else runs into these issues with…

Hi Folks; I am thinking of purchasing the PMDG 747 V3 and was wondering how the performance (VC panel) is in terms of FPS killer. I have the 777 and I actually had to stop using it because of issues at detail add on airports. I am using the iFLY 747 which is also a big FPS killer but it's a little better that the 777. I have read a lot of reviews (including the one that was done by someone for this forum) but no verdict really on the FPS performance that I remembered I have the old PMDG 747 which is great on FPS but it's really dated, that's why I got the iFLY while waiting for V3 I know that there is a PMDG section on this forum but that seems to be more f…

Mind FSX. My target FPS are 30. I suffer when I can't reach them consistently, Other simmers speak about concentrating on smoothness rather than FPS counting. What do they mean by that? Is there a video telling the difference? Thanks.

With the lack of semi good ATC in XPlane, I have decided revert back to either FSX. Or P3D. One of the reasons I switched to XPlane is because of its multi monitor support. FSX was too stretchy producing poor multi monitor resolution skewing the images like a funhouse mirror. Is P3D any better? i am considering switching from the multi monitor configuration for a single projection system. Any my ideas on the best way to do this? Thanks!

I have a ton of payware and fortunately I have trouble with only a few serial numbers that are needed for the install. Two come to mind, both from Aerosoft. One is the Twin Otter X, which has over forty characters that make up the serial number. The other is the Discus which has over thirty characters. For some reason I can't copy and paste, so it has to be done manually. The characters are so small I need a magnifying glass held up to the monitor. Why are so many characters needed for a product not connected to our State Department or national security?

I try loading and flight plan an it loaded ok but when I went to flight route it way out by Africa and small red dot . Ok I am having an issue with the PMDG 777-200LR, (I am using Navgraph) When flying from KLAS-KLAX and I put KLAS into the FMC it shows KLAS rwy 8 N/A then if you clear the scratch pad and go to DEP and no sids on that page so I switched the airport to KSFO-KLAS all is good departing KSFO but the same happens when I attempt STAR to KLAS, I have updated Navgraph but no good so far, this will not occur in the PMDG 737, any suggestions? Hi everyone I just bought ans installed T2G Paris airport. I am using FTX Vector too. One of the terminals goes under the ground leving the jetways up. i thought its the FTX Vector causing problem but i disabled the LFPG in the Vector Config and still it occur. I am using MyTraffic 6 so i thought there maybe a BR2..LFPG.bgl file that creates a problem...and so i deleted the file but still it causes problem. Any idea on how to fix? This person had the same problem but i didnt find any solution in the forum.
