HiThis looks very interesting; it appears to be a large install of AI aircraft.As I sucessfully run the superb Project Ai downloads can anyone comment whether they have this and whether it will adversely affect PAI STUFF; I think Im correct that this is just aircraft?I have downloaded and it is fine because its just aircraft sooo all I have to do is substitute aircraft in TTools, there is a collection of 144 aircraft there!Sun

Good day all.I have recently upgraded the FS2000 Concorde to FS2002 so I can work on my Space Plane files, but I have a problem.The Mmo and Vmo numbers in the air file are ignored. There's a section (using AirEd) called "1516: Concorde Overspeed Table", with the value being True or False. This tells me the Concorde IAS/Mach overspeed display is derived from something in the program itself.Is there any possible way to subvert this? I have adjusted the Concorde to fly at Mach 2.5, but the tables still only allow Mach 2.04 Mmo before going over speed. Accordingly, the IAS Vmo is also only set to the corresponding Mach 2.04 value.My goal for the space place is Mach 6.5, 1…

Hi all,Probably been asked before but, here goes:-I find that I can hardly see runway VASI lights during daytime at all from the cockpit view of the 172. If I use 'w' to remove the panel then the VASI lights are very bright. I noticed using Dreamfleet's Archer that they ARE visible from inside the cockpit of that airplane, so maybe they did something to the config file? I notice that the aircraft.cfg files do have a section on lighting, but I don't know how to set the parameters for that. Anyone help?Cheers,Marco.

Hi All: I would like to know is it possible to hook up 2 USB control yokes or joysticks at the same time? (1 for the pilot and the 2nd for the co-pilot)I don't see how. I know there are some expensive setups out there where the 2 yokes are actually 1 unit but I wasn't looking for anything that elaborate. I guess the bottome line is that they could not both be active at the same time hence the problem. Anyone see anything I'm missing??Thanks,Mark McLeroy

Hi there,OK, I've tried to tweak my old rig to no avail. I've read many posts about a possible fix for the gdi.exe problem from MS for Win98SE but I simply can't find it (shame on me I know). Does anyone have the direct link to this fix from Microsoft? Unfortunately I only get this error with the PSS Airbus and I just don't want to give up. i've installed several AFCAD files to make my airports a little more crowded and/or to have them use multiple runways. i've discovered that at 2 of the airports (KDEN and KMIA) the readme says it adds LOTS of gates, yet at my airport i only see AI planes around 1 terminal?in my KDEN, i only see aircraft at the northern most terminal complex, and at KMIA i only see aircraft around the northeastern terminal and 3 heavies at the next terminal west of there. has anyone experienced this? any solutions? maybe a re-install of the AFCAD files?thxchris

G'Day!I downloaded and installed this airport/base but about half the buildings are that plain white blank.I've carefully gone over it to make sure I didn't misplace or forget anything and I can't see where the problem is.Also tried emailing the author but so far, no response.Has anyone else who has installed this scenery had this problem?Regards,Heather

Started to use Project AI's flighplans and very impressed with the work they have put into it, the autoloaders are great IF they work...I'm finding that the compiler spits the dummy if a schedule goes to an airport that is not in the airports.txt file, which is fair enough, we can't have aircraft flying aimlessly around in side my computer.Now I have found about 6 airports used in various schedule that are not in airports.txt and have been forced to put in a substitute to use the schedule.GET TO THE POINT!!!!OK I will,Does anybody know of a file with more current airports? that can be added then compiled.Also how come ICAO VNNB (in Vietnam) can be found in the F2K2 list o…

Just wondering if any of the developers out there have thought about forming a lobby group to encourage Microsoft to shift their focus away from scenery generation to flight simulation.Microsoft got the scenery part right, it's just time they fix the other stuff (ie., break away thrust on the ground is way too high). I will have a fairly comprehensive comparison using FS2k2 of my GF3TI200 64mb card that was O/C to 230/500 core/mem vs. an MSI/PNY TI4400 128mb card O/C to 300/630 ($229@BB) in a few days.Yeah, the 3dmark2001se score shot up to 12060 (link below to compare)and that was at just 1.8+Ghz! But what will she do in FS2k2? And what will an upgrade like this do for you? Should you wait for the next gen cards? Would you be satisfied with the results? I have just uploaded a aircraft tonight with some thought, which is my tribute to the horrible times in New york ,I do not wish to bring up bad memorys or anything but it has taken me this long to even be able to talk about it .Even though i am not American it still felt like a attack on my family and truly effects me in a way I can not explain .So rather like the Statue of liberty I decided some time ago to do something to release some of the feelings i have so I spent the last few days making this ,and thinking the while about it.I just want people to know the reasons for this and not to get the wrong ideas or anythingAnniette xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the following...ATC vectors you in to the LOC on the active runway, confirms RWY again as you establish the localizer, Then when ATC hands you over to tower on short final, tower says...fly downwind and enter the pattern for a completly different RWY!This has happened twice at two different airports.I have traffic set to 100, (never happened at 60).Using the PSS A320.Thanks,Astro

Hi, I just noticed that my new chip which is an AMD XP 2100 during boot indicates that its a MP chip. Does it matter? Its the same mz as the XP 2100 chip... (1.733mz). Is it the same thing? Just curious since I though it would say XP during bootup.Thanks,Bill
