I did do a search on this and the results dated back to 2003 or so. So I'm asking again: has anyone created a fix for the runways 9/27 becoming 10/26 at Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood, and where can I get the fix? I'm running FSDT's KFLL airport, too, and they've been talking "fix" over there for a long time. When you're using Navigraph and Aivlasoft EFB, it sucks to be using a SID or a STAR and using 27 instead of 26, if ya know what I mean. Since I use this as my home airport, it's the only one I know with changed runway numbers, but I'd like to get it right, if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone I planned to buy payware sceneries for FSX as i am bored of the freewares. So as the prices are bit expensive for me as i live in India. I thought of buying some world's famous and major airports only. I am a bit confused about Heathrow Airport of London. I could find 2 versions of it. In which the Aerosoft's version has a file of 4GB and my friend said uk2000 version is just nearly 100mb. So that made me alot of confusion. What is the major difference in them? Hi Folks; So I loaded FSX as i normally do which loaded fine along with the add-on that are loaded when I initiate FSX. At the spinning plane screen I then launch ASN/AS16 like I normally do before I load a flight. As AS16 was loading i accidentally hit the reset button with my foot and my pc rebooted before AS16 can fully launch. It may be coincidental and may not have anything to do with the issue. After my PC came up (which it did in a normal mode) I launched FSX and then launched AS16 in the same sequence and the got the message "the dll.xml file needs to be fixed or delete" "SimConnect cannot connect" so AS16 never connected with FSX. I am using FSXSE and I am wondering if there are settings for a 55 inch curved monitor and dealing with Virtual Cockpit to make it more proportional. I know I can press and hold the <shift> <-> to reduce the size, but just wondering if you can set it in the aircraft for FSXSE config file. Also, it seems like the horizon is "sky" heavy or top heavy regarding the point of view of the sky.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I started using FSUIPC 4.974 (Feb.2018) with Mindstar G1000 on FSX-SE and noticed that the assignments of buttons and switches on the yoke, which worked well with the default Microsoft G1000, do not work anymore. For instance, I had two switches assigned with "Heading Bug Inc" and "Heading Bug Dec" from the FSUIPC menu for rotating the heading bug, or another button for starting and stopping the timer by assigning "G1000 Pfd Enter Button". They don't work with the Mindstar product. A couple of lua scripts which use offsets stopped working too. I wonder if there is a solution? Any advice will be much appreciated! Val

Hello guys I am planning to buy a good weather addon. An addon that gives a good realistic effect. I heard about REX Simulations. I searched and read about the feautures and also saw some videos on it on youtube. I like it and its really amazing except for one thing. REX does not have the whiteout effect that happens while flying through the clouds. Is there any addon that provide such effect?

I know this has been discussed many times but i can not find the answer so i need some help. Im currently running FSX/SP1 & 2. Thinking of switching to Acceleration. My question is- On acceleration, i know there is a setting of engine stress causes damage. This is not a setting with regular FSX. So, will the gauges actually be more true and realistic, or will they stay in the green always? For instance- if i run at full power during or after takeoff for extended periods of time, will it cause the engine to over torque or lose power? After about a year flying only the Aerosoft Airbus A321.I went back to the Learjet.(FSX-SE) Now I find the Gear is stuck in the down position, regardless if I use the 'G' Key or as I normally do the F8 Key on my Black Widow Flight Stick. The Three Lights stay Green but the Panel Gear lever does move up and down. When landing I get the message "Gear UP" but it is Down. Any Ideas please? I had tried the Boeing 747 before the Learjet and that was OK. Regards Corrie

When I am on approach all seems fine, and i seem perfectly aligned with the runway centerline, although as i get closer I end up either left or right, is it wind correction or am I doing something wrong? I am flying the PMDG 737

Hey guys Can someone please help me with Ut2? Please tell how it works. After installing does it include all the models and liveries of every aircraft? Do I have to add liveries of each and every aircraft like in WOAI? The reason why i am seeking help is i have installed it and i can find aircrafts only in some major airports of the world like Dubai OMDB. Other airports like Mumbai VABB, some parts of MiddleEast and South Asia i can find any traffic or just one or two aircrafts in an airport. So is there something that i am missing?

