I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question buy I try anyway. Attached is a chart of Palma de Mallorca,STAR RWY 24L/R North,East and I wonder what a) The term SLP means ( see Speed box on the left side of the chart ) B) I see a STAR ( in bold letters ) called MORSS 1P and above MORS1P. Same with RIXOT 1P and RIXO 1P Why the two designations ? Which one is the actual STAR ? I am somewhat confused and appreciate ypur help Hubert Werni

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this; I noticed the other day while flying the realair Duke B60 that when I switch on the landing light on my saitek switch panel, only the left landing light illuminates. In the VC, there are 2 switches for the landing lights; one for the left side and one for the right side. Is there any way to have them 'connected' so that when i flip the switch both landing lights illuminate at the same time? If not, I can just keep doing it the way I have been by switching on the second light in the VC....thanks in advance!

Hey guys, looking into treating myself this christmas. im getting a new laptop which is faster and will run FSX a lot better than this pile of... anyway, i was thinking about treating myself to a joystick or something? so thats why im here. what do you guys suggest? thank you for your help

I downloaded a couple aircraft and there is no ATC panel in either (B-2 & T-38). Is it possible to add this feature and does anyone know how I might do it? Many thanks

Hello I've yet to get this software but have been showing interest in it and on the whole it seems impressive but my question is i wonder what the performance drain is. I ask this because when i use REX+ with alot of clouds i get a FPS drop (also when entering them). Clouds being a known hit on FPS. I've seen some great overcast and cloudy skies with Opus which really adds to the immersion but there must be some hit on performance with all those clouds but i hear no one complaining of performance issues. So is this the case? Thanks.

Hi, Does anybody know if it is possible to insert an alternate destination into an FSX .pln file? I don't need it for the FSX planner; it is more for the flight plan import option in FSRealWx to get correct winds aloft/temp for FMC entry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi folks, I have run into an unfortunate situation, one that will cause me to reinstall FSX, a tedious and painful experience for me because I have so many addons. Ever since I built my I7/windows 7 64 system back in April 2010, I have not had a reason to reinstall FSX. Before that time, I would tend to reinstall every few months because of various issues, such as tweaking and messing things up, or because I had hardware failures. But that lucky streak of a stable OS/FSX installation has ended, as I was hit with a nasty zbot virus on my OS drive. Morning all, wondered if anyone could assit on this Running overclocked clocked 4.5 3770 with a nvidia 680gtx, copy of cfg file below. 16Gig Ram Occasionally i get vertical flickers on screen of graphics, look a bit like spikes, often when coming into land. What an incredible airplane!!! These guys have thought of everything, not just the airplane but the stuff behind it and how to communicate it to you. WOW, they are good. The HD textures give me OOM's but that's my bad, not there's. This is just good stuff. Or did I miss that already? here it is... ummm, my bad, guess I don't know how to post pictures. Getting confused which settings to use Nvidia 680GTX 4Gig video card 3770 overclocked to 4.5 16GIG Ram SSD I have tried Bufferpools=0 and =1 both give me graphic spikes I have tried UsePools=8388608 with RejectThreshold=262144 which seems to help a bit, but what figure should I use here? On other posts I have seen UsePools=8500000000 which is a much higer number Any help appreciated, I thought a powerful pc would solve all my problems! Cheers all Steve

I have a new laptop with windows 8 (asus g75v ) for gaming, and NVidia gtx 670m graphics. I installed fsx gold and when I am a minute into the game a message comes up "Microsoft flight simulator has stopped working" this program has found a problem. it gives me a prompt to close down the program to the desktop. Is there a fix or at least a workaround so I can play this game in the windows 8 enviorment? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The default behaviour when you switch on the AP in FSX with no modes selected is pitch hold and wing level hold and there is generally nothing in the annunciator panel to show that these conditions have been set. I can see that this configuration is useful after take-off to maintain runway heading and a good climb rate but to me it makes more sense that you switch the AP on, then select the modes that you want the AP to use, with the settings clearly showing on the panel. I was hoping someone could let me know how the autopliot in RW GA aircraft is configured to behave when the AP is activated but no modes seleted.

Hi Just wondered what people's opinions were of this add on, especially in comparison to the 737NGX. Since I got the NGX it's all I want to fly due to the level of immersion and quality of the VC. How does the MD-11 stack up? Will I be liable to disappointment with the VC quality having been spoiled with the NGX? Thanks

Hi people, first of all I' m from Brazil and my English is not so good, sorry for the mistakes. I just bought a new computer for gaming and installed a clean FSX(no addons) but I have a huge graphics problem. My specs: Gtx 660 ti, i5 3570k, 8 gb ram corsair and Windows 7 64-bits. I have the last drivers and no OC. The first problem is that the calendar doesn t show, but things get really bad when I load FSX -fly now- (I seriously don t know how to explain this) the graphics are completely glitch, the screen shake and the terrain goes crazy. Hey there, I finally purchased OpusFSX last night after spending a number of weeks convincing myself that I didn't need it and that REX E+ and ASE would suffice as my weather generation engines. However after using the demo version for a few trips it convinced me that OpusFSX looked more realistic than the other programs so I bought it. So far I haven't noticed any major issues. There are a few stutters when weather appears to be generated but apart from that the immersion factor is impressive. REX textures and OpusFSX are a great combination. Hi all, not sure if this is the right place or not but would just like to ask if anyone could tell me how to lock my LOD setting at 6.5? I've tried the sim at this setting and it works fine with all other tweeks added for my system which is now really smoooth and crisp, if I don't enter the settings menu and confirm them in fsx will it stay at 6.5? hope this makes sense. I am new to flight simulation and i just bought Traffic 360 from Just Flight. I went in the hanger to load up some planes to fly like the Concord. I load up FSX and do a free flight with the Concord and it will not go over like 220 knots. Is there a way to change the speed to the real life speed?

Is there a set number of aircraft that will go in FSX ,I add a a/c it has two liveries only one shows up if it has a auto sequence that installs it ,then when I open it up I lose a aircraft,It's totally confusing because I can't find anywhere where it says there is a max.HELP!!! :( :angry:

Just an FYI that from my perspective there appears to be an issue with the just released 1213 AIRAC date from Navigraph (all rev1). I found it when starting Aivlasoft EFB - it crashes upon trying to read in the new cycle. It looks like there is an issue with the file wpnavapt.txt, numerous airfields have latitudes of -999.0000000. Beware that that file is part of the NavData in several different add ons (Aivlasoft, PMDG, IFLY, LevelD at least). Posted on their forum, so it will hopefully be addressed quickly.
