Captains, I'm afraid this problem has resurfaced. I had FSX Acceleration installed and properly activated on my PC - on the c:\ drive in the default path. It has run over several years with very good stability but my hope was that SE would allow me to push the limits of the various settings and on Tuesday last I bought and installed Dovetail Games FSX Steam Edition (SE) from the Steam Shop. Hi! I've been all over the internet searching for AI taxi speed and time out patches for FSX Steam but can't seem to find any. Is there any workaround to this? A taxi speed and timeout patch will greatly reduce the rate of go arounds in the airport. Thanks!

Until about two weeks ago, I had not used my flight sim for about six months although, during that time, I had continued to purchase products. When I got back my enthusiasm a couple of weeks ago, I installed and tried most of those purchases. Most of them were airports and, therefore, I was checking that they had gone automatically into Scenery Library and I had to do the "Add Scenery" exercise with those which had not. They all found there way there. Everything went okay for a couple of days and then FSX closed down with an Out of Memory message. The next time I checked the Scenery Library via Settings, everything in the Scenery Area column was blank …

After having difficulty with removing some scenery in fsx, the Scenery Config Editor v1.0.4 is now reading "Error: view is disabled as scenery has structural errors." To get back to normal should I disable the scenery.cfg in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX. and let FSX build another one? Or is it more complicated. Any advice will be appreciated.

My favorite aircraft is the Lear 45. I have recently installed the ISG1 gauages set and i found a retrofit panel.cfg in their library by E.Alston http://www.isgsim.com/?page=panel_library&sub=retro_fsx_lear45 However, this panel does replaces the default guage that indicates engine power, flaps setting etc... (i don't know the name) with a navigational display. Although it is a nice ND, the user has no way of knowing the current flaps, engine, spoilers, etc... setting the plane is at. I don't see many complaints here, but I am getting to the point I don't want to fly anywhere due to the frequent, and massive, pauses, stutters and surges particularly around FS Dream Team Airports. I tried disabling all 3rd party airports and still had a few minor stutters and pauses, but nothing like arriving at, FSDT Memphis!! There it get's ridiculous about 14mi out! Leaving from those airports isn't quite as bad as arriving, but still very annoying! I don't remember having near as many of these in W7, but I'm now on Windows 10 with a new, high end system less than a year old. Is Windows 10 part of the problem?? I had an earlier, similarly related thread I started back in April, but trying to resurrect it recently didn't result in any replies. Anyhow...I'm hoping my cute subject line might have got people's attention, because I'm at wits end with this problem. I've now tried with 2 different fan-made seaplane scenery addons, to add Vancouver Seaplane (CAM9) while still keeping Vancouver Intl (CYVR) as a selectable current location for a Free Flight. The problem is, the moment I copy a CAM9 BGL file(s) {1 addon has a single AF2_CAM9.BGL, while the other has a AFX_CAM9.BGL + CAM9.BGL} into my \Addon Scenery\Scenery folder, CYVR is no longer selectable as a Current Location fo…

I am looking for the most realistic planes in FSX and Prepar3d V4. I have build my list, but I am not sure if I do have it wrong on some points. And would like to verify that. In short realistic and good quality from good to bad. Carenado is good looking, but the flightmodel and system depth are mediocre. I purchased Active Sky Next yesterday & I'm receiving this message whenever I start FSX:SE "Flight Simulator is attempting to start "as_btsrp_config_manager (Version 1.0.0.1, Config Entry Number 2). I had Freight Dogs for FS9/2004 and it was by far my favorite Add-on. I'd read somewhere that the creator or owner had some unfortunate mishap, that caused the FSX edition of it to be lost to the FSX community. I had great fun with it -mostly because I'm a bush piloting fan- and really miss it. For those unfamiliar with the add-on; it provided an applet that could be accessed in flight from the FS9 menu. That applet let you choose a departure and destination airport and spec a cargo type/weight. It would then place that cargo at some point in the airport, which you'd need to taxi to have it loaded. As I had to reinstall FSX a few weeks ago I "lost" the sibwings an2. Unfortunately I had no backup. The support is not reacting for emails (I tried it 2 days ago), the forum is dead and they have no download for it on there homepage. Do you guys have an idea for getting it back in the air? Hello, I have been previously able to add new pages on the system panel. Has this changed that you can now only have maximum of 3 pages on the system panel. I tried to add a new page as a .pg file but it's not read by the system panel at all unless I disable one of the default system panel pages. So there is nothing wrong on my file as it works normally as soon as I disable one of the default pages. / Jouka

While trying to assign the main wheel brakes to my pedals via the external interface I came across the following problem. I used the following lines to assign the brakes to my hardware pedals. J0_Y=FlightControls_->sensors.BrakeL0_ADC J0_X=FlightControls_->sensors.BrakeR0_ADC This at first seems to work and I can see my brake movement on the flight control page of the control panel. Hello and help. I recently applied a fan-made patch to realign and correct coastal seaports in British Columbia. But now when I select Vancouver International (CYVR) as my starting airport, my aircraft is splashed down in the adjacent seaplane port on the Fraser River - quite a realignment! lol The seaplane port, despite using the same YVR identifier is a separate airport selection in the FSX drop-down. I'm hoping someone here can give me the name of the config file I should open and some indication as to what the correct entries should read like. Hi, I have posted in their own forum for a while but he could not fix it and seems ignoring me, I am very frustrated and just does not want to come back there. I wonder if anybody has the same issue with me. My FSX:SE has been very stable, whenever there is a problem I can spend days to solve it before having any flight. However, with FSDT products I am unable to solve it or have any control of its stability. Most of the time it works fine, but every now and then it suddenly stops working. Hello, i have for a while been flying the Airbus x and the PMDG NGX, and i want to try something new. I'm looking for a regional jet, and a plane for long haul. So do you have any recommendations?

I am looking for only FSX driven helicopter sims. A number claim FSX but then if you read close enough they throw in this..Oh, by the way, you kinda need "Steam" or an acceleration pack or some other thing. Last purchase was from Nemeth. MD500 (FSX only) claims the page. Read down, again FSX only. Purchase, open and BAM..."this install requires "Steam". I don't want Steam ! I would have more trouble than its worth with the number of add ons I have now. I just would like to be able to believe what the designer says....FSX ONLY!
