There used to be a site where this was hosted, then I thought it came here to AVSIM, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where I can find this valuable list of tips on improving FS2002? I've just installed FS onto a new system, and need to make all those changes.Thanks,Bruce.

hi allanybody know where i can find the gauge file ...pb.pfd.gauge.i'm using chris's 747 panel,and the main PFD is missing.i contacted chris who said i need to put this gauge file into my fs2002gauge folder if its not already in there.and just my luck it's not....i've searched my HD for the file and it's not on there.i'm the only person to have contacted him with this problem,so everybody who uses this panel must already have the gauge.i searched the fs2002 disks in case its on there,but nothing.chris's file is called 747pcj.zip thanks stevefs2002winmeathlon 1800xpasus a7m 266512 2100ddr

Just reading some test flight reports from a web-page detailing a homebuilt (experimental) aircraft's test phase. Two interesting paragraphs caught my eye, regarding carb heat & use of elevator during the turn. Perhaps some of you would be interested. Carb Heat Engine stumbles and hesitates during application of full throttle during power off stall recovery. It did this every time with all flap settings. Several people thought that I was creating a negative "G" closing the float needle and causing the stumble. I tried again and was careful to not push the stick forward but just gently released back pressure at the stall, the engine still stumbled. Then someone asked …

Hi,I've recently downloaded the Fokker 100 KLM-UK G-UKFN by Oliver O'Sullivan. Everytime I try loading the aircraft, FS freezes and requires exiting the program.Any one have similar problem? Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks.Jonathan Kong

Hi y'all,I just went to the projectAI site and had a look at the donation appreciation page. I have to say that I am shocked. That is all? After all the talk in this and other forums worldwide?The guys did an excellent job and I am sure at least hundreds of people are using their files. I cannot understand why people from a flightsim community that spend hundreds of bucks for their hobby every year, do not feel willing or able to donate at least 10 bucks to support thtis fabulous work. Evening all, I am working on putting together a web site that will list all the current downloadable AFCAD files available. Now I know everyone is going to say, "I can get them at avsim, or flightsim" Yes you can, but I am offering another site. Plus it is broken down into geographical areas. I was to launch the site this weekend, but due to a family emergency, that launch has been pushed back to next weekend. I have a GeForce 2Ti for some reason the highest resolution available is 1600 X 1024 X 32. I would like to run the sim at 1600 X 1600 X 32 is there anyway to get that resolution as an option?? Thanks!!!!!!!!

Can somebody help, I have been flying Jetstream 41 recently and have noticed that when making a turn with AP the aircraft's nose rises and falls if 'Alt' is turned off it will settle down.Jetstream uses the default Beechcraft panel and I am wondering if maybe there is a file that needs tweaking.This aircraft appears extremely sensitive with contols and it does not take much for it to wind up crashed somewhere.

I took a little "hop" in a Cessna 150 (FS2K2), from Colorado Springs (00V) to Melbourne, FL (Merritt Is, KCOI). 7 legs, about 18 hours flying time give or take. I "derated" the 152 to give a more accurate cruise (~87kts) and fuel flow (for 3 hour legs plus reserves)One of the things I noticed was the "attention to detail". From take off out of Colo Spgs to Dodge City, KS, (FL075 for the folks across the pond) I had a Sectional chart avail, and it seemed every lake, stream, radio tower, road and airport (even the "private" ones) were included in the scenery. A while ago, someone posted about an airport in MSFS 2002 that was inside a mountain and almost impossible to depart from without circling to gain altitude first. I think it was in South America but I am not sure. Can anyone help?Thanks

Key/button assignments, realism, screen res, default flight, sensitivity, and more.. are always reset every now and then and FS2002 acts as if it is starting up for the first time after an installation.I always have to go re-assign all my buttons and keyboard commands, display settings, sound settings, create a new default flight, etc. Even copying in an old "perfect state" CFG file doesn't make it boot up as before.This happens every two months or so, sometimes less time in between occurances of it. Does anyone else experience, and does anyone know why it happens?Thanks,Rotorhead.

Okay, I know some of you folks also use a version of Fly! So my question is --- does MSFS02 have a comparable feature like the Vector Map in Fly!? The vector map is a window (usually set up to be transparent) which shows a moving icon representation of your plane (and any AI planes in the vicinity) and will also let you see where you are in relation to any airport or NAVAID in the vicinity. It's a really cool feature that I use a great deal in Fly!2I see that MSFS02 has a "map view" that gives you a graphical representation of your flight path after the fact, so to speak. Hi all,Recently i've started flying ILS. Normally when I'm doing a flight I will fly direct to, and so instead of using NAV hold, set into GPS mode, I will use HDG hold. However, on my last two flights I've done VOR to VOR, and so I have been using NAV hold. The whole flight things generally go well, until the ATC starts feeding me vectors. First off, look to the picture below for reference. I started painting the Beech in the US Air new colours, spent absolutely hours trying to get the colours right to find that there are some parts of the aircraft I can`t paint!The wing root and that bit in front of the tailfin.I`m gutted, I thought this was going to be a great paint.(so there you go guys and gals check your textures before you start!)I hope I`m wrong otherwise it`s in the trash can!regards:-(

Hey threre Guys! I need help for the Gates Radius for Project Ai Planes! I have all the Gates Radiuses that I have made with AFCAD set up for default planes and POSKY 767's! Now that I try to use PAI planse for Ai Taffic they do not show up on the ground! I tried using PAI 777 to show up but nothing! I tried a 737 from PAI and it finally showed up but in a gate MAde for a POSKY 767 when i had plenty Small Gates open!! So I assume the PAI planes need very big Radius sizes for it to show up! So I tried using the Default Heavy Gate Raduis to get the PAI 777 to work, still did not show up so the Raduis must be HUGE!!! That is ridculous though! Can anyone HELp me here If i nee…

It seems if I start the sim, I get the starting options screen in 640x480. If I start a scenario and exit out, the starting options screen is in 1024x768... Does anyone out there know if and how I can get the starting options screen in 1024x768 (any resolution other than 640x480) when I first start FS2002? Robert

FS runs much smoother and the graphics are better if I run it in 1024 by 768, but on the menu screens this happens. Any suggestions to make it normal again?
