I installed Terblanche Jordaan's FS2002 B757-200BA (Filename: b757complete_v2.zip) and I can't get the main panel to work. What am I doing wrong? Help.

I flew the deb to knoxville, tennessee on monday to visit relatives. That flight was uneventful-2miles visibility in fog for the first 1/3 of the trip-and the dodging of developing thunderstorms and in the clouds the last hour arriving to knoxville on monday.I was going to leave tomorrow (sat) for the return trip as the thunderstorms/rain pretty much were predicted for all day in knoxville today. I really find it hard to believe that ANYONE has this sim running without lockups. Briefly: I had lockup problems and got a brand new computer: AMD 1400 Thunderbird using a GeForce3 64, 256 RAM. I still had the same problems. Lockups while moving windows, lockups adjusting the radio stack, lockups in weather.I got another stick of RAM; up to 512. I've tried different video drivers, from 23.11, to 29.42...at least four. I've used utilities suggested by some very helpful people on this site to remove the old, clean the registry and install the new ones.I've used MBProbe to monitor the CPU temp and it seems to be around 106-112 F.; barely hot to the touch.I've searched the a…

Any way to speed up the voice of the ATC in FS2002?I know you can change the speed of the overall sim to like 2X or 4X but then it cuts off the message...any way to make just the voice go faster?

Is it worth downloading? Will my stablility be affected in a big way?

If it's 30m mesh and the source is usgs then are the results in FS the same between different mesh offerings? The reason I ask is I recently installed some for the Pacific Northwest and many areas especially those around major airports are not accurate.Boeing Field near Seattle for instance has the runway sitting in this rectangular hole. The real runway does set down somewhat from the surrounding area but the mesh isnt even close. Can someone spread some light on this issue.RegardsBobG

I have seen the past couple of days some files floating around to fix the textures at some of FS2002 airports.. And I was wondering if someone was working on fixing it.I think the person that did the other ones was named page. I fly out of CVG all the time and have tried page's scenery but it still has some problems so I can't use it, and Chris Gilbert's scenery is only for FS2000.Hope someone can help me out, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed this..Thanks in advance!!JC

Unable to create more than one FLeet Manager without an error. The manual indicates that as many Fleet Managers can be created as desired. Lago support seems difficult to locate.By the way, is this forum now alphabetical rather than chronological ?

My flying time in FS2002 is already suffering owing to my addiction to installing whatever is new and exciting in Avsim's wonderful library; all the time praying that MS will not change the rules too drastically with FS2004 so that I have to start all over again.To date, I have only trifled with AI, playing with TT Tools and AFCAD to little effect. 1. When I setup a flight plan and begin that flight is there any way to always start with my engines shut and the avionics off instead of beginning with a plane ready to go???2. How much under the glideslope do you have to be in order for the AP to fly the approach? Thanks,ROBBY G

My atc has suddenly disappeared. When I press the ' key, I do not get the ATC dialogue window anymore, with any planes, on the ground and in the air. I am suspecting a lost DLL but where do I start looking. Anybody heard of similar problems?Thanks

Hi y'all,what reason might be behind this:1. Plane tunmbling (rolling) from left to right and back during AP managed flight.2. EGT rising like hell.3. "UP" Trim of 7.8 even during CRZ.This all together happens frm time to time. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. All Init Perf settings in the FMCDU are checked and rechecked. I believe I had this problem only with the small 319 so far (PSS). The plane shows normal behaviour when I disable the AP.Any ideas? ZFW too high? Too much fuel. I changed these settings: No impact whatsoever.Pls help. I am getting frustrated with my busses.Could this have something to do with turbulence enabled in FSMeteo and FSUIPC?Rgds,Alex

I have 5 aircrafts in my 737 folder.I recently downloaded a 737 National. Placed the bitmap, which shows fine, in its own texture.national folder. Changed the aircraft.cfg to reflect the new [fltsim.5], pointed to texture.NATIONAL.It does not show on FSEDIT or the flight sim. I checked and rechecked, nothing is wrong with the setup or the cfg file. I have done that with the 737 folder and the 747 folder before.What is strange, if I put the 737 National in its own folder, it works!!!Any ideas? Thanks.Abe

I just installed the IDFG Continental B757-200 (huge file!). When I go to cockpit view there is a panel but no scenery! It is pitch black! Does anyone know what I might have done wrong?Thanks for your help!Airbus

Does anyone else have problems with the Dreamfleet FS2000 Cessna 172 gauges crashing FS2002? I added the FS2000 Dreamfleet panel to the default c172 and FS2002 started crashing regularly. I removed all the DF172_** gauges from the FS2002Gauge folder and it seemed to stop crashing. Anyone else had this problem, and if so, do you know which gauges specifically to avoid using?

I am looking for a good MD-11 panel. Any suggestions?

When I downloaded a plane last night I extracted it to my aircraft folder. I then went to windows explorer to check that everything of the plane was in order. And to my utter bewilderment ALL of PAI aircraft are gone! I've still got the flightplans and aircraft.txt. Does anyone know what happened?Thanks in advance GrantP.S. Here is the approach chart for an NDB approach to RW16 at Penticton , Canada. Basically, you cross the first NDB (YYF) , turn to 340 and head outbound until you cross the second NDB (UNT) , do a procedure turn and head inbound on 160.But , there is a clockwise HOLD at the first NDB (YYF) --- why is this clockwise? If it was an anti-clockwise hold it would feed straight into the outbound 340 leg of the Approach.Am I missing something?