After a great research and comparison of UT2, WOAI and MT6, i finally felt MT6 is much better than other in terms of schedules and traffic density. The texture quality is not that good but still fine. There is a small unrealistic thing in MT6. At night times all the AI aircraft's lights are switched on irrespective of wether they are on taxiway or runway or ready for pushback or just parked at the gate. Is there a way to turn off their lights when they are parked and get them on when they ready for pushback?

Hello, Could someone help me? recently someone very dear to me has lost his laptop hdd with no posibility to recover anything he had inside, including his FSX installation and all (don't know which ones) the old airports that had dissapeared in real world (i think maybe are old airports tha dissapeared from previous FS versions). When I installed the Scenery Configurator I noticed that none of my Orbx is listed. I have several Orbx Scenery's in both FSX SE and Prepared. Will I have to manually add each one or is there a quicker way.

After downloading and installing the above AI aircraft I realised that it doesn't appear in FSX. The aircraft appears sunk and running uncontrolled below airport apron. As I suspect contact points wrong values in aircraft.cfg, I 'd be grateful if somebody sends to me his working aircraft.cfg file to check. Thanks for your time.

Greetings, After buying LatinVFR-Miami I got again OOM problems landing at KMIA after departing FSDT KORD, I decided too start to monitoring the VAS and for my surprise after made an initial load of a free flight with PMDG 737 parked at KMIA my VAS was already in 3.4 GB, I made a flight to FSDT KJFK, and I was able to land without any OOM problems but during all flight the VAS was arround 2.5 GB and when I landed in JFK it reached again 3.4 GB, is this a normal behavior of FSX? Hi there I am new to fly the 737 ngx, so I have more topics, please be patient to me and if you can help me I will be more than happy. In my last flight, just before landing I want to change speed and disengage the AP, but the mouse cursor didn't change to hand cursor so I could not deal with plan, so my landing was bad. Second problem, on approach to runway, with G\S active (capture), the plane didn't reach the touchdown zone and land before. thanks Aviv shefer

Resurrecting this thread as I finally decided to do something about the too-white houses in the UK. The main offending file (for UK) seems to be BLDk2.dds in the main FSX Texture folder. The textures for houses are at the top. Editing the white ones to brick makes a big improvement. There are still some others out there that I might go after, but for the time being I'm happy !

Hey guys i just downloaded a freeware scenery of OMSJ Sharjah. It was meant for FS9 and i am having FSX. I was having doubt that it may not work but it did except for the parking area. Everything is perfect. The terminals, jetways, runways and taxiways, etc. The only thing is the area of gates and parking. I can see blackout in the ground. I dont want to giveup on this scenery. Is there a way to fix this small problem? Is there any dll or anything that can fix this?

Hi Folks; I want to purchase a scenery package for FSX and was wondering which one i should buy. Money is not the issue however my criteria is a little unique I prefer performance over looks. I am right on the edge with FPS and shuttering given what I already have on my system I fly in and out of add-on airports only with PMDG 777 and iFLY 747 V2 (with that combination along you are already stating on the edge) AS16; REX4 Texture Direct with Soft Clouds; ATC (always fly with it) With any level of cloudy weather and descending into a place like NYC and I am in the teens with FPS with my Auto Gen density slider at "normal" I can't…

Am using FSX SE. Yesterday I was flying DFW to IAH in the default 738, with wind direction from 270. Was assigned ILS rwy 26R. The default G500 does not show 26R, but does show 8L. The in game map does show 26R with 111.55 Frequency. So I entered 111.55 in NAV 1. With APP engaged the airplane turned the opposite way(away from 26R) when it encountered the Localizer and the ALT HLD disengaged immediately. I re-flew the approach twice more - same thing each time. Could someone please - 1. Verify that in the G500 IAH 26R is not listed? 2. Try that 26R ILS approach to see if it works properly for them? Some of my buildings are black squares when I'm in the air looking down. I don't have that problem in PREPAREDv4. I would show a pic. but I can't.

I recently tried to install the RealAir Piston Duke and got an error message from the installer that It could not conect to the Interner. That is weird since I was browsing for other stuff on Chrome. My believe is that the servers that verify the software had been taken down. I email RealAir about the issue is been 5 days and haven't heard anything back. Word of advice If you have this bird make a copy on the Unpacked form just in case your installer does not work ether. I just hope that RealAir provides a new installer for the Customers that purchase the Piston Duke.
