Sorry, I've been off FSX for several weeks now, and in the meantime I've watched lots of aviation videos. When I compare those from real world with others that show the same or a similar situation in FSX, I almost always have the impression that in reality, turn radii are much tighter than in the sim. E.g. the visual circling approach to Innsbruck rwy 08 (after leaving the ILS to rwy 27): Whereas in reality, a 737-800 makes such a tight right turn that it ends up well to the right of the centerline of rwy 08, in FSX, you find yourself displaced a good amount to the left of it. Hi folks Having bought this, i can see it has SERIOUS potential but i could do with some help please? It's the camara views I seem to be REALLY struggling with. I have removed Ezdok AFTER resetting the views to default;-) I've printed and read the manuals but seem to have some kind 'mental block' creating and saving VC views:-( Are there by chance, any tutorial videos around? At this stage it's difficult to describe what mean. I know it'll be me and NOT the program.

Hello I was just wondering if any one know where i can get something similar to this APP for FSX but free ?? For all to read It seems like it has been released. I checked simmarket only a few minutes ago and it is there. Added to the shop on december 14th it says on the product page. Hello everyone, I cannot turn on V/S and Hold ALT button with turned on L CMD on autopilot of Level-D Boeing 767-300! But It worked without setting CDU (FMS) before this! Instead of holding ALT on autopilot, Level-D falls down slowly. :huh: Is there any fix? Thanks for reply! - Artem,

I have noticed that when I close FSX, OpusFSX automatically closes as well. Is there an override or parameter I can set so that OpusFSX will remain open? By the way, I just purchased Opus this last week and am very impressed with the weather generation engine. Kudos!

I would just like to say THANK YOU to all the developers that continue to bring us new products and realism to FS. Without you all FS would be pretty dual....! P.S. don't want to leave out the individuals that continue to provide tweaks/fixes and help in these forums... Have a happy holidays and New Year... I have found that FSX fun fast on first time use But slow so slow when I tried to run FSX on the 2nd use. Does anyone know why it is happening? Thanks

What are folks using for flying around this area with GA aircraft under VFR ? Looking to expand my flight area from the PNW given the poor weather during the winter there (and the fact that I like using real weather).

Hi I have UT2, had it a few years now. It has served me well, but lately I am not getting traffic in all my payware airports like, Corfu, Antalya, KOS as a few examples. I know I can go and create flight plans and new planes etc but I looked at the instructions to do that and I dont have time to do all that, so I want to move away from UT2 to something simpler. So I was wonderign if someone could suggest a Traffic program that does the following Injects Traffic in all airprots, does not have to be real flight plans. so long as we get traffic. Injects traffic that is correct for the Airport location, I.e Lots of Olympus in Greece, Turkish Airlines at Antalya …

First of all, thank you for this excellent addon! This have revolutionized weather for FSX! I have a couple questions regarding winds aloft and weather updates though. Firstly, i`m right now cruising at FL370 just off the NW tip of Spain enroute to LPMA. The observed wind is 283\20 but on the winds aloft charts from the met office the wind should be in the 50+ knots range, the direction seems to be right though. The wind strength has been "stuck" at 20 knots for the last 5-600 miles or so with a few changes in direction underway. I tried refreshing weather and restarting Opus but to no avail. Hi I'm really enjoying flying the default 737 at the moment but I was wondering how close it flies compared to PMDG. I am well aware of the quality of the PMDG model but was just curiuos as how well the default 737 flies in regards to take off power, climb and cruise etc, are there any tweaks out there that can be done to make it better. Hi I am not sure if this is the correct place to be posting this, so feel free to move it if needed. I recently started playing FSX and now am addicted. I have been downloading Aircraft from the File Library and have a question on a few that act up. First is the Lockheed 9 Orion - orion_v1.zip - The propeller is just a black saucer. Second is the Beechcraft B1900D - b19alabx.zip - Missing gauges and black gauges. Third is the Evektor EV-55 - ev-55_outback_fsx.zip - Black gauges/screens. Last but not least, how do you do about deleting a plane that was installed with a .exe? Thanks

Good evening and greetings from FL230! I was hoping to get some opinions or tips/suggestions on why FSX slows down at certain airports. I experience this at large airports like KORD, KDTW, KATL and I am sure I will experience it at KJFK. My specs and add-on's are attached to my profile. I would be surprised if this can be altered, but very often after landing in the early morning, say around 5.00 a.m., and taxiing in, all runway, taxi, and building lights turn off. I find it difficult to then see the yellow taxi line, and everything in the Sim. is simply too dark. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to set the trigger that does this to a later time, perhaps just one hour later would fix the problem. Any thoughts?

Bojote, NickN and Word Not Allowed ( as well as innumerable others on this forum) have all offered options to manipulate the FSX .cfg to obtain optimum FSX performance. Over the life of FSX, and several system mods, I've experimented with all, and finally settled on the settings of one of the aforementioned "Big Three". My system is i7-950 based at 4.2Gig coupled with an GTX-850 video. I have more add-ons installed and activated than I care to admit and run Opus weather on the on the FSX computer. I have been getting uncommanded engine failures on the jet aircraft within FSX, helicopters and piston engine aircraft not being affected. These random failures happen whilst the aircraft is on the ground, during climb out, descent or on approach. When in cruise there are no failures. Failures can be just to one engine and on restart everything is fine or in a series of multiple engine failures which makes the sim unworkable. As soon as you get an engine restarted other engines shut down. I have never set up any failures in the system and being an airliner enthusiast it is spoiling my sim enjoyment. Hi I have 2x GeForce GTX 580 SLI setup and 2 Monitors, 1 Dell UltraSharp U3011 30” and 1 Gateway XHD3000 monitor. My MB is the Asus P9X79, 8GB RAM, Windows7 64Bit. I use my system predominantly for Photoshop and Microsoft's FSX which I have setup twice on the same computer, once on a 120GB SSD and another (newer fresh installed version) installed on a 500GB SSD because the smaller 120 GB SSD is almost full. Do I win the award for most messed up screenshot with this one? Any help appreciated, have just installed the Duke Turbine and this is what I get sitting on the active runway @ KSEA. Obviously 2 different problems here. I have UTX, GEX, FTX PNW, and FS Genesis installed as the relevant add-ons in this screenshot. Also running DX10 with no problems elsewhere.

OK so there is a Carenado sale which is offering very good discounts. Here is a list of aircraft that I was considering for purchase. Any inputs as to this selection?
