Hi All I seem to have this thing going on that when I use any of the AA settings in nvidia inspector that say d3d only, which so happen to be the ones that work best for me, it causes my enb to blur everything within FSX. Is there a work around for this?

This little aircraft has recently become one of my favorites to fly. Does anyone know whether or not any modifications have been made to this plane to incorporate a heading indicator guage or full fledge autopilot? One can set the autopilot to select an altitude, but can't find a way to select heading/course. I've tried the Direct-To option on the GPS to set a destination course, but the plane does not follow it. If I let go of my controller the plane starts to fly in circles as if it was part of a Nascar race! If there is no fix it's not a big deal, just thought I'd ask. Thank you.

I've just installed FSX into my new computer running Windows 7. I've been installing new scenery. Now, when I start up FSX, I get the message "SCENERY.CFG file error. Invalid Remote Scenery path in Scenery Area.115. Click OK to continue." Where do I find Scenery Area 115 and what should I do when I get there? gpry

Whats some good JFK remakes? I recently flew two flights in and out of, and would like a more detailed version than whats currently offered on FSX, and I've never really just bought an airport before, it's always been scenery that happened to include a couple of airports.

Hi! Anyone have a good Shade preset to use in FSX (with the DX10 fixer) ? I'm looking deeper contrast, darker shadows and preferably darker clouds at night time. I've tried setting it up myself but cloud all appear pink at night for some reason. I'm tired of the "washed out" effect that FSX inherits... X-Plane 10 has some amazing color saturation and contrast, but I'm not switching over to that. Already spend to much money here

I fly two types of aircraft in FSX. A specially tweaked PMDG 737-800 from FS9 and Concorde-X from FSLabs. The panel I use with the 737 is very simple as the glass cockpit (Project Magenta) runs on a WideFS PC. So the amount of available VAS is quite high. This means I can set Autogen, Scenery Complexity and a few other settings near the max. But with Concorde-X it does use quite a bit of VAS so these settings have to be lower to avoid running out of memory. I could manually change these settings each time but I'm looking for a more elegant solution. One option would be to control how FSX starts by using a batch file with two options. Hey everyone, looking for some guidance on an issue I encountered recently. I have a multitude of freeware and payware addons for FSX, but recently, I started noticing that while flying into certain airports, ATC will give me directions to descend and maintain 0 until established, and the airport might not even be at 0 MSL. So the AI aircraft won't know to ignore that and they land short of the airport by 5 miles and then taxi in (even over water). Obviously the program has corrupted the elevation of certain features but I cant find the problem. Thanks in advance for the help.

After spending hundreds on 25-30 pay ware airports around the USA, and just beginning intercontinental flight after purchase of T7 I have been looking at overseas airports I've been flying to. Before stroking the credit card for anymore eye candy I ask myself is it worth it. A lot of these airports I haven't used more then once or twice. Some have bought install issues, missing areas, using default buildings, even performance drag downs. Please don't think I'm slamming developers as some of the recent ones are great works of art and deserve admiration as such. I'm just asking myself are defaults that bad. Yes, this is my second post within a few minutes. Today is my own official "ask the avsim community about my FSX quirks" day. Anyway, I always fly my flights using default FSX ATC. When I'm a certain number of miles out from an airport, they give my the "XXX, you are ## miles XX, expect vectors Visual/ILS Runway ##X" or something to that effect. The problem is that whenever they make that announcement, I go from a solid 20FPS down to about 2-3FPS as soon as they start the announcement to about 15-30 seconds later, then my FPS goes back to normal. So, I've been having this problem with FSX for a long time now, and although it's really just an annoyance I'd like to get it fixed. I run FSX in windowed mode, and after I click on the FSX icon I usually open up my web browser while I wait for it to load up. If I'm simply creating a flight then flying using my web browser doesn't seem to matter. However, when I try to load a flight, if I had been using my browser between launching FSX and resuming the flight, FSX's visuals do not load. What happens is that, instead of the loading bar on a black background, I simply get the loading bar on top of my desktop. When it finishes loading, i can hear the sounds from the sim but …

I set up RC4 on a network computer and it works fine with the FS sim, however, the controllers voice and commands are played on the the other computer not on the sim computer. Is there a way to change or project the voices onto the computer that I'm actually running the sim? I can't find anything in a manual or forum that addresses this. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi, I got this problem on Aerosoft EDDB, with all aircrafts, while taxing or take-off all aircrafts bounce/jump and when rolling always see an grainy ground. Look: Anyone more experience this?

I can't find anything in the GTN 750 manuals on how to do this. I'm trying to create a holding pattern at a given waypoint in my flight plan. Not one on an approach. Thanks Bill

Hello. Default GPS is no more on any aircraft. Airport GPS(worked well); WX Readar (worked well) ; Taws ( worked well ) disapeared . They worked together very well with default GPS; Now no way to have any . Thks for your help. Pierre F

Is there a remedy for shimmering buildings. It appears that the polygons won't settle down ~ I've tried changing the type filtering (Anisthropic, Bilinear, etc) but that hasn't helped. Any tips to try will be appreciated. Best to all, Ken

Hey, I am (sort of) able to fly the PMDG 737 NGX. If I would learn that airplane in much more detail, could I (in theory) fly a real Boeing 737? I was thinking that because of the incredible amount of realism and the co-operation with Boeing themselves for the PMDG. Of course, I'm not trained to fly in specific situations and maybe I would get an heartattack if some of the warning lights went on in reallife, but by knowing the cockpit and what everything is doing, it should be possible to at least start, taxi and depart a real airplane, shouldn't it?

One of the new features is real time cloud and autogen shadows.
