Hi as this is probably in the wrong place but here goes, I have REX4 TD installed and the latest DX10 fixer version 2.5 and are very dissapointed with the water textures as I'm finding it impossible to get it right, I've been through all the REX4 water textures, forums, and can not reduce the massive sparkling effect on the water surface (very pixelated) and induced white flashing, I previously had REXESS\OD which was very happy with. I've tried the water reflection adjustments in the fixer but looks like I'm going around in circles, also tried FWSC water which looked worse, DX10 is set up as per the guides as well as NI to the "T", so if anyone has an idea that would b…

Can you delete all the settings of EZDok rather than just re installing it? I've been able to go in and delete the camera views but what about all the other settings, I've put into it. Seems that there should be some sort of "clear/reset settings" feature. No?

i am considering purchasing the GTN 750 moving map. Can someone tell me if the map is capable of displaying the ILS localizer course on the map, similar to the stock GPS in FSX? Thanks

What settings do you need checked or unchecked in order to get the vertical panning to work with the locked spot and spot default fsx camera angles with ezdok active? The divine Linux713 says his works but isn't willing to comment further.

Will the dhm and bump aircraft features work when using an alternative weather engine such as asnext? Or do I need to use the opus weather engine for realistic turbulance effects?

I am just a new flyer on the Airbus and I want to install some liveries to the A320/321 CFM and IAE. but I have a problem... after I'm downloading the Livery and follow the instructhions, I cant see the aircraft on the FSX. I tried to install the livery with the Livery manager program and it doesn't work either. thanks for helpers!

Hi all, Are there any addon planes that have SVS simulated? I think only certain Gulfstreams have it installed as standard in RL (I'm sure I'll be corrected on that very quickly B) ) It looks very cool and would be a great (if enormously time and CPU-cycle consuming to both create and run) addition to any glass cockpit. It would also make flying in places like SAK more interesting, being able to get into terrain in 3d. I'm a sucker for a gimmick, I know I have TAWS, but it looks better If any gauge devs are feeling like they need something to get their teeth into; I'll buy it for sure! Thanks jake

I'm considering buying the A2A P51 Mustang and it's the civilian version that interests me. I already have a Military P51 in DCS. So why buying another military P51 for FSX which is a civilian oriented sim ? I would like to hear from people who has both the DCS P51 and also the A2A P51. I wonder if I could use what I have learnt in DCS (apart from purely military stuff) and use it in FSX with the A2A Mustang ? I mean it's the same plane. If not why not ? Both are supposed to be very realistic. Well I have heard that the DCS P51 is more realistic than the A2A one because of limitations in FSX. In what way would I get less realism with the A2A version compared to DCS ?

with fsx ? im running amd driver 14.4 but I need to upgrade because of the new pc games that need new amd driver but also I don't want fsx to start crashing when upgrading

Even after studying manuals, training videos, and educational sites, I still can't figure out how to enter a holding pattern on the RXP GNS 530. After entering into OBS mode, I always sail right past the next waypoint, and even after pushing the OBS again and going into "SUSP" I still keep sailing along my manually inputted coarse heading on the HSI, never turning back to the waypoint I expected to be circling. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I'm quite new to FSing and one of my current interests is flying low and slowish so I can view the scenery, much from Orbx. Somehow the instrument panel of the Robin allows an excellent view of the outside, which is just what I want. OK, I'm using FSX. And I just re-installed the Robin DR400 just in case of an install error. I even re-downloaded the Robin Install File, making sure the file was downloaded with a download manager. Now that big airliners are getting weather radar integrated, are there any biz jets or general aviation that have it, or will have it? I have heard Carenado's version is a framerate hog and not that realistic. I'm trying to find a little faster airplane that has this feature when I want to go farther and faster than my Carenado PC-12 will take me.

Hi guys, some days ago I downloaded Dineo Cattaneo´s awseome F-35 Lightning II from his site. What a nicely made model. But I´ve got one problem bugging me since: I can´t get it into VSTOL-mode. Whenever I load a F-35B (the one which can VSTOL), it´s enigne mode reads "EMER MODE" whereas it should read "CTOL MODE". Pushing the VSTOL-buttons does absolutely nothing then. I´ve tried with was less fuel but no avail. The net is full of people having the same problem but I haven´t found any clue yet. Anyone an idea? Btw. when I downloaded it there was a link to some MS C++ Redist. it needs to work but I haven´t been able to find that site again.

A prominent feature on this aircraft is the portside cockpit window, which pilots will usually open and lock when at the ramp. Is this featured? I don't see it in the open position in any of the pictures or videos?

Suppose a flight is entered into the CDU and the simmer would only hand fly to 800 feet using the flight director indications and then activate the autopilot..( of course use VNav,LNav and autothrottle ) Is this feasible and if not,why. How high can u go with ur pmdg 737/47/77? Dont know abt 777 but 737/747 does not go higher then fl290. As soon as it starts climbing up, its speed decreases. What is the cruise speed of these airplanes? Is it 340 kts?

Well I attempted to fly it today and it will not move. Parking breaks are off. But the weird thing is, the plane acts like its moving. the speed will build, the wheels will move. The plane also hovers above the ground.

Hi all, i have the Aerosoft airbus extended x and it all works fine, until i installed a couple of air New Zealand liveries and from the outside they look great, BUT in the vc there are no textures. The vc is fully black even the windows are black so you cannot see anything through them. It must need something in the texture config but im not sure. thank you all for any help i would appreciate it.

Hi All I've reinstalled FSX and now have ridicilous blurries to the point where you can't even make out a texture any more, it's just like a patch of colour. I was using xxxxxx's FSX tweaks for nvidia inspector and thought this could be the problem but I restored everything and I still have them. I've also tried using FPS limiter and again not but it seems anything I do can't seem to shift these horrific blurries.

Hello! I have quite a bit of addon scenery and I realize that this takes up memory and can lower framerate even when you're far from it. Is there some kind of program that I can use to disable the scenery before setting up a flight? I think I've found some programs that can do that, but I'm not so sure. Any help is appreciated Thanks, Phil
