Hi I programmed a flight from Charles De Gaulle to Birmingham in the PMDG with ORBX EU and Opus last night as I wanted to see how realistic it looked at EGBB as it was really foggy. I have to say it looked sensational ....... Thanks Steve and Cheryl for this fantastic add on. I have been looking through your files in the live weather pdf about creating your own imported file. As this flight was so realistic I want to fly it again and again. Is it possible to create a metar with fog with low visiblity and if so could you show me an example of a metar ? Thanks Paul

I am so blown away by Opus FSX that I had to climb to the mountain top and yell it for all to hear. Very seldom does a FS addon live up to all the hype and very seldom does an FS addon come around that is a must have so when it does it is a big event. Well as a skeptic I have to say that Opus must be seen to be believed! I purchased Opus and figured at the very worse I'd simply get my money back if it is no better (or worse) than AS 2012. I have a question about FSX lights. I have REX Essentials Plus and OD and when I am on the tarmac the runway lights are almost cockpit high in my Bonanza. Is there a fix for this.

Dear all, I am building a new PC mostly aimed at FSX...should I install w8 or stay with good old w7. I run the typical add-ons . NGX (and most of the PMDG planes), AS2012, EZdok , aerosoft and UK2000 sceneries , FSUIPC. Thanks for your help Best Fulcrum

Hi, I have some problems with a few sceneries so I tried to find out a solution, the last thing that's left is to keep the default traffic.bgl in the scenery\world folder, since I don't want to reinstall (installing the addons alone takes a few hours), I wanted to copy the bgl file from the FSX dvd directly, so my question is if someone knows on which dvd I can find the traffic.bgl (i have fsx gold -acceleration included 3dvd version)

I have recently purchased the PMDG JS41 and am really disappointed with the FPS. I do not have FPS problems with any other add-on aircraft including the Flight1 Mustang. Is something not set up properly? My system specs are... I7 3770K 3.9 GHZ 16 GB Ram Nvidia 670 2 gb Any help is apprecaited. Thanks, John

I downloaded the FSX Falcon 50 collection from simvation, but when I went to install it the VC was missing and the planes didn't have any textures. What did I do wrong? Does the Falcon 50 actually work in FSX? Thanks, John

Hi I have just purchase the biggest computor out there and want to swtich from FS 9 to FSX. In the past I purchased a lot of FS9 addon and I was wondering which one should I used for the best experience with FSX? My ATC window keeps messing itself up, no matter how often I fix it. This may have to do with me running FSX on two monitors, and often shuffling the windows around (as well as resizing them), so I'm out of hope that I can get a permanent fix for this. Are there any third party programs or utilities out there that use an alternative window (perhaps within their own application)? I'm aware that alternative ATC programs exist, but I'm afraid they'll use the same window as FSX, so that wouldn't help much. I wouldn't mind spending some money on a better ATC, but (even though I know it's not realistic) I would like to be able to read the messages (i.e. just voice c…

Hey Guys Is this still required in FSX? The reason i ask is that since my reinstall of FSX some months ago i have not had it in my FSX file and have had no menu crash or black screens etc. I used to use it and realise it is essential (or was) for reliable running of FSX. Anyone heard recent news on its use?

Hi. Since I re-installed FSX following an H/D failure, I now get the message "Unable to capture screenshot" whenever I press the "v" key to take a snapshot. Anyone any ideas? Thanks. Kevin O'Connell

Hi all, I am having a bit of trouble with OrbX England. I am new to the sim and have done a lot of tweaking, but for some reason my OrbX takes ages to load. When I take off, the textures are quite blurry and if I pause they slowly come into focus around me. Is there a known tweak to speed this up/store more in video memory? I have run Venetubo tweak. I just had the scareiest landing into Heathrow. I just landed in real weather with flog. I could not see outside. I had to look at my instuments and it was only at about 500ft I can just see the runway lights.

I'm getting back into FSX and was amazed that my search of the file library didn't turn up a replacement Citi Field for Shea Stadium. Anyone know of a good payware or freeware package that removes Shea and adds a decent model of Citi Field?

G'day all, my apologies if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move new here too.. I've started the game fsx over the last month or so, started in small planes, mostly Cessna , Beech-craft etc and done some of the lessons up to the helicopter stage,.. but I'm having trouble with jets ,like the bombardier Lear jet 45 and even the commercial airlines like Boeing 737 etc I cant seem get rid of the over-speed warning , which just seems to stay on. If i drop the speed pressing the F1 button I can sometimes end up in a stall , get my speed back and then the over-speed happens again.. Hey guys, As i use air hauler a fair bit, i want to know how to program fsx to also automatically load the following: Shade Opus Ai traffic Is there a way to do this, because i think air hauler just points to the fsx.exe file. I hear a few people on the forums talking about a file or code to use to make it run all with one click but i dont know how to do this. Also, it seems like you need to have shade load first, then fsx...is there a way to point air hauler there first? Hope this makes sense, any help is much appreciated! Thanks, Alex Ps win7 OS

Hi All I was just wondering if there was any sort of texture update/upgrade for the snow in FSX. Ive googled with no luck. I don't even know if the snow in fsx is just a couple of bmp's or something. But it would be nice to have something that was a bit more snow like? A little bit more white and fluffy maybe thats the way to put it. Was looking around for the above to see if there is a all-in-one that someone compiled. I've only seen bits and pieces and to be honest, I am not even sure a posky model will work with the default crj-700 VC. Can anyone confirm or deny or better yet a link where maybe a complete install is available. How do I assign buttons like the GF modules to assign either the 182T or the Mustang from Flight 1 to operate its Auto Pilot? I did what I did to assign GF to operate Reality XP G530W. I basically assigned some key strokes using FSUIPC to the H/W GF Buttons. Then assigned those keys in its ini file under the gauges folder found here F:\FSX\Gauges\flight1_garminG1000_AUX.
