Hi all, I have just replaced my old GF2 GTS 32Mb(ASUS 7700)VGA with a new GF 4 Ti 4200 (Creative 3D Blaster4 Titanium 4200) card.I had expected an improvement in FPS, but all I got was a DECREASE of about HALF the FPS that I had with my old card.Current driver is 28.32 (came on CD with the new card)I have a MSI K7T 266 Pro MoboAMD Thunderbird 1.7GHz CPU512 Mb DDR RAMWindows 98SECan anyone suggest the best driver and possibly settings for my new graphics card?Thank you all.

Been using this avionics package for a few days now and I am quite pleased. I was hoping I could find a way to use the GPS to practice approaches. Has anyone out there figured out a way to program published GPS approaches into a flight plan so that they can be flown with FS2002?

Hi there, just a quick question. I have a number of older aircraft from FS2000, which fly ok in FS2002. I would like to know if it is possible to get ATC to recognise them. One of the aircraft in question is an old colours Britannia 767/300ER. I notice that ATC has "Britannia" listed, so just wondering if I can get ATC to recognise it. Many thanks for any help. I thought if it was 30m it was all the same. These pictures proved they are not. I was most interested in Steves as the raised side of the airport (highway) is correct and the other side does flatten in real life. Wind was 340. 737 landing on 16 and A/C leaving on 34Is this an AFCAD Config problem or PAI. Anyone know how to fix it.I did fix the problem of A/C stopping and holding up traffic. Not sure who posted that fix but it worked.. ThanksRegardsBobG

I set the random failure setting again tonight to lose an engine randomly sometime in 600 minutes (still much more likely in the sim than in the air with those odds, by the way...)Well, I lost it!So, how do you land this thing. I couldn't give it enough rudder to overcome the uneven thrust - and when I lowered the thrust, I started having problems with stalling.So do you do a steeper descent, so you keep the speed with less thrust? Do you crab the plane into the working engine, to try to tack straight?I can't wait to find out. Thanks.Colin

Well I downloaded & installed PAI. first the Base Pack then Several of the Airline Pack's. When I started up FS2K2 I was dissapointed to find out that there was no AI traffic @ all. Not @ any airport & not in the sky either. I'm running a fairly fresh install of FS2K2 w/ ATC @ 100%. I've looked thru all the files & I think everything look's in order but obviously somethings wrong.As far as the airline packs go, I installed the Air France one first; then the others.Does anyone have any suggestions??Thanx.

Installed XP Home couple of days ago. Loaded in FS2K2 with no problems. Default planes, PSS A3XX series, PIC 767, all work fine. Went to spot mode and tried to change the view distance from an aircraft by using View Options. When clicked on View Options, got an error message, referencing ntdll.dll, and asking if wanted to reboot or shutdown FS2K2. Same thing happens whether using default planes and panels or addon planes and panels. Anyone else seen this?ThanksSteve

Can someone help me with this:I downloaded a nice B1900d plane for FS2000that I'm trying to use in FS2002.Every thing seems to work well except when changingfrom the front view to the side view every thing is okbut when I go back to the front view, the side view is behind it(both views at once)Is there a command line that I can insert(or delete)in thepanel config to correct this?Thanks for any help you can give.DenverDave

Anyone know of a way to directly access FS Assist Pushback functions through the keyboard? Call me lazy, but I don't like having to access the Pushback through the menus.

I recently downloaded the Piper Archer III which had an auto install file included (exe file). To a hacker like me, this made the installation a piece of cake.Does anyone know of any other freeware aircraft download's which have auto install file included? Is there a way to click on runway lights at the smaller airports/strips that aren't usually lighted?

Is it possible to use the slew commands to begin a flight in the air in the proximity of an airport? I would like to practice landings, and it would be easier if I can place the aircraft in the air, at a specific altitude, and x number of miles outside the airport.Can this be done using slew commands? If yes, how do I do this? I am not familiar with the slew aspects of FS2002.Thank you.Stanner

Hi there.I've got some very strange lockups. They occur totally random in flight. Sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after half an hour. The screen only shows a green line at the top of the monitor. The other space is just black. Only a hard reset can cure this.The problem showed up after I installed my new Geforce4 TI4600. I've tried all the nvidia driver from 27.42 to 29.80. Also the new Via drivers 4.38 and 4.40.Tried different resolutions in FS2002 to no avail. I've checked the AGP settings, no side band adressing or fast writes. AGP4x worked fine before so I don't think that this could cause the problem.I also don't think that the temperature is a critical part. A…
