I just installed Win XP. I am getting ready to reinstall FS2K2. I still have my FS2002 folder as it was while installed under Win 2000 Pro.After backing up the whole drive, I did a totally fresh install of Win XP formatting under NTFS. Then I simply copied my FS2K2 folder back to where it was.Should I reinstall FS2K2 directly over my current FS2002 folder?Or should I do a clean FS2K2 install and then move over all my huge number of add-ons and downloads (over 200 aircraft and LOTS of scenery) individually???Any thoughts appreciated!!!Happy Flying!Bill MolonyAtlanta GA USAUnder the 27L Approach to KATL--the busiest airport in the world :)

Here's my short, initial review of FS Scene Europe, coupled with LandClass. I purchased FS Scene Europe and LandClass Europe package from Simmarket.com Easy purchase, it dl'd, I unzipped and got ready to install. With LandClass Europe, the installation instructions were very easy to follow. I'm pretty knowledgable about the inner-workings of the file structures of FS2002, but for someone who isn't, LandClass is a breeze to install. FS Scene Europe had scant instructions with it. D/L'd the Air New Zealand 737-200's (2) - - (today's AVSIM list).Basic - probably redunadant question. I'm able to load the aircraft, and "both" models show in the aircraft selection - and all is fine with exterior views.However, only partial panel loading up - and, I initially got a "model not found" error message from FS2002 when I tried to load the aircraft........Obviously, I've mised a step - or I just don't know how to load / add these specific types of aircraft to the active FS list.....Any tips for the rookie, much appreciated !Ron

I don't know what is causing this problem but FS2002 seem to slow down on me sometime last week. The game runs great but when I start it off, it takes twice as long before the create-a-flight screen comes up. I don't have too many sceneries or aircraft installed. Is there a work around for this or is this normal when you start adding on all the addons.

I do not exactly understand how does the money thing works.OK, so I had a flight and there it was:INCOME $52.728PILOT -$7.909PAX -$5.272BALANCE $39.547 (OK that's easy INCOME - PILOT - PAX = BALANCE)FOR MAINTNANCE(20%) $7.909 (BALANCE x 20% = FOR MAINTNANCE)Now, I went to see how much money was in my account and it said $22.909 where did it come form?... That is the part I don't understand where did it get this number from?PS. This was my first flight with FSMaintnance so there are no other trips before that or anything, started from sratch. It was Boeing767-300ER flight from St. Louis - Toronto about 2hrs or so, not sure and the level was BEGGINER.Thanks

My 3 hour flight ended suddenly. There I was after a 3 hour flight, on final, gear down, flaps set and just starting to flair for a landing, when suddenly...... my fricken computer just decided to reset its self. (enter expletives here) I coulda handled it in mid flight or at the start of the fight, but just as I was about to land ??? GRRRRRRRRRsorry, I just had to vent. now I must go and edit my flight log... I'll be damned if I'm not going to credit myself for that flight. I have downloaded the setup progran 4 times. Each time the bgl files are placed in the scenery folder and the texture files are place in the Textures folder in the Add On folder. But when I place an aircraft at KOSH the new textures do not take effect. I have the runways, all the parked aircraft and such, but setting in the middle of a big grayish black blob. When I try to look at a single texture file using a program that will display bmp files (iphoto express) I get a the following message: Unable to open file E:/Microsoft GamesFS2002OSHKOSHTextures003100003033112fa.bmp. Has anyone else noticed that Page Cline's scenery for KCVG has gates that are made for aircraft no larger than a 737??? It's quite irritating because now i can't fit my Delta 767's or 777's or anything else there!!!

In Fs2000 I was a Pilot I flew round the world in my plane and visit distant lands .Now in Fs2002 I have become the Plane spotter I go from airport to airport in the menu and just look at what planes are there and is it one of mine oh no it is ed's or that is nice and I wonder what is around the other terminal and i joyfully "SLEW" round the building and are rewarded with a ATR in American Eagle !!!!!What is happening to me ?
